No, but the Xbox and GameCube era is. Actually, I was surprised Madden 08 came out on those systems at all. Although Madden got games on PS1 well into the PS2's lifetime.

Pfft. I said that the first time I saw that on Heat months ago, but it's not supposed to be Lucha. He's just trying to be like an old school wrestler (see Matt Classic), which is even more awesome. The announcers kill it because they keep calling it Lucha and act confused, and when I saw it live in LA the night before No Way Out, the crowd has no reaction whatsoever (I gathered a lot of confusion). He just needs to do lots of moves like hammerlocks, scoop slams, atomic drops, and the dreaded trapezius claw.

I see that Taiga Star has been placed in the gulag.

I wish I could get the same amusement from this as you guys are, but we've done stuff in the SWF chatroom that was way more messed up/funnier than this. Well, maybe like two or three things. (Wait, what?) I guess no one ever visits the SWF boards, because I probably would never hear the end of it from anyone if people saw what I did that day. Then again, are you guys still doing wacky stuff down there? I've been retired for years, and don't lurk like I used to. And yes, I am asking you because I know you're reading this thread because it delivers. Shit guys, turn this thread into an ad for the SWF. Most exposure it's gotten in a while. -

God, if nothing else, sheer entertainment. -
Some things never change.

I guess why the other games work online is because they're not as popular/consume as many resources. Because Nintendo's online is effed, I think.

I haven't been able to play "With Anyone" in weeks. I am convinced my Router is set up perfectly, and I've even been on two calls with Nintendo. I also know there are others who have no problems playing online. I can play on WiFi aganist random people in other DS and Wii games I own, too. So I don't know where the problem is, but I'm getting so annoyed. The worst part is is that I don't ever get error codes playing "With Anyone", it just tries to connect forever and never finds a match. Anyone else in the same boat, or formerly in the same boat?

Sticky the Wii Number thread. In addition, maybe track down the Xbox Live Gamertags thread, and the PSN Screennames thread (Was there a PSN screennams thread?) and sticky those. Since the Wii Number thread is basically my responsibiliy, I'll do my best to keep it up to date. Whoever does the Xbox Live Gamertags thread, would be nice if there was organization such that all tags were on the first post (If it isn't that way already) If need me, I'll freaking do the Xbox tags too. Maybe let me redo the DS numbers thread if I have time and people give a shit.

I like it so far. The open-world isn't as bad as some have made it out to be.

The router in this case is ICS + the hub. It's also true you don't have any way to mess with those settings, either.
-
Im not using a router. usb evdo modem plugged into old computer running ICS that has a ethernet hub attatched which is what im using to run the whole network here (2nd computer, Nintendo, Directv reciever and my laptop). If ICS can route packets, then you are in fact, running a router. However, I have crap tons of trouble doing With Anyone these days. Could be Nintendo's fault.

It has a lot of inputs, but a response time of 8ms makes me sad. I also can't tell if it has a game mode, which would be a deal-breaker for me.

There is a thread called Wii Numbers. Please to be using it.

I don't have the Puff, but I fought a friend who did on WiFi. Rest OHKO'd me, I had about 60-70% at the time, I think.
-
I sent the first level I made to some of you. Whaddya think? Remember, you have to be Smash friends AND Wii friends to share data.
-
LIES AND SLANDER. Let's play tonight, now that I have my guy (Falcon) unlocked.

I think everyone who is having lag problems should try putting their Wii in the DMZ. Doesn't necessarily fix everything, but I have noticed a sharp downturn in lag.
-
I put my Wii in my router's DMZ, and lag improved a lot. Try it if you're still having problems.

It will display in whatever your TV is capable of displaying in its native resolution.

I got out of it. Just hit the switch to light up the room.

Looks like you don't have your regular 16 digit Wii number listed, can you post it so I can add it? Smash won't let two users send stuff like stages to each other unless they are Smash Friends AND Wii Friends, If I recall correctly. P.S. Still a tool.
-
For those of you (including me) who don't like the lag during WiFi: Nintendo's servers are swamped (this is also responsible for your 85010 disconnect errors). Give it some time; things will get better.

I'm adding the numbers as I see them. But late nights, or during work, my ability to update the front page is limited. I will endeavor to get them all, but if I miss one, gimme a poke.

This goes in the Wii numbers thread.
