Bravo's 100 Scariest Movie Moments
The Metal Maniac replied to Gary Floyd's topic in Television & Film
Uhhh....the UNSTOPPABLE KILLING MACHINE? I dunno, I thought that Arnie continuing to advance, no matter what, was pretty scary. That said though, this list says moments, but then just gives movie titles. I'd like to know what the exact moments in question are, as it'd probably make the list clearer. -
Vince: "Hey, I got a great idea! You know all these nobodies? Let's make them look better then everyone in the fucking fed! That's BRILLIANT!"

Every single person that no-sold THE BIG SHOW should be shown the door, NOW. If they're not smart enough to realize that, when in the middle of the ring, during a SD taping, with PEOPLE WATCHING, they should sell for THE GODDAMNED BIG SHOW, then they have NO business in wrestling. None. Period.

D-Von Dudley involved in altercation w/ fan

Not when the man in question is being PAID to MAKE people want to yell things at him. -
D-Von Dudley involved in altercation w/ fan
The Metal Maniac replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in The WWE Folder
You say that like people go to wrestling shows, and yell at wrestlers because they WANT to get in fights with them. I don't see how you can be against the fan here. He yelled at D-Von (which fans do) and then he told D-Von not to hurt him, because he had a bad back. What did he do wrong, exactly? -
If by "best", you mean the most fun, then the winner is easily the Fire Pro D Pizza Box Tournament. Me and 3 buddies decided to have a battle royale tournament, but we also decided to be picky about it. A wrestler could only be used once, though I think we may have cheated a bit once we got down to the nitty-gritty. Anyway, we had 8 seperate battle royales, with the winners advancing to the final battle royale - but you had to keep the same guy. Like, if you happened to win one with Austin, you HAD to use him in the final - unless you had won 2 or more, in which case you had your pick of the winners. Also, you HAD to win at least one battle royale to be allowed into the final one, which made things even more fun. It was called the pizza box tournament because it was for the last slice of pizza, and we kept track of who'd been used on the box. Anyway, it was fun as all hell, with highlights being Chyna CRITICALing Ultimo Dragon with a ballshot, and the discovery that Andre's running elbow drop is the most devastating move in the game - not just because you were dead after you took it, but because it was impossible to play with him yelling "oooooo" every time he did it. I actually put my controller down and left the room in the middle of a match, I was laughing so damned hard. Ahhh...hours upon hours of Fire Pro...I wish that Dreamcast wasn't dead.

Man, I'm so glad I'm not the only person who did this. I used a bunch of different figures, including some that I don't even know where they came from - no actual wrestling figures though, not one. I do recall having a Batman figure as the top face, and a Spider-Man figure as the top heel though. Oh, and using a laundry basket for cage matches.

I thought Rocco was a wallabee.

Seconded. They STILL don't have the Eddie DVD out at the one I work at, but they've got the empty space where it belongs.

Ok, for one, I had almost forgotten about Earthworm Jim and how much ass that show kicked. Also, Freakazoid kicked all the ass as well. "Freakazoid! You wouldn't kill your father, would you?" "You're my father?" "Uhhhhh......yes!" Undergrads was good the first 30 times I watched it, but I can't watch the show anymore - I know every episode line-for-line, pretty much. Clone High was a much better show, especially the Rock Opera. I used to watch Rocco's Modern Life, but I can't really remember anything about it.

Wrestling-related Halloween costumes
The Metal Maniac replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
I dressed as Raven for a party a few years back, complete with steel chair. -
I didn't see that first one when it happened, but I saw the finish eventually and thought it was gold. Flair just kinda slid the chair right in under the Undertaker, in perfect position for 'Taker to tombstone Hulk on it. Golden.

Yeah, I have no interest in this game, even though I've played and loved every other Tony Hawk game. I didn't like THUG as much as the others either, really. I think I'm just gonna get a copy of 4 (I only have the PS1 Version) so I can skate as Eddie, and be happy with that.

I've never watched Impact, but with this news, I think I may, because now I can. But now I must ask - what kind of match quality does Impact give you? Is it like, jobbers vs jobbers, stars vs jobbers, stars vs stars, what? I mean, I'll be glad to see any wrestling that isn't the WWE for free right now - but if it's all Joe Nobody vs Nobody Joe, no thanks.

No man, it works for everyone. You can't post here so we don't have to read your posts, and since you can't post here, you don't have to read his. Everybody wins!

I got pulled over for doing 80 in an 50 zone once. I was very polite to the cop, told him that I hadn't noticed I had been going that fast, and explained that I was just going home after work - it was about 11 PM. Warning. Boo-yeah.

"Sorry Fry. They re-named Uranus in 2036 to end that stupid joke once and for all." "What's it called now?" "Urectum."

I think this is an important difference between HHH and Hogan. People WANTED Hogan to win all the time, because he was the big face everyone loved. He was like, everyone's home team. HHH is the exact opposite. He's a heel - he's not supposed to win all the time. Besides that, people aren't supposed to want to see him win all the time. People want to see heels lose, because they don't like heels. It'd be like your home team losing every single time you went to see them play. Eventually, you just don't bother.
