    My Take....

Oh, totally. They could've gotten in the ring, walked in circles for 5 minutes, then took three bumps (combined) and finished the match, and the people would STILL have been fucking rabid. I can't understand how that match didn't get booked. It would've been an excellent "special attraction" match at WMXX. The two biggest legends ever, in MSG, at WMXX? Hells yes.

The guy I buy pot from occasionally was arrested.

Thumbtack, that's the best excuse ever. "I didn't mean to get addicted to heroin! My weed guy got busted, and I had to do SOMETHING!"

    Pronounciation of PURORESU

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I was told that in Japan, when new things come out that only have English words or whatever, they Japanese sometimes take the word, and say it with a thick enough Japanese accent for long enough that it becomes the word. I used to have a list of words like this (Uncle John's Bathroom Reader books - good stuff) but I can't find it. Is that not what happened here? I was under the impression that when wrestling came to Japan, everyone tried to say Pro-wrestle, but due to the Japanese accent, it just kinda melted into puroresu.

    King of Colosseum II

Either that, or they were pointing out that you can't edit specific parts of the face like you can in other games - you can't pick your character's nose, eyes, mouth, etc. You just pick a head, and that's his head, period. This game does look interesting though.

Kill Bill Vol 1, Anime and pedophiles

Yeah...isn't it just normal people who want to see that?

Isn't KoC just a re-done Firepro? Like, Firepro with actual liscences and such? I notice it's made by the same company.

    Big change

I agree, they usually tend to suck....but that doesn't mean they make absolutely no sense, ya know?

    Big change

What I find odd about these types of skits (the whole not knowing there's a camera bit) is that they used to make no sense; but now, with the advent of reality television, where every other show on TV features people being filmed every moment of every day, you'd think people would be more accepting that wrestling does the exact same thing.

Books you can read over and over again....

I think the main reason it doesn't get as much appreciation is because it's so different from Ender's Game - people read Ender's Game, like it, then go to read the second and are all like "the hell?" That happened to me anyway - I still like the book, it's just pretty different.

WWE Wrestlers Upset Over Dress Code Policy...

I like how everyone kinda ignored the fact that Bob Holly isn't the only one complaining - he's just the loudest.

The most overrated albums in your collection

I think you answered your own question. "Why would people like a Metallica album that follows the same formula as their best albums?"

    Best SNES Two-Player Games

YES. That game can be hella fun. Oh, and get The Peacekeepers. It's a side-scrolling beat-em-up, and has the best feature ever: Angry Mode. Esentially, when you get the snot beat out of you, your character can get angry; this means they become invincible and all their moves become much much better. There's nothing more satisfying then getting extremely pissed off because you're getting stomped, and then getting angry and tossing people around the screen like rag dolls. Oh, and you can German Suplex people the length of the screen. Awesome.

    Where's the WWE Folder?

So, is the WWE folder the only one people can get suspended from, or will it spread to other folders should the need arise?

    Is something haunted near you?

That's the only one on the list I've seen, so far as I can tell. It's neat. I know they're missing some though - they have a ghost walk tour here in the summer where this guy walks you around town telling you various ghost stories. There was one about this house that has a large, pitch-black window. I forget what the story is exactly, but I know there's two versions. One involves a father who disapproves of his daughter's boyfriend, so he paints the window black so they can act like they're not home or something. This leads to her killing herself. The other I think involved someone selling his soul to Satan, and that window was where Satan pased through to collect. Same deal as the other window though - gets replaced, then looks just like it did before. Neat site.

    Sequels or Games Never Made...

I'd like to see THQ (they're the ones who made Def Jam Vendetta and the WWF 64 games, no?) make a wrestling game with absolutely no liscences to anything. Just make up about 20-25 wrestlers, put in a HUGE Create-A-Wrestler Mode, and sell the game on that - wrestle as anyone you can possibly imagine. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Books you can read over and over again....

Speaker for the Dead is good, Xenocide is alright and Children of the Mind is worse. They just get into a lot more talking and thinking and stuff - it's still interesting, I think, but not in the same way. You'd be better off to read Ender's Shadow. It's Ender's Game, re-told from Bean's perspective, if you were not aware.

Eddie Guerrero is a grand slam champion...

Someone said that about Benoit, but it's not true. Jericho was WCW Cruiserweight champ before he won the Undisputed title. And if you wanna get picky, you can even point out that Jericho can lay claim to being a former WWE Cruiserweght champ, since that belt is really just the WCW one re-named.

    Japanese scat figurines

I don't think so. I think it's also illegal to show certain body parts.

    No Real Reason...

OH HOLY GOD. I looked at this earlier, and was like, "what the fuck is that thing at the end?" After seeing SP's response, I took another, closer look. IT WON'T STOP MOVING. MAKE IT STOP.

    Japanese scat figurines

I'm unsure of what frightens me more... These figures, or the knowledge that I have seen them before.

    Breakfast from Hell

Thank you for reminding me how funny X-E.com is. "Grover, you think you're embarrassed? I'm 25, and I just spent Monday afternoon reviewing The Monster at the end of this Book."

Pharmacist refuses to sell birth control pills

I find it odd that you say that sarcastically, even though you probably know that the Catholic Church considers it true.
  23. The Metal Maniac

Pharmacist refuses to sell birth control pills

He's not forcing it, really. If they want them, they can go somewhere else and get them. It's inconvient and kinda dickish, sure, but he's not forcing people to stop taking birth control or anything.

    The Da Vinci Code

In Angels and Demons, Robert Langdon, an symbolligist, is called to a research facility to examine a dead man who's been branded with a symbol of the Illuminati. In addition, he learns that this same dead man actually created particles of anti-matter, a highly explosive material, which is now gone. That's the basics of the story. From there of course, he goes to find said Illuminati, and lots of crazy stuff happens. In The Da Vinci Code, Robert Langdon is called to the Louvre to examine a dead man who left some sort of secret code behind. The code eventually leads Langdon on a trail towards the most important secret in the Catholic Church. That's debatable.

    Once again....Ian Robinbson....

You people do all realize that there's like, pretty much no chance in hell Lars is ever leaving that band, right? I mean, maybe if he was just a drummer that they had hired, maybe, but considering that it was him and James who started the band in the first place, I can't see him going anywhere. Besides, if he did, he'd probably sue the beejezus out of the rest of the band (since he has a writing credit on every track they've done except "Motorbreath", if I'm not mistaken) and force them to not be able to use the name Metallica or play any of those songs again. Which actually might not be a bad thing.
