Second link doesn't work. Something about hotlinking not being allowed.

The Daily News has never really been known for fair and unbias coverage, but that's terrible even by their standards.

He would have found out earlier, but his lanky friend insisted he not be at the meeting, since it was about him.

Fairly important series coming up here for the Mets, as they not only have to fend off the best threat to their chances of winning the division but must do so with the tail end of a crippled rotation. Trachsel should be fine tomorrow, but Gonzalez is completely unreliable and I'm unsure about who's going to pitch in the five spot on Thursday. Judging by Gammons' report during the game last night, it might be Alay Soler, the Cuban refugee the Mets picked up in the offseason. It'd be interesting, to say the least, to see him get the nod in that situation. Edit: Annnnd here's confirmation. http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/new...t=.jsp&c_id=nym

Proposition, not preposition. Thanks for the quick grammar lesson, though.

On its own, putting Wagner in isn't that bad of a move. Leaving him in after giving up two runs and showing himself to be clearly incapable of closing the game is nothing short of sheer idiocy.

Sheesh. Aaron Rowand getting hurt was the best thing that ever happpened to the Phillies. Is anybody else having a problem getting MLB's Gameday to work?

http://www.weather.com/outlook/events/mlb/...mance?team=bean Didn't know where else to put that. They have one for every team. I especially like that Winning Weather bit. Who knew The Weather Channel analyzed sports so thoroughly?

I watched some of the anime after reading the manga in its entirety. It's alright, but it pales in comparison to the manga. Certain characters are given way too little time or are cut entirely and they somehow manage to sneak filler into a thirteen episode series that covers a manga which went on for eighty-five long chapters. I loved Midori no Hibi in manga form and was really quite disappointed with the anime, to be honest.

The Bosses of Worlds Two and Five. Just beat this game today with most of it completed. Kind of a flat climax, as the stages don't really climb in difficulty leading up to the final confrontation. Still, a very satisfying title. Working on beating the game 100% at the moment...

Yeah, nice job Randolph. Let Endy Chavez hit in the top of the ninth with men on instead of allowing one of a large group of superior hitters on the bench take his place. Great work.
-
Beltran's not hitting for average, but he's definitely getting on base and pounding the ball. Just hit his tenth home run. 4-2 Cards in the top of the fourth.
-
Yep. Tied with Tom Glavine and Brandon Webb.

Wright strikes out, Floyd grounds out. Really frustrating loss, as the Mets waste two golden opportunities to score in the game. What's more, Pujols should not have scored from first on that double from Rolen. The gap was unnecessarily huge out in left field and prevented Beltran or Floyd from getting to the ball. This was an important one, since the Mets can expect to lose the next two games with Lima and Gonzalez starting.
-
Mets now have the bases loaded with one out. Wright coming up as a reliever comes on. I'm hoping for Looper, but that's probably asking too much.
-
Okay...I understand that the Mets only need one run, but do they REALLY need to run the sacrifice bunt with Reyes on second with no outs and Lo Duca batting? Christ.
-
Another nice pitcher's duel developing in St. Louis between Trachsel and Mulder, as both the Mets and Cards are scoreless through five. Mets threatened in the fifth with runners at first and third with one out, but a Matsui pop up and a Trachsel fly out put a quick end to that opportunity.

I wasn't watching, what were they bickering about?

No, but you can always knock Lakitu off of his cloud and take control of it in certain levels. Loving this game so far. I didn't realize it had transports to other levels (i.e. the pipes in SMB or the Magic Flute in SMB3) until I unlocked one of the Cannon Stages and it shot me all the way to Level 5.
-
Fucking clutch. That was amazing.

Mets score four in the top of the 8th, and Sanchez returns to his dominant ways in relief in the bottom of the inning. 8-3 Mets going into the ninth. Now for the bad news. http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/new...t=.jsp&c_id=nym Despite Bannister being ready, both Lima and Gonzalez are going to make another start each. How many games do these bums have to lose before management realizes they're worthless?

I'm no Yankee fan, but man was that cool.

Comin' out tomorrow. I'll be at my local EB as soon as possible to pick this up.

I'm guessing a wiimote is a controller but what's a nunchuku attachment? http://wii.nintendo.com/controller.html The part on the left (with the analog stick) is the nunchuk attachment. I'm hoping for $200, but I'd be willing to shell out $250 at launch if need be.

Wow! 4096 simultaneous colors and 380 sprites! With numbers like that, I can't imagine why more people didn't shell out the ungodly amounts of money necessary to purchase that syatem.
