#2 was the one I went by. Hey, what the fuck did Skeletor expect to find in Grayskull anyway? Seriously, did it ever say what was in there that was so important?

Thanks for the link man; I've been aching to hear this ever since I heard that Halford joined up again. So far, it sounds exactly as I would expect; which isn't surprising, since I found that Halford's most recent solo albums sounded like Judas Priest did recently anyway.

American's Slipping In Education

Have you actually heard people use this term, or did you just read it in "Savage Love" or whatever that sex advice colum is? -
I dunno, I liked the way that match ended. The stunner didn't work, the chairshot didn't work; so Autin hit him with a chair about 30 times. Genius.

Oddly enough, I've heard that soy is like, the most genetically modified food that there is.

I think D-Lo was in the Nation for a while, but he never did anything. He was just one of the faceless guys who wore a suit and walked to the ring. But then Ahmed powerbombed him through a table, and he started wrestling shortly after, I believe.

The main arguments I've heard against it are this: If a genetically modified food (like, corn) gets out into the wilderness, it's possible that, since it was most probably genetically engineered to be more hardy, it would replace all other forms of corn. And, if it was engineered to fend off certain insects, well, those bugs are all gonna starve. Further, it's *possible* that mixing around certain genes could be problematic to people with allergies. Like, if they used genes from peanuts in apples for some reason, then someone allergic to peanuts could possibly now be allergic to that kind of apple. I'm still undecided on the stuff, myself. I think it'd be nice if they still grew and sold all-natural foods though, just because it would calm some people down.

Fuck Orton/Taker. Orton's gotten HOW MANY rubs from legends? Let someone else break the streak - someone who hasn't already gotten a jillion rubs and a shitty world title reign.

I kinda expected the barbed wire would be a non-factor as soon as I saw the cage. I mean, the whole POINT of it would be to keep the guys in. In order to keep them in, it would have to keep them AWAY from the wire. And then, apparantly, the rules allowed for cage escape victory? What's even the POINT then?
-
The show without a theme question....is it Lost? I don't think there's any actual music...just the word "LOST" and maybe some creepy noises for like, 10 seconds.
-
So...did they use the barbed wire at all? I didn't see the PPV.
-
If I'm not mistaken, it's not only clothes, but a "woe-is-me" attitude and, well...listening to emo music.

When I saw them back in 2001, they played a fair bit of Danzig stuff, though the majority was the newer stuff.

Frailty.

How Come they never made it big?

Actually...I think that explains everything. You shoulda just brought that up in the first place. -

Again, I don't see how this is any different from all the other random guys they bring in who can't even do that very well. -

I know. I already said that. Look, all I'm really saying is that, even though he was not as big in relative terms when he got the the WWE, he was by no means small, and he still had more experience then a lot of the guys they put on TV. I just don't see why he wasn't given more of a chance. I mean, hell, the first feud I can remember him having in the fed was with the Hardy boys; had he been able to use his size there and been given more of a push over them, he could have gotten over. But if I recall correctly, he didn't do too well in that feud, and was doing the weekend shows in short order before being let go. It just surpises me that Vince didn't give him more of a chance. -

Yeah, but it's not like he's the only guy in wrestling who ever gave his height as more then it was. And it's not like 6'4" is small. -

I'm doing some checking around on Awesome's stats - every single place I'm looking gives his height as 6'6", which I know is what he was billed at in ECW. I mean, I know that billed height =/= real height, but he must've been somewhere in the general area, or at least as big as other guys billed at about 6'6". I also know that he did lose a lot of what made him good in ECW just by working in promotions where he was about average height; in ECW he was bigger then everyone. And I know he wasn't a great worker or actor; but the thing is, I just find it hard to understand that Vince, a guy who's known for taking useless slugs with no wrestling skill and putting them on TV just because they're big, saw Mike Awesome and didn't do ANYTHING with him. Like, I just don't see the difference between Awesome and some of these other random goons, besides the fact that Awesome actually had a few years in the biz and had a better idea of how to work. Like, I don't think that even if he was pushed hard there would be any guarantee he would have gotten over in the fed; I just find it hard to believe that they didn't even try, know what I mean? -

*head explodes* I must have it. NOW. Anyway, a feature I thought might be neat for the Smackdown series...I figure it'd be way too hard to have a create-a-move feature, because of all the stuff you'd have to do, BUT, I think it'd be neat if there was create-a-finisher. What I mean is, you'd be able to take an existing move and personalize it as your finisher. So if you created a Lyger clone, it'd say his finisher was the Lygerbomb and not Powerbomb 14 or whatever. Also, if you could personalize the move by adding a pose or something before it. Like, you know how Randy Orton will stand behind someone with his arm out, wait for them to turn and then hit the RKO? Basically, you'd be able to pick a move (Diamond Cutter), but set it so that it's done from behind, and then add in the pose, just like you would in the create-an-animation thing. I just think it'd be a really neat way to personalize created wrestlers. You could do things like raising your hand for a chokeslam and waiting for the guy to get up off the ground before hitting it, kinda like Goldberg's spear in HCTP, or you could hit a powerbomb and then do a pose right afterwards, like how HBK does a little dance after hitting the Superkick. You know, stuff like that.
-
Hey, does anyone know any decent sites that have CAWS for HCTP, but like, for the actual wrestler and not just the moveset? I suck at trying to create guys from scratch.

You say that like the half-dozen other random goons they've thrown on TV in the past few months have had a personality. It just boggles my mind that Vince had a guy who was 6'6", 300 pounds, and was willing to do things like topes and take sick bumps, and yet he did NOTHING with him. I mean, these days he has guys who are the same size and don't seem to be willing (or capable) to do anything outside of a bodyslam, and they get main-event pushes. I mean, the hell? -
SUPERPOWERS???? I'd like to know what the fuck they plan on using for superpowers. All the characters are already invincible to anything, and most of them can pull anything ranging from a buick to battleship out of their pocket; what else do you NEED?
