Saba Simba, who was obviously Tony Atlas. Roddy Piper didn't need to point it out. The Gobbeldy Gooker, originally played by Hector Guerrero Fur Face, aka Run in Man. Brutus Beefcake in a weird ass mask from where he had his boat accident. Tracy Smothers as Freddie Joe Floyd Savio Vega as Kwang the Ninja Hakushi with all them cool as tatoos and jobbing to Barry Horowitz to get the feud with Candido over Max Moon, originally played by Konnan and then Paul Diamond got the gimmick. He was a douchebag with a jetpack that didn't work. Bruce Pritchard doing Dusty Rhodes parody Reo Rogers Well Dunn. Made the Rockers look like Razor Ramon on the machismo scale. Jim Neidhart under a mask as Who.

I have to agree with MM on that one. Just look at all the tag matches they had at Wrestlemania III. You can throw in Sheik and Volkoff, The Dream Team, The American Express, the Rockers, the Powers of Pain, the Orient Express, Power and Glory, the Conquistadors and the Bolsheviks,

Payne used the same movie in the WWF as Rock, it was called the Whammy Bar and he briefly feuded with Bob Backlund, because the old man hated rock music. There was also Rad Radford, who had a similar gimmick. I just used Phantasio in the wrestling link thread. He a cross between a clown and a mime and his finisher was the magic wedgie. Damien Demento. Hometown: The inner reaches of your mind. Jimmy Jack Funk was always a favorite. Why the fuck did he wear a mask.

but he was the Amazing Kendall in the NWA briefly, and the WWF had magician PHANTASIO also briefly.

I saw Dusty hit a dropkick once, that was freaky shit.
-
Dusty was a bit different, he had his own language, Dusty-ese. BLACK JACK MULLIGAN appeared to be fluent in it from a recent DVD I just bought.
-
who was really just his no talent big tittied wife, a role now held by DEBRA.
-
but it wasn't a Love Gun, like the KISS DEMON had for a finisher
-
who threw in the towel for the faces when BRIAN PILLMAN got smashed into the cage roof during Wargames to improvise a finish.

Hmm....I think the usage of the word "nigger" was down.

The Prince bit was really funny, but when they went back into the house and he served them pancakes it became motherfucking, super ass funny. And I like that Charlie admitted that Prince whipped his ass. If they can maintain this level with these stories it will help make this one of the best sketch comedy shows ever.

The Shirley Temple joke was about the weakest damn thing I've ever seen on the show.
-
"And then his wife put her titties in my hand. It was weird." -GOLD!
-
and he was the YETI too.

Hogan was still in the AWA when he appeared in Rocky III and it made him a mainstream name, but in no way affected the way he could related to live crowds and other elements that DC expertly pointed out.

Smoking Gunns Question
WrestlingDeacon replied to Only The Strong Survive's topic in General Wrestling
At the first KotR JR on commentary talks about how Billy Gunn went to college at Sam Houston State on a rodeo scholarship, if memory serves. Someone correct me on that. -
I think QL was a midseason replacement. I'd have to check that out. We've been tracking this in my column on 411 lately and I'll have to pass this info on. That price tag is a killer though.

Smith was supposed to have written, produced or directed about two dozen films in the past decade. Wasn't he supposed to be making Fletch Won next? I'll believe this one when I see it in the theaters.

I bought it at Best Buy right when it came out. I'm not really a big Foley fan, but I loved the Flair DVD. This is equal as far as the production values and all the stuff they have on there. I would say this set is a must for Foley fans, especially for those who only know him from the WWE. There's a lot of matches and promos from the his ECW and WCW runs that I hadn't seen before or seen in ages that were really neat.

ah, where there's a different way to go. Dean certainly wasn't cool when he lost a catch as catch can match to KIDMAN by sliding out of the ring, when touching the floor made you lose.
-
I got it from the Wal-Mart cheapie bin too. I have't watched it yet and it's been years since I've seen it.

Disney had been in association with Henson Productions since right before his Jim's death. I think the plan was for them to buy the company out at that time, but son Brian backed off upon his dad's death. Really, this is no biggie as they've been hand and in hand for years now.

let's link SICK BOY, I don't think we've used him in ages.
-
You own Gordon Gekko? I interviewed Jake once and he told me that when he first started the gimmick, he didn't keep the snake, but then he learned how to handle and train them and all that stuff for the gimmick and started keeping them. When I interviewed him '99 he said he had about five at that time, including Damien and Revelations.

And who did you drop it to Ced. ME! Oh yeah! However, we will not speak of who I dropped it to, but then again I pretty much just used the damn belt as a coaster.
