I assumed that the monster wasn't so much a monster as it was how the island screws with people's heads. So maybe a monster didn't stick the pilot up there, but some of the other people already on the island (who are obviously fucked in the head) did. You know, the whole Lord of the Flies deal.

The name thing was what I really liked about Jericho's debut. From what I could tell, it seemed like a lot of people expected Jericho to be the man the clock was counting down to, but no one was really sure. So the clock ticks down, and still no one is sure. And the lights start changing colors, and no one is sure. And the pyro goes off, and the music hits, and no one is sure. And then JERICHO in giant letters, so everyone was sure all at once. I really liked how they did that.

That's because the tag titles were ALWAYS the WWF Tag team titles. Besides, the only reason they use World is because it makes it easier to tell the difference. All their belts that aren't belts for a certain area (like the IC or US) are World titles by default, but it's just redundant to say WWE World Heavyweight champion. I mean, World Wrestling Entertainment World Champ? Just sounds silly. Mind you, having the word Entertainment in there makes it sound silly anyway, but I think you see my point.

Oh yeah - Mike Awesome. We didn't even see it - we were watching the end of some movie before RAW, and a buddy called and was like "OHMYFUCKDIDYOUFUCKINGSEETHAT???" Man alive, that kicked ass.

You know, as ridiculous as their whole angle is, I really did enjoy the one night on RAW where it was revealed that Taker's family died in the fire, mainly because of the promo 'Taker cut, explaining himself. I enjoyed how they managed to humanize the character, and give a rationale for him being "dead" - basically, with all his family stripped away, he turned towards a life of death itself (as bizarre as that sounds) and became obsessed with it. He then claimed to be drawing power from the souls of his dead parents, which may have been just a WEE bit over-the-top, but at least it was a better reason for no-selling then "I'm dead. RAR." Speaking of which, was it ever confirmed that the ashes in the urn were those of his parents? I know it was rumoured, but I dunno if they ever actually came out and said it.

The whole bit with the psychic and the baby suddenly became a lot more interesting. It seems to me that whoever else is on the island wants to raise the baby for themselves; why else would they abduct Claire? So since the psychic sent her to the island, doesn't that mean that he would have known those people would try to steal the baby? So was he lying about her having to raise it, to try and get the baby in the hands of these people, for whatever reason? Or do these people fear what the baby could grow up to be, and simply want to kill it right off the bat?

Hopefully it means that security is tightened the hell up. I mean, the guy not only got a gun inside, but got on stage with the friggin' thing. That should never have happened, period.

So, it seems pretty likely that Dimebag is indeed dead, but it has yet to be confirmed. No names yet. But two band members are dead, and from reports, Dimebag DID get shot. EDIT: God. Damn.
