Has anyone ever fasted for an extended period of time?

Have you ever been so hungry that you actually threw up? I have. It's a whole new level of unpleasant. If you attempt to go through with this, it will totally suck fucking balls, and in about 2-3 days, you'll wonder why the hell you agreed to do it in the first place. Do it.

So Fire Pro R is back

Potential downsides: The gameplay can be a bitch when you first try it. It's all timing, and before you get the timing, you can't do shit, so it's kinda a pissoff.

    Pizza Hut

I went down to the local Pizza Hut the other day, only to discover that it's no longer a sit-down place anymore; take-out or delivery only. Struck me as rather odd.

    Your first favorite band

I'll admit it: Weird Al. Only music I actually bought until I was in grade 7 or 8 or so. I did like Metallica from an early age however; By grade 4, I knew the words to a couple of their songs. But they were just some band my brother listened to at the time: Weird Al was where it was at, for me. There. Now everyone else can rest assured: Your choice isn't the worst.

    Prison Break

Spiff, I hope you're right. I can kinda see a rationale too...Linc WON'T fuck around if LJ is next, so it makes the brothers have to focus. No trying to free the hostages, just free Whistler. Still strikes me as an odd move on the Company's part, but I'm willing to wait and see before I judge too harshly. Also, part of me is wondering if maybe the Company's endgame is now making Micheal a member of the Company. I know it sounds weird, but it seems to me that the Company is all about threats to keep their people in line - look at Mahone. Perhaps a number of lower-level Company people are being forced into things in this way, with only the higher-ups and some lower-level people being voluntary members. Personally, I think that new girl is being forced to do what she's doing, too. And Micheal is a proven problem-solver, so, they'd obviously consider him a potential asset, I think. Eventually, they could have so much dirt on him (and if Spiff is right, Sarah as well) that he'd have no choice but to do whatever they told him. Bellick's bit was awesome too. I feel so bad for his character. "He told me he was doing me a favour. Next thing I know I'm hog-tied in a pipe under my own prison while that bastard got away."

    Prison Break

I see what you guys are saying, but I still think it wouldn't make sense from the Company's perspective. They can be confident that Michael will do what they want so long as they have Sarah. They can't be confident that Micheal will be more driven to break out on news of her death, or that he wouldn't be told. Too many variables to toss into the mix, especially when they already hold all the cards, you know? Besides, killing Sarah would also send the message that even if they do what the Company says, there's no guarantee they won't just kill LJ anyway. I could see them going the "Lincoln doesn't tell Micheal" route, but I just don't think it would make much sense in terms of the story, know what I mean?

    Prison Break

The Company sending Sarah's head in a box doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Sarah is the company's bargaining chip; she's the REASON Micheal is planning to break that guy out. Sure, they have LJ too, but Lincoln isn't in jail, Michael is. If Sarah is dead because they killed her, do you really think he'd break Whistler out? Knowing that they'd prolly just kill LJ too, whenever they felt like it? I figure it's her hand; the one that was pointing to the town name or whatever on the newspaper.

    Teenage girl is beaten

I should clarify that it was actually more like 5 on 2. His brother was also there, and he did pretty much the same thing. Sorry, I've got a stoner's memory.

    Teenage girl is beaten

I actually read an interesting newspaper article a while back that talked about this; girl-on-girl violence, not this particular case. The claim they were making was close to what some people here are saying; basically, this article claimed that the problem with girl/girl violence, as opposed to guy/guy, is that guys, in general, tend to fight with unspoken rules. Don't kick him while he's down, don't go for the balls, don't gouge out his eyes, etc. Girls, they claimed, simply do not do that. They have no rules. They pull hair, scratch, bite whatever. An interesting theory, I think, but I'm not entirely sure how much stock I place into it. I can see it being the truth though. Hell, I know a guy who got beat up by about 5 girls once. He refused to fight back, morally, so they just kept hitting him as he attempted to walk away. Like, I can't fathom that. How the fuck do you fight someone, 5-on-1, who's not even fighting back? Fucked-up.

2007: Most disastrous year in WWE history?

Off topic a little, but... That may be true, but you need to consider how often things don't go the way they want them to. Look at Cro-Cop. If UFC was fixed, he woulda knocked Gonzonga out in the exact same way Gonzonga knocked him out, because Mirko Cro-Cop is a *name* fighter. You don't think they wanted HIM in the main event? Cuz you're wrong, if you don't. Same goes for Shamrock/Tito. If it was fixed, would it have been 3 and 0? Fuck no. Shamrock woulda won a hard-fought re-match, so people would've *cared* about the rubber match, and it would've made $$$. As it is, wasn't it just on Spike?

I'm thinking the walled-up guy, who was passing out notes, is probably the guy the company wants out. Perhaps the woman who recieved the note works for the Company as well, and it's just how he communicates with said Company? I think Teabag's plan is going to be just to get information. Teabag knows that Scofield is his only way out, but he also knows Scofield won't break him out...voluntarily. I figure Teabag will attempt to get his hands on something critical, so that Scofield needs him. Easiest way to do that? Cozy up to the boss and keep your ears open. Or he could be planning a coup. The guy is a total fucking psychopath.

