C'mon guys, I know Lost Boys. I didn't think that was it. It said they thought it was vampires, but they weren't. And I don't remember anyone in Lost Boys draped in the American flag. I figured these would be tricky. Thanks for the attempts.

Yeah, I've seen some early Ronnie Garvin where he wasn't bad at all. And even in his later year you could tell that he knew how to work a crowd and put a match together. Luger is an odd duck. The farther he went in the business, the more time passed, the worst he got. I've seen some of his Florida stuff and he was a pretty passable power wrestler. Then when he got to the NWA he was pretty good until the time they finally put the title on him when Flair left. He put on quality matches that I've seen with the likes of Flair and Windham.

They tease that finish, but I don't think I've ever seen it. I always thought it would be lame to get the pin off the figure four, yet inventive.

who first entered the WWF by getting a fluke win over RAZOR RAMON.

I don't know if you can totally exclude El Gigante in that. He got a fairly good push in both WCW and WWF. He was one of Sting's buddies against the new Horsemen in WCW and he feuded with the Undertaker in the WWF. Yeah, Bossman will suprise you if you go back and check out some of his stuff pre jumping back to WCW. Bossman vs. Barbarian at Royal Rumble '91 is like a *** match, no joke. And I don't see how you can even mention Piper. He was one of the best workers the WWF had in the '80's and I can name a handful of his matches that are easily **** like against Bret at Wrestlemania VIII and the dog collar match with Greg Valentine at the first Starrcade. Two totally different styled matches too. To throw in a new name, I'd say Ron Simmons. He only got the WCW title put on him because he was black at a time they were accused of racial discrimination. He and Butch Reed were actually decent as Doom once they got the hang of working with each other, but he's never impressed as a singles.

All of those Stings were in different Sting attire from over the years too. Sgt Pepper Sting was always a favorite of mine. Another thing with the Warrior is the slight name changes over the years from Dingo Warrior, to Ultimate Warrior to Warrior. Also, Kerry Von Erich was known as "the Modern Day Warrior" and I've heard that he filled in for the Warrior during a couple house shows when he first left the WWF do to him already being advertised and Von Erich having a very similar look to his at that time. Not sure how truthful that is. A lot of marks also swear up and down that the Undertaker has died and/or that Kane was the original Undertaker or one of the replacement Undertaker's which you can write off to the whole "Underfaker" storyline, Mark Calloway's appearance changes over the years and that time he pretended to be Kane to get at Austin.

Need some more help with identifying a movie. The lipstick thing sounds familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. Any help would be useful. Thanks. 1) "Okay, I remember watching a zombie movie in the 9th grade. It was a bunch of teenagers who broke into a house or something for Halloween (trite, yes), and then they start becoming the zombies after something infects one of them... not sure. I just remember a chick zombie getting naked and drawing on herself with red lipstick. It was weeeeird shit, but I had a good laugh. Do you know the name of that one? I've been trying to rack my head forever to find the title."

thanks for the info guys. You're great help as always.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Dusty Rhodes' vignettes when entering the WWF. They showed him working all American jobs and talking about great they were. My favorites were the ones where he worked at the taco hut and the butcher. "You can beat my prices, but you can't beat me meat."

I don't plan on buying TEW at this time, nor do I really have the time with everything else to do HSW. I wish I did. That was so fun. Anyway, CW also tags often with STEVE CORINO in Japan

Since last night's episode was filled with misses that they didn't go with, I figured it would be good to relive some of the best sketches of the show. List your favorites. Here are some of mine. Blind White Supremacist: One of the most ingenius sketches I have ever seen on a show. It was clever, edgy, poignant and plain funny. Being on the first show it set the perfect tone for the rest of the series. Rick James: I know this will be tops on most lists. I think being based on a true story and having Charlie Murphy and Rick James going back and forth on events helps to flesh it out. Chapelle's Rick James impression is awesome and the skit is filled with lines that my friends say all the time like "I'm Rick James bitch" and "Fuck your couch." I have to give honorable mention to the Prince story too. World Series of Dice: This one just grew on me the more I saw it. It's got funny characters, a beginning, middle and end and a great exit bit. Leonard Washington is one of my favorite characters because he's different from the other strung out drug addicts and comes off like a blaxsploitation ghetto cool pimp. R. Kelly videos: The best part is that the songs aren't that bad. You can sing along and they get stuck in your head. Very funny visuals make it too. Reparations: Another very clever and funny bit that revels in stereotypes in order to make fun of them. Introduced the world to Tron who I liked a lot better here than when he later turned into a crazier copy of Tyrone Also, my favorite characters: Silky Johnson Leonard Washington Tron Stinky the Dog (and most anything by Charlie Murphy) the guy who dances the robot and "holla atcha ya'" man

