Wow, that IE video is awful. That looks like something I woulda directed while really high. And 6 years old. I knew they had that new CD, but I haven't bought it yet...not a big fan of Tim Owens, plus I heard the re-done versions of the Something Wicked Trilogy, and I seriously wanted to punch Schaffer for that. I think I saw it used the other day...I prolly will pick it up when my money situation gets a little better.

Um...what? You can remove fights from hockey and still have hockey games. If you took the wrestling out of Sports Entertainment, what the HELL would they air? Seriously, what would RAW consist of if there were no wrestling matches? The fact that you think like that makes me a little sad. I agree with Jingus on this point: The WWE needs to realize that, as the only large wrestling company in North America, they've got the market cornered on pro wrestling; so why do they keep trying to do other things? Like, seriously, who here watches a wrestling program to *not* see the matches? I'm not saying that the extra stuff is all pointless, but why not try to present the best possible *wrestling* product, instead of trying to present the best action/drama/comedy show on TV? There's a thousand people trying to do that, and NO ONE trying to present wrestling on the same level as WWE.

I've never drunk dialed, but I'll never forget the night that I walked into my friends house, took three steps, and collapsed. About 10 minutes later, I puked. Didn't actually stand up though...just turned my head to the side and watched it spread across the carpet. So nasty.

2 hours for fucking Christmas Mass? Good god. We were out in 55 minutes. It's 1 AM where I am, and though I could sleep, I'm not going to; we just finished dinner, now we're killing time before opening gifts. Yes, my family is weird. Old traditions.

Holy crap, WWE needs to hire a proofreader or something for their website. http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/history/ecwchampionship/ For those who don't wanna bother clicking the link (or miss what's there), the page claims to list all ECW champions - from Superfly Snuka to CM Punk. Which is all well and good, except that their list starts when Shane Douglas threw down the NWA title and declared the ECW belt a world belt. Which means that Superfly Snuka is not on the list. Seriously. How hard is it to not make a mistake like that? "Here is a list from A to Z! We'll start at D!"

I like to have all my CAWS with decent logic, because 70% of what we play here is battle royales, so there's always a bunch of them running around, and it gets annoying to me to see guys do things they *never* do. But again, I just download, so I don't really fuck with it. I do have to tweak some of the guys I downloaded though; I've seen a few odd moves performed, and some guys don't have moves that I know are in the game. Like, unless I missed it, the Abyss I have downloaded does not have the Black Hole Slam. Wassupwitdat?

In fairness, the game is two years old; was the longblower used then? I really don't know.

Question: Do you guys just not bother with setting the CPU logic? I find that can be way more annoying and time-consuming then setting your attributes and moves - or is that what you're referring to? I haven't even bothered with the logic myself really, cuz I got a Max drive, but it can really help your created guys seem more realistic, if done right.

Question for anyone who not only watches The Boondocks cartoon, but has read the comic strip: Are the stories in the cartoons anything at all like what goes on in the strip? I just can't imagine how some of these episodes could be sanitized enough for the Sunday funnies, know what I mean?

Or they could explain exactly why they're there, and exactly what they're doing, in the very first episode. Make for a dull rest of the season, though.

Well, you know as much as the rest of us do on the matter, honestly. Nothing about him is really known for certain to the viewers, but it's still fun to speculate.

Jacob is the Leader of the Others. He gives out all the orders. Yeah, I know that doesn't help much. You must've seen Locke go to his cabin, if you're on the last two hours. My personal theory is that Jacob is a man who is so attuned to the island that he actually went to some sort of higher plane, maybe became a part of the island itself (part of this theory holds that a number of the odd things people see, like Jack's dad and such, is actually Jacob trying to reach out), but as a result, he can't communicate with anyone who's not very attuned to the island themselves - like Ben or Locke. However, I also think Ben is a lying dickhole and he's not really doing what Jacob wants, thus Jacob wants Locke to replace him.

Prohibition and crack (which I believe hit the scene in the 80's), and the resulting crime, probably were factors as well.

When Mike Awesome was ECW champ, I used to watch the shows with a tape in the VCR, and record any upcoming match that looked good. I had a bunch of Awesome/Spike Dudley and Awesome/Tanaka matches, a wicked Tajiri/Super Crazy match, and some other stuff. My dad taped over it a few years back.

Got my copy today. Question for any Canadians out there who picked this up: Is your instruction book in French? I only got one book, and it's fucking French! Kinda annoying. Game still fucking rules though. I can't fucking believe the Canadian Destroyer is in here.

I'm off to EB to see if they got it in yet. I was there a few days ago and they hadn't, but said they'd be getting it today or tomorrow, so I put in a pre-order. I cannot fucking wait for this game.

Hey, I'm curious - in that Santino vid, that move he does with 12 seconds left...how was that sold? Would it just end the match, or cause a kayfabe injury and put the guy out? Looks HARSH.

Ah, yeah, that doesn't bother me. I'll just look up the actual critical moves for wrestlers I'm curious about.

Are you insane? Criticals are the best part of the game. What is this alleged Critical/Finisher issue?

Okay, this makes no sense to me. If you A: Don't like regular radio, and B: Don't really wanna pay for satellite, why would you buy a satellite radio that functions as an MP3 player, when you could've just bought *an MP3 player*, put a bunch of music on it, and listened to THAT? I generally don't give a rat's ass about the radio. We have one popular music station, one alleged classic rock station that plays half the stuff that's on the fucking other channel, and a real classic rock station. That's it.