    Alberta Bound.

Potentially something slightly different then. Donairs as they are out here are basically like, gyros, except someone fucked with the recipe and made them into something a little different. Perhaps something similar happened out there? I know for a fact though that they're not as common out in Alberta, unless things have changed since I was last out there. Practically every pizza place in Nova Scotia also sells donairs.

So what do you think about The Undertaker?

Undertaker was my absolute favourite wrestler since I started watching wrestling in about 93, until somewhere around 2001 or so, maybe. Not that I ever stopped liking him, but I just started liking others more. But back in the day, anyone who was wrestling Undertaker was instantly my most-hated wrestler. I DESPISED Yokozuna for the longest time, because of that Casket match. I'd say he does need to actually like, put people over, but I still think he's not as bad as some people - he may win virtually all his feuds, but at least they're rarely title feuds. He's only been champ what, 5 times now, in 17 years of being a main eventer? Could be worse. And he still seems capable of entertaining people, so I see no harm in giving him one last title run.

    Alberta Bound.

Dude, if you think the donairs out there are the best things you've ever tasted, you *need* to go to Nova Scotia and get a real donair. Hell, the only reason they have donairs out there is because so fucking many Maritimers move out there. Hell, in Fort McMurray, a few years ago, they had fucking Newfoundland Television!

WWE General Discussion - September 2007

Are half the people on this board gonna be parading around on national TV with no shirt on when they're in their mid-50s?

    Wrestlemania 24

Though I don't think it'll happen the way angles are going currently, I'd really like to see Edge defend the WHC at WM against Kennedy, who wins the Rumble to be in the main event of WM 24, just like he already said he was gonna be, and challenges Edge, the man who tried to take it away from him.
  19. The Metal Maniac

Who would you prefer winning at SSlam?

Cena. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Cena, and I think he's boring as hell. That said, I fucking HATE Randy Orton. I've never seen any reason for him to get pushed a thousand times, despite somehow fucking it up every time. Oh wow, he kicks people in the head, I CAN DO THAT FER FUCKSAKES.

    Really crazy, screwed up musicians.

I'm aware of his alias, though I was not aware that he handled bass for a little bit in Mayhem. I thought that he only really did Burzum. On further inspection though, I'm seeing (in some places) that he's credited as a "session" bass player. Live and learn.

Seriously Milky, how do you have Mayhem on there, and not Varg Vikernes? He's the dude that stabbed the dude from Mayhem.

    Funniest/Best Indy Moments You've Seen

Joe E. Legend, shortly after his very short WWF run as Just Joe, was wrestling for a local promotion. During his promo, I started a "rumour has it *clap clap clapclapclap*" chant. A minute or two after it died down, Joe said something to the effect of "Because you see Kingman, RUMOUR HAS IT..." while looking in our direction. It was awesome. I dunno if this was the same night, but we also once got him to do a Mexican Hat dance around a sombrero one of my friends brought. Then it got signed by half the roster. I didn't actually see this exchange with my own two eyes, but I heard about it through a friend who was in the match. Some fan was bad-mouthing Flex Falcone, and Flex said something about the kid's mom. "My mom's dead, asshole!" "Yeah, CUZ I RAMMED HER!" Holy shit, did that dude ever shut up. But the best thing I've ever seen in an indy show was something I personally witnessed, first-hand, from about 3 feet away. I was reffing, and it was a Last Man Standing match for the promotion's title. There was a couple of neat bits in the match, such as a ceiling tile being knocked down (the roof was pretty low for a wrestling ring). That in and of itself wasn't neat, but when JDL managed to counter a powerbomb by actually reaching up into the hole in the ceiling and grabbing some pipes, preventing him from being powerbombed, that was. But that wasn't the best part. The BEST part was the finish, which saw a double-underhook piledriver onto the title belt which, I shit you not, BROKE THE RING. It didn't collape like Lesnar/Big Show, but there was a very audible crack. When I moved into position to make the count, I realized I was actually standing in the hole. Fucking insane. There were some funny comments made backstage as well. "You're not getting paid. You should pay me! You broke my ring!" "I didn't break the ring! It was HIS head!"

    What if? (Historical Events version)

You sure about that? All the info I've seen says that Europeans brought horses with them to North America, and that while horses did live in North America millions of years ago, they all left, or died, and there were none left on the continent by about 10,000 years ago. Also: Guerilla warfare doesn't work so well when your shitty musket can barely hit a target 30 feet in front of you. Kind of hard to shoot at someone from a hiding place when you had no guarantee you could hit them even if you weren't behind a tree.

    Ask Milky.

Does this seem odd to anyone else? Also, since I'm here anyway: Milky, what's the single stupidest thing you can personally recall seeing on this board?
