Apparently Mike Pelfrey officially made the Mets' starting rotation. Oliver Perez looks like a lock as well. At the same time, Chan Ho Park is likely to make the team but in a bullpen spot, which he's not happy about. I don't mind Heilman's complaining about his position since he's at least talented, but it's laughable coming from Park.
Admittedly, the Mets are taking a significant risk coming into the season with Maine, Perez, and Pelfrey taking up spots in the rotation, but I'm becoming increasingly confident in their abilities as training winds down. I can't wait to see each of their first starts this season, particularly Pelfrey's.
