To make Mr. Orange do said shuffle, you need to make all the trees in the village bloom and then go talk to him.

Bad call, but it's not like it matters at this point.

Ick. Remind me, when does the mercy rule take effect?

I hate this city.

Well, at least Issun has some personality, whereas Navi was nothing more than a shrieking overgrown firefly.

Satsifying albeit lucky win for the Jets. If Losman hadn't been doing his Pennington circa 2004 impression all game, it probably wouldn't have even been close. Also, I'm going to go out on a limb and say eight wins for the Jets this year. I think they can scrape together two more wins against the Bills and Dolphins and beat Cleveland, Houston, Green Bay, and Oakland without too much trouble.

Well, that'd have to wait until the second round, since the Mets wouldn't be allowed to face the Wild Card winner in the first round should they come out of the east.

After clearing the first dungeon, I can definitely see the influence Zelda had on this game. Reminded me a hell of a lot of the Swamp Dungeon from Majora's Mask.

The hell was that? I know it's awkward field position, but do you really wanna make it easier for MSU to score and make the gap in score even larger?
-
Wow, MSU's coach went ballistic there.

I think the Notre Dame/Michigan St. game, if nothing else, will prove just how overrated the Fighting Irish are (or were, I guess).

Whoever was calling Marlins-Phils with Timmy. Gotta rip Moneyball at every turn, y'know. I like it when mainstream sports personalities mock Moneyball. They're just getting more people to read it by doing so.

Yeesh. I was wondering how Wright managed a triple. Hope it's not too serious.

Is anybody getting the Mets/Nationals game? If so, who's hurt? Gameday only says that there's an injury delay.
-
Mets get their bats working for the first time in about ten days, as they put together a six-run rally in the fifth that features a three-run Wright home run.
-
Ricky Ledee hits his first home run as a Met, absolutely walloping a ball to right field that easily escapes Shea Stadium's confines.

1995. Greg Maddux and Mike Mussina won 19 games apeice and led their respective leagues. That was a short season, though. When was the last time it happened in a full season? Well, I don't remember which years were strike-shortened, so I suppose you could just look here. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leaders/W_leagues.shtml

Well, at least the outrage is justified this time. Even though he's still an amazing pitcher, I'm so tired of Clemens and all the nonsense surrounding him that I just wish he would finally retire for good.

In related news, the Yankees' old AAA affiliate, the Columbus Clippers, are now with the Nationals. The significant part of the shuffling is that the NY Mets are the odd team out and will play in New Orleans next season. That means there will be no Mets-Yankees games in AAA the next two seasons. I don't mind that so much, and am actually kinda excited to see what the Mets do with the Zephyrs. I'm disappointed to see the affiliate leave Norfolk (and was really hoping they'd come to Columbus), but with the organization already saying that they'll play an active role in the rebuilding of New Orleans, I'm confident that they can use this affiliate to tap into a whole new market.

Grabbed mine yesterday. Even got a little Capcom Calligraphy Pad as a pre-order bonus. I haven't gotten too far into the game yet, but what I've played, I've loved. The art style is as beautiful and majestic as promised, the gameplay is fun and intuitive, and the characters exude a certain kind of charm that even makes up for the complete lack of voice acting. My only complaint is that the camera isn't quite the way I like it; the player can move it around as much as they like, but it always bounces back to the same overhead view that doesn't show enough of the landscape for my tastes.

That story regarding Gran Turismo is insane. I'm not too familiar with the series, but didn't the last entry have that many or nearly that many cars and tracks for a grand total of $49.99?

http://kotaku.com/gaming/nintendo/nintendo...free-201852.php Damn it. I was hoping to not have to resort to illegal measures to be able to play Japanese Wii games, but I'll be damned if I'm buying a foreign console just because Nintendo can't make up their minds regarging region encoding.
