Random Hero, please, please, please, PLEASE tell me that you got that joke and just went along with it. Oh, and...um...shit. I don't listen to any brutal metal, really. The most brutal I get is Stormtroopers of Death, but they're probably nothing compared to some of the shit that guys like Agent listen to. So your best bet is to wait for him or Nevermortal or someone to show up.

Yes, Donald was in the navy. There's a few episodes of the show where he's seen working on a navy ship (Though he's generally just mopping the floors.) And he's not an abusive parent, because those ain't his kids.

I think that if your fans are complaining that you sold out (Which metal fans will do at the drop of a hat, I swear) saying that you hate them probably isn't the best way to win them back.

When Rico's climbing the buckles for a moonsault. Jeff is supposed to knock Rico off, but he's in TOTALLY the wrong place, so Rico t-a-k-e-s-h-i-s-t-i-m-e climbing up, yells at Jeff to hurry up, and if I'm not mistaken, he even begins to sell like he's losing his balance to kill time. A side note - STEINER'S BEEN IN THE FED FOR A FUCKING YEAR?

No mention of CRASH on RAW tonight?

They dangled the title in front of him. They didn't hold a gun to his head. -
I thought Barney DID fall off the wagon in one episode...I'm not sure though. I don't watch every episode anymore. Shoot me. I think the Simpson's biggest problem right now is that it's a decent show. It's REALLY not that bad - but it used to be one of the funniest shows there's ever been. I think that simple fact, that it's a shadow of what it was, is what's making people be so critical of it. Like, standing alone (if it were possible) the last few seasons really WOULDN'T be that bad. They only look really bad because of what could've been.

I dunno Dace...I think if the guy was big enough (And really, he'd have to be to even think about doing a spot like that) and if they grabbed onto his wrists or whatever as he lifted (Like in a double-powerbomb) it'd be possible. Maybe not extremely easy, but possible. And yeah Funk, that's about it...It may not be complicated, but I think it'd look neat...

Yeah, it's minor and meaningless, but I felt I'd point that out.

Reading the article, it seems that Wal-Mart is claiming that they didn't know the workers were illegal immigrants. Assuming, just for a second, that this is true, and that they did pay them less wages and such, they should be punished for that, methinks. Now, I'm not saying that they should be paying back wages to illegal immigrants, but perhaps someone should take a look into how these stores are run - if they're willing to fuck those people over, then they could easily be doing it to others. On the flip side though, there's the possibility that they DID know. That's gotta be illegal. Either way, Wal-Mart's kinda boned.

Frankie Kazarian does a top-rope flipping rock bottom, if I'm not mistaken. I can't think of anyone else who does anything like that (Not counting the SAT's 2-man version).

Bumping this thread because while high today, I though up a spot, and I wanted to know if it sounds good to others, or if it was just me being stupid and high... Basically, the attacker does a double-leg shoot, and the victim goes back into a defensive position (IE, arms and hands up in front of face, legs locked for guard). The attacker then hits a few strikes to the sides of buddy's head or whatever, making him drop his arms so the attacker can grab his throat, haul him up and give him a double chokeslam powerbomb, basically. Yeah, sorta contrived, but I think it'd be neat.

I'm still curious as to why Holly being stiff is bad, but Lo-Ki and various other assorted Japanese and independent wrestlers stiff the shit out of everything, and they're practically legends for it.

There are other ways to listen to it? Myself...Iron Maiden - "Futureal"

Buck Fecker. Pass it on. -
I second that. Great show, just great.
-
What does that have to do with the fact that Hardcore is a borderline cruiser?
-
How is Holly repeatedly pushed? He's had like, what, 3 or 4 decent pushes in the just-under 10 years or so he's been with the company. That doesn't seem very repetitive. Besides the obvious fact that his gimmick used to be that he was a hardcore wrestler, (And they've probably kept it on him because Hardcore is a better name for a wrestler then Bob) I'd say the fact that the guy's broken his arm, yet finished the match, is pretty hardcore. Well, of course. I doubt that they were interviewing Big Show to get his opinions on world politics when Big Show suddenly decided to point out that Holly's tough. Besides, being a tough bastard is his GIMMICK. It has been since he first started being Hardcore, and was a big part of it when he was the Big Shot. So why not try to get the gimmick over? Hardcore Holly is six-foot nothing and weighs two hundred and thirty-five pounds. If you're gonna rag on him, rag on him for reasons that make sense. For the record, I think I'm the last living Hardcore Holly mark. Why? Because I really dig his character, and I don't find his wrestling to be horrible. Sure, he's not a great worker, but he's capable. And that dropkick. Not just because it's a really good dropkick, but because he fucking KNOWS IT and poses whenever he does it. I mean, he DROPKICKS someone, then gets up and poses to show how fucking great his dropkick was. I love it.

When her career hits the shitter.

Ok, seriously now...if a wrestler can't wrestle a match without being distracted by fans, then he needs to get the fuck outta the biz. It's EXPECTED that when you wrestle, there's going to be people yelling at you. If you can't handle being yelled at, then you don't belong in the biz. Also, to the person who said that the Hardy incident was proof that RoH fans just want to get themselves over and don't care about wrestling...don't you think, just for a second, that maybe it's only proof that they didn't want to see Jeff Hardy?

For the record, there were doctors who thought that heroin could help cure morphine addicts, too. Which, I guess, in a sense is true - you wouldn't need morphine anymore. And you also don't make much sense. It doesn't harm your body, but if you stick a needle in your arm, THEN it hurts you? Zah? The bottom line is, I think those doctors are nuts. Heroin can kill you the first time you try it. And they wanna claim that it "doesn't harm you"? Yeah, ok.

I think the joke with Hurricane's chokeslam is long-dead. When he tried to chokeslam Big Show, that was funny. When he then tried to chokeslam some cruiserweight, and it worked, that was funnier. Now it's just one of his moves, which doesn't really seem right, as the chokeslam is one of those moves that's pretty much always been a "big man" move in the fed. It'd be like if he starting gorilla-pressing people. It just wouldn't look right.

They don't scout guys well because they feel they don't have to. As far as they're concerned, all they have to do is find a guy with the look. THEN they can train him to wrestle. Here's the worst part...VINCE OWNS THE RIGHTS TO PRACTICALLY EVERY SINGLE MATCH ULTIMO HAD IN AMERICA. It's not like he had to ask anyone...or look for any footage...he OWNS IT. The man has a HUGE number of Ultimo's matches LITERALLY right under his nose, but he couldn't even be bothered to watch a single one, apparantly.

I don't really think you can put a number on how many acid trips you can have before your brain melts. While I'm sure that enough acid trips will turn anyone's brain to mush eventually (Isn't that what happened to Syd Barrett?) I don't think you can set a final number on it. For one guy, it might be 20, but for another, he might be able to drop acid a hundred times or more before his brain becomes mush.

Smarks EZBoard alumni roll call

I always used this name, and...fuck. I don't know exactly WHEN I joined the old EZBoard, but I do believe it was a few months before Witty Banter...because I think I remember him showing up, then a bunch of stuff happening, then the board exploded. I think I remember Witty because I thought his name was neat and he had Homer in his avatar or sig, or something. But I could be wrong. -
To be fair though, he was still getting some cheers then - he was more of a tweener, I'd say.
