I'll reserve my excitement for a week or so.

I came in here to ask the same thing. This is very, very frustrating. Edit: First base can be awarded on a catcher's interference? Never seen that before.
-
I'd be amazed if any finish over the course of the year tops that one. My goodness.
-
Tied at 2 so far. Figures that we'd match up on both Monday Night games.
-
Is it just me or did the Aztecs' runningback have the ball past the goal line before he fumbled it?
-
Terrible call in the Washington/BYU game, as the Huskies QB is charged for excessive celebration after having done not much of anything - and then the extra point that would have tied the game is blocked. Horrible, awful, game costing decision. Edit: Man, you guys are quick.
-
Oh man. If the Bobcats pull this off, work on Monday is going to be hilarious.
-
Great, now I won't be able to watch a Vikings game without hearing the tortured warbling of that emo dwarf.

Mets stole one today. Niese's start was even worse than his line indicates and it was really only a couple errors and a bunch of stranded baserunners on Milwaukee's part that kept New York alive. Bullpen was excellent, but since they had to pitch seven innings here's hoping Good Ollie is the one that shows up tomorrow.

Double good news! Mets back in the International League and the Clippers back with a decent affiliation. What with Columbus getting a new stadium next season, going to Clippers games might actually not be a chore anymore.
-
I can't. What a complete defensive failure on UCLA's part.
-
Never mind! Yeah, this turned into a pretty decent game.
-
That ridiculous face mask penalty earlier in the drive probably cost UCLA the game.
-
That ill-advised fourth down attempt earlier in the game might end up sinking Rutgers today.
-
Ah, there's that old Gagne magic. Woke up a sleeping Mets offense to the tune of three runs on one out so far.

Important week for the Mets, as they not only have three games against the Phils but must first deal with the Brewers in Milwaukee. That series becomes a little more difficult considering the Brew Crew's efficiency against left-handed pitching and the fact that the Mets are sending three lefties up against them, including Jon Niese in what will be his first major league start.
-
Quite the meltdown for Kevin Gregg. Not that I'm complaining. Edit: And the Mets almost piss away the stunning comeback. Christ almighty.

Daniel Murphy picked a heck of a time to break out of his slump.
-
Shoot. I had come in here to make essentially the same post.
-
I was clearly mistaken when I called the loss to the Pirates the most embarrassing game of the year.
-
If the Mets win this game Heilman deserves a medal of some sort.
-
I disagree. Not to be crass but his BUTT looked like it was in foul territory.
