I just watched Cinematic Titanic's first offering, The Oozing Skull. It's not great. Very few of the jokes elicit more than a snicker or a giggle. Five people riffing on it is way too much - Josh and Mary Jo are silent throughout about 90% of the film and really don't add much at all. The bits where they pause the film to do little skits are completely unfunny and are a poor substitute for host segments. It doesn't help that those bits are the only breaks between the riffing. There's no intro or outro to describe the concept or introduce the riffers - they just jump right into the movie. It's worth pirating and watching once, but I wouldn't spend any money on it.

Absolute bargain.

I'm more offended that they couldn't come up with a more clever design, to be honest.

There's a new one? I didn't realize. Does it continue where the main storyline left off or start a new one?

As long as the windows are tinted, why not?

Minor league? I know the guy isn't exactly a worldbeater, but I thought he'd be able to break into the back end of someone's rotation.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23148197/site/21683474/ Cuh-lassy. I'm familiar with the area in which this allegedly occurred and I can tell you that it's not a good idea to gay bash in that particular section of town. The homosexuals in the Short North don't put up with any shit.

dominate - v. - rule, manage, control, dictate to, subject, subjugate, tyranize, have one's own way, have influence over, domineer, bully, walk all over, boss, keep under one's thumb; see also GOVERN. This doesn't really work for thesauruses.

Dunno if this should be here or in the Music folder, but Amy Winehouse's reaction to winning Record of the Year was pretty amazing. I hope someone got a screencap.

I'm kinda pissed. I beat the game and chose the non-real ending ('cause, y'know, I wanted to see both), not realizing that I wouldn't be allowed to return to the game afterwards. Now I can't find a way to return to that file to choose the real ending, meaning that I'm going to have to beat the game to experience it. If any of you guys can point something out that I'm missing here, I'd really appreciate it.

If you wander beyond the outerbelt in pretty much any direction, there's tons of truck stops filled with every manner of manufactured food product, radio equipment, and all sorts of tacky cheap novelties. Basically the perfect place to go if you're taking part in a cheap Secret Santa.

I'm surprised someone here hasn't mentioned Hawk Harrelson's contract extension yet. http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune....lson-exten.html

Well damn, that story came full circle pretty quickly.

Two strange goals for Rick Nash tonight - the first came in the first period when he broke up a pass while the Jackets were down two men and managed to turn it into a breakaway and a goal. The second came just a couple minutes ago when the Capitals' defender ran into the ref and fell, allowing Nash to effortlessly skate around him and fire one past the goalie. Washington was livid after the second goal, and for good reason. The ref flopped after being run into and fell on the defender.

Well, considering that the alternative was playing on the Dolphins, things aren't too bad for the guy.

Man, what a disappointment the fifth ranked battle was. Ranked fourth at the moment. Got the MKII just before the battle to get that rank and it definitely came in handy. I love the exaggarated wind-ups for the deathblows.

Shoot. I'd buy one if it didn't advertise the Giants at the same time.

He came down with the ball. It never even touched the ground.

My local affiliate cut to the news immediately after Cutthroat Bitch came on the screen. Did anything important happen after that?

All I can say is that I've never taken more enjoyment from a Super Bowl. Awesome, awesome game.

Santana passed his physical, so that makes everything official. The numbers I've seen on the contract are (including 2008) 7 years/$150.5 million. Not too bad, especially considering that a lot of estimates had him going for six years at the same price. Edit: Scratch that, apparently it's 6 years/$137.5 million.

At the moment, I'm not even that concerned with how much he's getting - the fact that he's a Met now is good enough for me.
