But like I said...he didn't consent to getting shot, he consented to taking part in the ceremony. Like, if I, of my own free will, go to a party somewhere, and a ladder falls on me because someone didn't put it away, I don't even think it'd be a question of assault - reckless endangerment sure, but assault? -
Banky, where are you from, exactly? I'd assumed before that you were from Canada (Mainly from the Bubbles avatar you had a while ago on some board) but where in Canada, exactly? Also, I just noticed that your birthday is exactly one year and one day before mine. I thought that was odd.

My sister has a dog named Kody. He's half-lab, half-rotweiller, fucking huge and a wuss. Odd combination.

But, this guy evidently wanted to join...and thus, wouldn't he have HAD to give them consent? I mean, there's probably a difference between "Go ahead and shoot in the air" and "land a bullet on my head", but hey. I dunno...I just don't think he should be tried for something like assault when this was really just a fucking stupid mistake. -
Student Challenges Rule on Same-Sex Dates

Maybe not with 31 on the nose...but what about 34? 37? 44? More kids in one class means less time for the teacher to help anyone. It's better just to have a limit so that's all avoided. -

Can it really be considered assault, considering that he wasn't even firing at anyone? I mean, yeah, it's dumb, but what's the legal definition for assault? I would think that it'd have to involve some intent to maim or kill, but I don't know the laws (Let alone US ones) that well. -
Keeping in mind that the only band I saw live that I wanted to see was the Misfits... "Dig Up Her Bones" - The Misfits (One of my favourite Misfits tunes. Just awesome.) "Last Caress" - The Misfits (This song was *MADE* by the replacement singer (it wasn't Graves for reasons I don't recall) starting off with "Ok, on this next one, I may need a little bit of help. Think you guys can do it? Here we go....I GOT SOMETHING TO SAY!!" Roof blows off the fucking place. GOLD.)

"LORD, I pound my fists at you Won't you just let me die?" - Iced Earth, "A Question of Heaven" "Was many years ago that I left home and came this way I was a young man full of hopes and dreams" - Iron Maiden, "Stranger in a Strange Land" "But you can only dig your hole six feet Until the dirt comes back on top" - Suicidal Tendencies, "The Feeling's Back"

I thought that the Dreamer Driver was the Emerald Fusion....hmmm. *Never watched Tommy Dreamer wrestle much*

You know, I've often thought you could get some interesting psychology if you had someone who had suplexes as a primary offensive move get their neck worked over for quite some time. Then, later in the match, when they try to hit these suplexes, their opponent takes full advantage of their weak neck. If they go for a german, for example, he could just elbow him in the head and his hurt neck would require him to break the waistlock and sell. This would also work with belly-to-belly's (just club the guy when he grabs him) and a few other suplexes. Fuck, Angle would be great for that.

Having seen few Samoa Joe matches, I believe the Island Driver is an Emerald Fusion. It's basically a sit-out tombstone, only your opponent is kinda hanging over your shoulder, not right in front of you...savvy? (I have no idea why I just decided to use that term). A Muscle Buster is like a double-leg hook sit-down Fisherman's buster. The best way to explain it is this: In this one Red/Jay Briscoe match, Red was on the ropes looking for a Tornado DDT. Jay countered, tucked Red's head under his arm, then grabbed the crook of both of Red's knees, one with each hand. He then pulled Red off the buckles, held him up vertical (So that Red was kinda sammiched - he was basically looking at his knees, if memory serves) then sat down. That make sense?

I don't think it is, because that name doesn't sound familiar... Lemme go look it up... Edvard Grieg, perchance?

I'd like to take this time to point out that I FUCKING HATE THIS MOVE!!! I mean, what the shit? He could just give him a Ki-Krusher and win. It makes little sense, psychology-wise.

I totally forget the composer's name right now, but "In the Hall of the Mountain King". Ahh, fond memories of Astroboy...

Wait, wait... The guy's got AVRIL LAVIGNE in his sig, and you jump on him for Hatebreed and Superjoint?

Thumbtack makes a strong case. See, this is why I need a double-kick, stat.

Ah, trumpets. I recall one day this one trumpet guy claimed that he could do anything I could do. So I grabbed myself a snare and got him some sticks. I started with a few basic rhythms, and he followed that just fine. Then I did a drum roll. He gave me this "you fucking bastard" look and walked away. Good times.

Is that like, double-speak for "it sounds really shitty"?

White Judge Draws Fire for Costume
The Metal Maniac replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Current Events
No it wouldn't. Just because some rock bands incorporate some aspects of rap into their music, that doesn't mean that the entire genre would be non-existant without those few aspects, used by those few bands. That's just silly. -

So...they both suck? *rimshot* Seriously though...I think it's REALLY easy to generalize music like rap & metal, mainly because fans of one genre tend to not see anything but the mainstream of the other. Like, speaking for myself, virtually all the rap I've ever heard IS the whole ghetto, bling-bling stereotype kinda shit. Why? Because that's what they play on TV. Obviously, if I don't like the stuff that's all over the media, I'm not going to go looking for other stuff. It holds no interest. So while there probably IS rap out there that's much more intelligent, it's nothing someone like me has heard of, so pardon my ignorance. Also, while I won't say that rap isn't music, I will say that I think it's a totally different kind of music then heavy metal/rock, and not just in the sense of the genre. Heavy metal tends to focus more on the instruments being played, while in rap, it seems as though the beats are merely a background to whoever happens to be rapping. It's almost like the actual music in rap music is merely an afterthought. I think that alone could qualify metal to be more "musical" (as the music is the key, not the vocals), but again, I freely admit that I'm ignorant and biased (I hate rap, man) so take that for what it's worth. As for the judge guy, while this has been said, a JUDGE should know better. It doesn't matter what his reasons were - he should've known better then that. As for the whole race relations issue...I'll let you guys handle that while I watch from the sidelines. -
A serious look at "The Matrix: Revolutions"
The Metal Maniac replied to a topic in Television & Film
I have a question...why is it that Agent Smith is enough of a threat to the machines that they're willing to grant peace to humans to stop him? Like, obviously the Matrix functioned with him in it...yeah, it may have been all fucked up and not it's original design, but it still worked in the sense that the machines (evidently) still had power. So why was he such a problem for them? -
Personally, I'd say Black Metal fans. Not ALL of them, but the hardcore ones, who seem to think that if you aren't wearing corpsepaint and making weird fucking sounds, you're not "true". They bother me.

To answer them... Donald's sister (Who, to my knowledge, has never been seen in aything) sent the kids to live with Donald for a while, because she was apparantly a terrible parent. Well, OK, I don't really remember why, but I mean, she evidently FORGOT where her friggin' kids are, because she never gets them back.
