The Mets have turned six double plays in 11 innings. Not bad.
-
And just like that, Renteria hits his second homer of the day (a two-run shot) to make it 5-3 Braves. Bravo!

Braves and Phillies are having a hell of a game. Goin' to the top of the 10th tied at three.
-
He went on to get a hit and steal second. I think he's fine.

You're probably being blacked out. I've got ESPNEWS on ESPN2's normal channel right now, myself. I'm watching Cubs/Reds on FSN Ohio - if you've got WGN, you can watch it on that channel, too.

I'm really surprised that the Mets got to Carpenter as well as they did - before the game, I fully expected him to go six or seven innings and not give up more than a couple runs. And I admit that a few spectacular plays prevented this game from possibly going the other way, but still, a very satisfying win tonight for the Mets. It's going to be a while before another play made this season tops Beltran gunning Eckstein down. That throw was perfect.

http://kotaku.com/gaming/kingdom-hearts%25...iler-248612.php Uh... Hm. Yeah.

It's almost hard to believe that the season's actually going to begin about eighteen hours from now. I'm a little giddy.

Apparently Mike Pelfrey officially made the Mets' starting rotation. Oliver Perez looks like a lock as well. At the same time, Chan Ho Park is likely to make the team but in a bullpen spot, which he's not happy about. I don't mind Heilman's complaining about his position since he's at least talented, but it's laughable coming from Park. Admittedly, the Mets are taking a significant risk coming into the season with Maine, Perez, and Pelfrey taking up spots in the rotation, but I'm becoming increasingly confident in their abilities as training winds down. I can't wait to see each of their first starts this season, particularly Pelfrey's.

Actually, one of Champloo's filler episodes (Baseball Blues) is my favorite episode of any anime series ever. The mushroom/zombie episode really wasn't that great, admittedly, mainly because of its lousy timing. What's the point of sticking a nonsensical filler episode right before the three-part finale?

I feel the same way. Cowboy Bebop is my favorite series ever, but Samurai Champloo is in a very close second. I haven't watched either series in quite some time now, but I listen to at least one song from either of the amazing soundtracks every single day.

Samba de Amigo's in third place. This cannot stand.

There's a bunch of new videos from Super Paper Mario up over at www.gamevideos.com. Looks ridiculously fun. I loved the first two Paper Mario games and eagerly await to experience first-hand the new direction they've taken the series in.

That looks like so much fun. Not exactly a system-seller, but if I had a PS3, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I am impressed with the possibilities of Home, too. It's good to see Sony getting somewhat on the right track - I've gotta believe that the stronger the competition is, the better it is for the industry as a whole.

Well, I picked up The Show and I'm pretty satisfied with it so far. One of the most entertaining parts of the game is the large amount of amusing glitches that seem to pop up on every other play - my favorite by far is the Shea Stadium Apple floating completely out of its hat, I'm talking a good five feet above the brim.

That was a damn good episode. House's interaction with Cuddy in her apartment had me in stitches.
-
Very cool. An extended contract with a team that's legitimately excited to have him should cut down on any attitude problems Jones might have.
-
Shh, don't give Capcom any ideas.

That's fantastic. I'm a little upset at losing Game and Watch, but Ice Climbers and Young Link weren't a whole lot of fun to play as, so no big deal there. Bowser Jr. and Ridley are going to be ridiculously enjoyable characters.
-
So, what's the verdict on The Show? That's the title I was leaning towards getting, but I could use a little more convincing before I go out and buy it.
-
Never mind, it's working now. Oliver Perez has already given up two runs, yeesh.

Anybody else having problems with MLB.tv? I'm trying to watch the Mets/Tigers game and it's switching between not loading and giving me different error messages.

Maybe you could drop by on your lunchbreak.

Ahahaha. Nothing says cool secret agents like a game full of hymns.
