Well, if we wanna get technical about it, the attendance for Sanchez' no hitter was apprxoimately 12,000. I think it's fair to say that's about average, even if it is announced attendance and doesn't really tell you how many fans actually showed up.

Mets/Marlins playing once more after an eighty-two minute rain delay. This after a rain delay that postponed the start of the game forty-six minutes. This thing won't be over 'til way past midnight, and I doubt there'll be more than a couple thousand fans left in the stadium at that point.

Blech. The sad part is I'd actually pick up that bundle if it included a good game (Lumines in particular would have been nice) and a movie that isn't terrible.

Not shocked at all, Mr. Crown Prince of Flash and Panache. Yeah, the Couture dress Jeffrey made was ridiculous. I wasn't sold on the color, but it was made amazingly well, arguably better than any other piece this year. That dress flowed and moved like it had a mind of its own. I'm pulling for Michael as well, if only because he's pretty clearly the most talented of the designers left. He hasn't had a serious misstep the entire series, and made some of my favorite pieces from this season. Both the outfit he made for himself and the one in tribute to Pam Grier were jaw-droppingly good.

It's not going to happen, but I'm hoping beyond hope that the Jets can pull out the miracle win against the Patriots this week. If they emerge victorious this weekend, the Jets could lose their next fourteen games and I'd still be happy. Well, maybe. Otherwise, go Bengals and Giants.

Those who vote against top candidates whose teams don't make the playoffs will invariably state that the MVP is for the most valuable player of the year; how valuable can he be if his team didn't even make it to the postseason? It's flawed logic, but no one should expect uniform brilliance from those who make the decisions regarding these sort of things.

Cincinnati loses to the Pirates. Considering they weren't supposed to do squat this year, I guess it's kinda silly to call them a disappointment. Still, I can't help but think that if certain mid-season deals hadn't been made, the Reds would be much better off right now.
