Was Holliday shouting "YEAH, BITCH!" at Cain after hitting the solo shot off of him? That's sure what it looked like. Also, is it because Yankee fans have been forced to hear about the Mets all day that they're the only ones I've seen complaining about the celebration? That would be my guess.

Marlins/Mets put on a really good game tonight despite the Mets fielding a "C" lineup. Anderson Hernandez hit his first MLB home run, Glavine performed wonderfully (8 IP, 2 R, 4 H, 2 BB, 3 K), and Wagner struck out the side in the ninth to close out the 3-2 victory.

I always particularly enjoy watching Jets/Bills. Should be a fairly competitive contest, so long as Pennington continues his string of surprisingly good performances intact.

This game is finally, FINALLY coming out tomorrow. I'm gonna hook my PS2 up to the family big screen TV and play it all day.

This is the first time I've had the pleasure of seeing the Mets clinch the division. Of course, I would have loved to have seen the celebration in person when I was in Pittsburgh, but to witness the joy of the players as they clinch at home, in front of 45,000 ridiculously excited fans...the feeling's indescribable. I love this team. Let's go Mets.

Yeesh. At this rate, the other ten teams are going to get up that wall before Lyn and Karlyn. Edit: Well, I definitely don't have any talent at picking strong teams.
-
Damn it. I wanted these guys to stick around for a while.

Most likely, a game based on the anime/manga of the same name.
-
Oof. My chances of seeing the Mets clinch the division in person are still alive. Just gotta hope the Phils can win tomorrow as well...

Man, none of the consoles are giving Europe any love. That region lock just seems cruel. Wii Sports sounds damn cool. I'm really glad that the baseball portion (the one I was most interested in) is much more fleshed out than I originally thought. Boxing sounds like a lot of fun too.

I find it funny that SI.com's picks have the Jets scoring nine points, since Mike Nugent made it blatantly obvious last week that he's completely incapable of kicking field goals.
-
This is kinda unexpected, since they were supposed to begin constructing a new stadium for the Clippers later this year. Oh well. I'm not too sad to see 'em go, since the only time I went to the stadium (which is constantly filled with irritating goobers who know nothing about baseball) was when the Tides were in town.

Whoo! Confirmed region-free! That's great news. Even if publishers decide to include regions in their titles, I guarantee someone will find a way around it and distribute said way within a matter of weeks.

Ah, thanks. Skimmed right over the word "Gamecube" when reading.

Bah, I was hoping to have Zelda at launch. Ah well, I guess I'll buy Dragon Quest and Metal Slug instead.
-
Well, I was hoping for $200, but that definitely won't prevent me from pre-ordering the system as soon as humanly possible. I dig that they're packaging Wii Sports and all those cool little features with the system. Gonna call my EB first thing in the morning and see when they're taking pre-orders. Can't wait to get my hands on this thing.

I can't say as far as Season One goes, but last season, all the eliminated competitors were brought back as the final three were putting together their collections. They surprised the final competitors by telling them that they needed to make a new piece within one day to complete their collection, but allowed them to pick one designer each from the eliminated to help create the final piece.

This episode turned out to be a lot better than I expected. Thankfully, I was way off on the Olsen Twins thing, and even more thankfully, we got Vincent back for an episode (along with Angela, but I couldn't care less about her). 'Course, he was handily eliminated by the end of the show, but still, nice to have him back for at least a little while. I was really happy to see Kayne eliminated as well, since his schtick was really beginning to wear thin and he he clearly had the weakest garment this week. Laura's pregnancy-induced hormones seem to be kicking into full gear. She was pretty bipolar tonight, but, impressively, still managed to win the challenge. Even better, the judges finally seem to be tiring of Uli, so my ideal final three of Laura, Jeffrey, and Michael looks like a distinct possibility at this point.

Valentin scores from third on a wild pitch and the Mets take a 5-4 lead in the top of the 11th. Didn't see that coming. Edit: Annnnd then a throwing error to third allows Ricky Ledee to score from second. 6-4. Edit the second: Lo Duca RBI single. 7-4.

More late inning heroics from Delgado, as his pinch-hit RBI single in the top of the ninth ties the game at four.

As far as I can tell... Strong Teams Vipul & Arti Peter & Sarah Weak Teams David & Mary Duke & Lauren Entertaining Teams Bilal & Sa'eed Edwin & Godwin Annoying Teams Lyn & Karlyn Tyler & James (uh, rehab for what exactly?) No obligatory elderly couple this time around, which is nice to see. This is the first season I'm going to be watching from the beginning, so I'm really anxious for the 17th to arrive. I love the show, but for whatever reason, have never been able to watch a season premiere and ended up playing catchup for the rest of the show's duration.

Glad to see Milledge starting tonight, even if it is just because there's a lefty on the mound for the Marlins. One of the main things the Mets should be concerned about the last few weeks of the season is getting him as many at-bats as possible.

Aw, c'mon. You guys didn't laugh at all when he was shamelessly flirting with the guest judge in Paris? Or when he gleefully admired the goofy hat he made for his model in the first episode? Or even when he compelled Laura to stick some Harry Winstons up her nose? I'm not saying he was the most talented or the most tasteful of the bunch, but he was the most entertaining. In any case, I don't know if I'm going to particularly like this night's episode; from seeing the commercials, I'm almost positive that the designers are going to be making something for the Olsen twins, who I loathe. Just have to wait and see, I guess...

That was gorgeous. Edit: That go-ahead RBI double could not have been timed any more perfectly, Cliff.
