From the site: Unlimited, unrestricted gameplay. Play 16 popular pricing games. Hear announcer audio and theme music. Earn achievement trophies. Compete against up to 4 players. My version is better because it supports 64 players but only 4 can play a pricing challenge and 1 person gets to do a game. The other 63 may call him "gay" or something, which is seriously totally awesome.

The weak point is that not everyone gets to play. But that's actually a plus, because you feel really special if you get chosen. Edit: SPINNING THE WHEEL WOULD RULE

Yup. It was Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn if it was a Wii game. If it was a DS game, there's about 20 of those all of a sudden, and they suck if they are not named Disgaea.

Just dinged 70 last night. Working on my flying mount, and have an invite to a guild that's about my speed.

I think that King of Fighters Maximum Impact (2) does a better job of fulfilling the promise of entry level fighter. I agree with you in principle, but somehow Soul Calibur just pisses me off.
-
Soul Calibur stopped being a respectable fighting game starting with 2. It's a game for people who can't play Tekken.

It's been a hell of a long time, IL. Way to go.

Well, there's your tournament. It's a 12 person race on Mario Circuit (you vs 11 CPU), with a little twist added to the track. Goal is to post your fastest time, and then submit it to WFC.

T'ain't nay tournaments ta speak of, yae. Are the tournaments all just Nintendo-ran (and only every once in a while)? Yup.

You can use a flash drive of MP3's, but you cannot move them to the HD. The only legit way to get music on the HD is to rip from an audio CD.

Hey, speaking of Anime/Manga, is anyone here planning on attending Fanime 2008, in San Jose? Fanime Web Site

Yeah, it was alright, but Bosch again? Blah. I don't recall him ever doing psychotic, though, so I wonder how well he can pull that off. Bosch can do no wrong by me. He was the sole highlight of a generally piss-poor AX 2007.

BRILLIANT IDEA: Game lets you send messages to people registered as Wii Friends to add you as a Mario Kart Friend. The message auto-includes your Friend Code.
-
Reminder: ADD YOUR MARIO KART WII CODES! Mine is 1934-1070-1744.
-
Be sure to post your Mario Kart Friend codes in the Wii Numbers thread.

Do you play anything on XBLA? I wonder if you'd like Catan, or Carcassone, or Ikaruga, or stuff like that.
-
Do you feel like you're burned out on gaming in general? Or just nothing you want to play? If you don't like the 360 controlle, but you like FPS, why not game on a PC?
-
Allow me to answer this for you: Most, if not all fighting games, support the Classic and Gamecube Controllers (Guilty Gear, DBZ, Mortal Kombat). The Wii Remote and Nunchuck just don't work for a lot of games (attacks in MK are mapped to the d-pad... how in the heck... and Guilty Gear has terrible controls because you're SUPPOSED to play with a traditional controller)

Couldn't agree more with the sentiment. My mom can play - and excel - in Wii Sports. It's nice to have her included. But do you personally feel that your gaming needs are met by the Wii? As for me, Smash is great since they fixed the online last week, and there are enough hardcore titles to keep me going. *BUT* I find that most of my gaming time is spent on the 360. I got the 360 version of GH3 instead of the Wii version because of the promise of DLC. I'll most always get the 360 version of a multiplatform game (exceptions: I'd get the Wii versions of Bully and Godfather if I were to get them). IF I didn't own a 360, I'd still game a lot on the Wii. I'm just saying that I own both, and where my time goes.

God, why did Card Fighters DS have to suck. I originally got a DS just to play that; but then I discovered all kinds of great games. And then Card Fighters DS comes out and sucks. Ah well.
-
My troubles were fixed recently; it was a Nintendo issue, and I don't have the issue any more. Have you tried playing recently? And can you play with Friends otherwise?

I will admit that Victorious Boxers is somewhat fun, and is probably great two player, but if you're a fan of the manga series it's based off of, and you play story mode, you won't be happy Never read a manga in my life, so I'll check it out. Thanks. The Spectrum has every chapter of Hajime No Ippo (manga in question) ever written. We're on chapter 809, and each chapter is about 15 pages. Have fun with that. Alternatively, you can watch the anime of it, which, combined with the two movies they did, takes you to about halfway through the series. Anime is 75 eps long. (Anime is called Fighting Spirit in America)

H'm. Loving someone who did nothing but treated me well, coddled me, pampered me, and taught me joy is "pretty fucked up?" All right. In that case I admit that I am "pretty fucked up." Do you have anything more important to say? I'm not asking anyone to NOT judge me. You can all judge me however you please. But the FACT of the matter is that I am not and never have been a "whore," that the lady who took my virginity did not need her money to buy my body because I went to her willingly, and that I was not taken advantage of, abused, or otherwise mistreated in any way. Is that really so difficult to accept? Eh. Whatever you say.
