Rashard Mendenhal is something else.

Penalties aside, Oregon and USF are having a heck of a game so far, tied at eleven with seven minutes remaining in the half.

Its cool that the Jets won, but what does the draft situation look like now? They're either going to be as high as third or as low as sixth. Pretty sure they are going to be sixth. I think the current order among non-playoff teams is as follows. 1. Miami (1-15, 138-118) 2. St. Louis (3-13, 131-125) 3. Atlanta (4-12, 129-127) 4. Oakland (4-12, 132-124)* 5. Kansas City (4-12, 132-124)* 6. New York Jets (4-12, 133-122)** 7. New England [from San Francisco (5-11, 119-137)] 8. Baltimore (5-11, 132-123)*** 9. Cincinnati (7-9, 117-138)** 10. New Orleans (7-9, 123-133) 11. Buffalo (7-9, 132-124)* 12. Denver (7-9, 132-124)* 13. Carolina (7-9, 134-122) 14. Detroit (7-9, 139-117)* 15. Chicago (7-9, 139-117)* 16. Arizona (8-8, 111-145) 17. Minnesota (8-8, 129-127) 18. Houston (8-8, 132-124) 19. Philadelphia (8-8, 144-112) To be honest, since the Jets really don't need a Darren McFadden or a Matt Ryan, I'm not too concerned about them dropping to sixth. If it were up to me, I'd be using that pick to snatch up a decent offensive linesman, which shouldn't be too hard to find at that spot. Edit: Now I'm reading that the Jets are actually getting the fifth pick, so I dunno.

Bah, lost via tiebreaker. Ah well, 11-5 is pretty darn good.

Thank Christ the Jets won tonight. I can think of few ways to end the season worse than losing to Herm Edwards in the Meadowlands.

Oh man, that is amazing. My favorite parts are Balrog, boxing gloves and all, working the security console, and "I killed my father too and you don't hear me whining about it!"

Prior signs to a one-year deal with the Padres for $1 million. Incentives could bring it to over $3 million. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3168825

I like Angel Island well enough, but I was hoping more for a song based on one of the many, many good themes from Sonic 2. Emerald Hill or Aquatic Ruin, maybe.

Mom - Project Runway Seasons One through Three on DVD. Dad - Ceremonial brick that'll go into the fanwalk at the Mets' new stadium, Citifield. Grandmother - Assortment of hats to cover up her chemo-induced baldness. Other Grandmother - Assortment of books about Sicily, her place of birth. Brother - Doesn't give gifts, doesn't get gifts.

Hey, how 'bout that.

Redskins try to hurry the snap to avoid a replay on a Santana Moss reception and end up fumbling it to the Vikings. I've never seen that before.

Cool episode tonight. The tattoo thing was a nice twist, and I'm glad to see the Goths avoid elimination. I definitely like the idea of the "Speed Bump" as opposed to just taking away all of the team's money.

Interception number FOUR for Anderson, again in the red zone.
-
And that's three interceptions for Anderson, this one in the end zone. Yeesh.
-
Cincinnati scores fourteen points in about forty seconds thanks to those interceptions. Christ almighty the Browns are playing awful today.

Got something like that as a Christmas present for my dad to go into the new Mets' stadium. Cost was a little easier to swallow since it's technically a charitable contribution which makes it tax deductible. Oh, right, hockey. The Jackets haven't been terrible this month with ten points in nine games, but damn it's frustrating to see them constantly lose in overtime. They're tied for the league lead with six OT losses. I'm pretty sure at least four of those were from shootouts, too, which doesn't make a lick of sense to me considering how solid Leclaire and Norrena have been and the fact that the team has several good shooters. Still, they're on the edge of the playoff picture, which is a hell of an improvement over their performance in any year, ever, so I can't really complain.

First release is out. Here's a preview. http://www.cinematictitanic.com/PromoBIG.mov I dunno. Kinda funny, but I'm not spending $16 on it just yet.

Navy with a huge fourth and goal stop on the half yard line to remain three down with 3:40 to go. This has been a surprisingly good game and it looks to be heading towards a great finish.

Nice pass, Kyle.

Adrian Peterson's dad looks about thirty years old. Also, HE NEVER STOPPED RUNNING.
-
He's trying too hard, but I think he's doing a pretty good job.

Came down to the last game again, but that's five in a row.
