    Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Luigi is much, much more fun to play in this game than in Melee or 64. His taunts and his Final Smash are amazing. Bang bang~! Besides him, I'm having a lot of fun with Dedede, Olimar and Lucas, who I find waaaaaaay better than Ness.

    Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I was going to go to the tournament and buy the game at midnight, but since the city is under a Level freaking Two Snow Emergency, I'll pass. Gonna have to wait until Sunday to buy it, I guess.
  4. Sorry. Forgot about time zones, haha.
  5. Cool, Christian won Project Runway. It's good to see my favorites finally winning the Bravo reality shows, what with that and Hung winning the last Top Chef.

Moises Alou is going to be out four to six weeks with a hernia surgery. Can't say I'm surprised or even upset.

    Raw 3.3.08

I dunno. Could be a satisfying angle if Show ends up on top. Don't see that happening, though.

Jobber took a hell of a bump at the end there.

    NFL Offseason Thread

I'm well aware. Woody is still a significant upgrade and would be the fourth member of a solid line comprising of Ferguson, Mangold and Faneca.

    NFL Offseason Thread

God damn! Jets aren't messing around this offseason. The offensive line is basically set now. Whatever cap space they might have had is definitely gone. Really curious to see what direction they go in the draft now.

    Spring Training 2008

I'm confused about the series the Red Sox and Athletics are going to have in Tokyo. I thought they were going to count as regular season games, but I looked at both teams' schedules today and saw that they're both having exhibition games after returning to the states. If the Japan series counts, the scheduling seems very, very strange.

The thought of never again seeing that hideous streak of red chin fur is almost too much to bear.

What's to finance? A set of undersized matching t-shirts and these guys are ready to go. I seriously doubt they're getting paid besides free tickets, and the value of those are pretty low at this point.

I can't help but laugh at the songwriters for Enchanted. They had a 60% chance!

    Wii

So, does that mean barebones service will continue to be free and that additions like, I dunno, voice chat will cost more? I wouldn't mind if that's the case since I only play for the barebones anyway.

    Be Kind, Rewind

Well, the main difference to take into account is that Be Kind, Rewind might actually be funny whereas I was considering jamming scalpels into my eyes and ears after a minute of that clip.

Which is a very real concern. Still, if they're not able to lock up Perez (which looks likely, as everything I've read points to him testing the free agent market after this year), they'd still have three respectable starters (I'm holding out hope that Pelfrey can pass for a number five by then). Given the amount of pitching talent available in next year's off-season, it'll be expensive but not impossible to maintain a solid rotation.

    Spring Training 2008

True, but it's a risk I'd be willing to take. Another season like 2007 and he'd easily command thirteen to fifteen million on the open market.

    Spring Training 2008

Ryan Howard wins his arbitration case for $10 million, tying the previous record set by Alfonso Soriano. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3256452 Oliver Perez's arbitration case is going to be heard today. If he had any agent besides Scott Boras I'm convinced he would be signed to a long term deal by now.
