Well, whatever bad karma the Mets accrued for their respective entrance themes seems to be in full effect now, as they're currently down 9-4. Lo Duca's responsible for quite a bit of this disastrous inning.
-
Man, that Jorge Julio, he sure was a good pickup. Edit: And now the bases are loaded with one out after a reach on strikeout, an error, and a walk. I don't mind the loss so much, but the entire team seems to have imploded after losing the lead.
-
Bah. Looked as though Lo Duca was going to win it for the Mets, but it's not to be. Goin' to extra innings...
-
Hahaha, wow. Only took until the second game for Wagner to blow a save. Hmm.
-
Holy damn. Anderson Hernandez just made what might end up being the most amazing play executed by a Met all year. Guy can't hit to save his life, but man he's a good second baseman.
-
Doesn't seem to be working so far. I could somewhat understand the booing at the end of last year (and, to be honest, I joined in during the one game I saw at Shea late last summer), but to boo a guy for having a bad game and a third is ludicrous.

Delgado! His first hit as a Met is a two-run homer. 4-0 Mets.
-
Yeesh. Delgado, Beltran, and Floyd just got blanked (all gone on strikeouts), much like on Monday. Thankfully, Wright is living up to his hype thus far, as he drives in Jose Reyes on an 0-2 count. 1-0 Mets...

Well hell, I hadn't seen THAT screenshot.

Haha, nope. Sora isn't very intimidating in that form, but damn if he isn't adorable. Also, forget what I said earlier about only being in the Tron world for thirty minutes...there are more objectives to be completed there later in the game.
-
Well, the Padres/Giants game has been postponed, and it looks like the Dodgers/Braves game is headed that way as well.
-
Upon reaching the Pride Lands, the character transformations reach a whole new level, as Sora is turned into an unimaginably cute lion cub. I always thought that screen shot from the Pride Lands was one of Simba and one of the characters from Lion King II, but it's actually Simba and Sora.

The Marlins are just shellacking the Astros 11-0. That'd be amazing enough with that lineup, but Pettite was starting, too.
-
Man, Thome's quickly becoming a South Side darling. He hit his second HR just now.

It appears as though Brian Bannister is going to start the second game for the Mets. I think he shows plenty of promise, sure, but I also believe that Mets management is putting far too much stock in his spring training numbers. Regardless of how well Heilman (usually) does in the bullpen, I really think he should be in the rotation instead of Bannister, who has no MLB experience and only pitched forty-five (frankly unimpressive) innings in AAA.
-
Agreed. That was amusing, but it should end there. You can't give people free liscense to throw stuff on the field.

Check the Land of Dragons again. I'm pretty sure I went there and completed a second mission after the other worlds were cut off.

It's a good thing this series doesn't continue until Tuesday, is all I'll say. Edit: Annnnnnnd now the stadium's barren. Can't really blame 'em.
-
The game was just getting exciting when the rain rolled in. I've gotta think that the game will eventually be cancelled at this rate.
-
Nope, it's definitely less useful than last time. It's slower and it seems as though your timing has to be perfect for it to work.

Clint Hurdle! Roll Fizzlebeef! Smoke Manmuscle! Big McLargehuge! Sorry, that's all I can think of whenever I hear his name.

Peterson Family offers reward for capture of Laci's real killer
devo replied to Quasar's topic in Current Events
Nah, the TV movie made about the whole incident starred Dean Cain as Scott Peterson. -
Rocks-us. I hope you guys weren't expecting too much from the Tron world, 'cause you're only in it for about half an hour. Though, to be fair, the team-up attack with Tron himself is easily the coolest part of the game thus far.

Yes, you can tinker with the Gummi Ship again, but in this game, you can receive blueprints for models just by clearing levels in the Gummi Ship. These allow you to instantly use whatever ship you found a blueprint for, and these ships grow gradually more powerful throughout the game. So, you can either make your own ship or simply use a range of very competent pre-made models the game offers you. Also, after going through a difficult yet rewarding boss battle and an epic struggle against a thousand Heartless, I have to say that the game is finally living up to its potential.

1. Absolutely. The main improvement is that there's actually a bit of a challenge to it this time. It's still a rail shooter, but instead of simply flying forward, the Gummi Ship twists and twirls through a wild predetermined path, bringing you into combat with tons of surprisingly unique enemies, the coolest of which so far has been a huge Heartless pirate ship. 2. Pretty much. A couple have deviated from that formula, but they're exceptions to the rule. 3. Stuck as party leader. In fact, there's several situations in which you'll be separated from Goofy and Donald. 4a. Even more so. 4b. I only have access to one tournament so far. I got a couple cool items for winning, but so far, I think all you can do is fight and win prizes. 5. Thankfully, those are virtually gone. 6. Yes. 7. So far, it's more linear. But I don't think I've gotten deep enough into the game to determine the amount of sidequests within. 8. Very.