That's gotta be horseshit. Benoit stole his wife, fer chrissakes. And to put ther icing on the cake, it was Kevin Sullivans fault. How was Benoit stealing Sullivan's wife, Sullivan's fault? Yah putting her with Benoit might not have been samrt but Benoit was fully in the wrong in this situation. How it is usually termed as Sullivan's fault is because he forced the two to "live the gimmick" and basically wound up booking his own divorce. In order to get the angle over he made Nancy and Benoit travel together, eat together, even stay in the same hotel room together. He made them be together all the time and told them to act all lovey dovey in public. You put two people in a situation like that and nature is bound to take it's course.

The best was Paul Jones making it look like he was handing a guy a pair of brass knuckles and he wasn't handing the guy anything at all, they were just pantomiming it. At Heroes of Wrestling I remember the popular foreign object looked like a house trailer window crank wrapped in athletic tape.

Yeah, that was Bill Dundee as Sir William JJ Dillon had a penny loafer. Mr. Fuji used powder a lot too. The Genius had a scroll. Liz while a heel with the Horsemen had a loaded purse and high heeled shoes as did many other female managers. I want to say Gary Hart used to use his belt.

The South Park and Chappelle's Show Thread
WrestlingDeacon replied to Angel_Grace_Blue's topic in Television & Film
Showing an episode full of crappy rejected skits is not the best idea ever. The gay KKK is one of the most offensive things I have ever seen. The playa haters time traveling is actually a horrible idea, never cross genres like that. I did like Silky explaining the Jeffersons to the slaves. And I don't remember Beautiful being so gay in the original sketch. I loved the "let me holla atch ya'" guy. Him and Charlie Murphy are my two favorite people on the planet right now. -
Thank you very much for the help guys. I really appreciate it and will root around to see what else I can find about other movies the songs might have used on.

Here's the question: "Was the song that was played during the opening credit sequence of True Romance used in another film? I remember the film was, like True Romance, about a couple who killed a bunch of people, but I can't remember it and its killing me. thanks." It's been years since I've seen True Romance and my memory of it is actually pretty shotty. The song is right on the tip of my brain, but I can't remember it. I'm sure as soon as I know the song I can figure out the rest, but all info in appreciative. That way I don't have to go out and rent the film, although I probably should.

I watched some old WWF circa '93 awhile back myself and I have to say that the Headshrinkers were stiff as hell too. I remember one match with PJ Walker (Justin Credible) and Aaron Ferguson. They got tired of beating on Walker, threw him over the ropes, grabbed Ferguson by the side of his head, drug him in the ring and then beat the shit out of him. I can't remember if I've ever seen any Headshrinkers vs. Steiners matches from that period, but I bet they were brutal.

Both Tony and JR were very good when starting out in the NWA and a lot of that has to do with working opposite Bob Caudle and learning how to properly call matches. It was only later when they were pressured by the power that be to shill everything and put the stars over in a certain way that they went on the downhill slide. One of the most underrated teams was Heenan, Savage and Vince from the first RAWs. They had surprisingly chemistry and were very entertaining. I remember that jobber Tony DeVito was on the show and Vince said he was the cousin of Basil DeVito like that was a great thing and Randy said that Basil owed him ten bucks and Heenan though he was the cousin of Danny DeVito. They messed more with McMahon than sniping at each other and it was a neat way to go. One of the funniest thing I ever hear JR say was shortly after he came to the WWF and was doing Wrestling Challenge with Gorilla. He called Tatanaka's finisher "the Papoose to Go" like that was it's real name.

that show was awesome. DR. DEATH STEVE WILLIAMS, played Lyle Alzado while he was in the ring. And I know Dr. Death has met up with the Warriors in the ring more than once.
