Lost two of my games by half a point. That's aggravating.
-
Whoops, forget I said anything. Bengals fumble.
-
And within one point the Bengals execute a successful onside kick. This game has no right even being close but all of a sudden Cincinnati's in a position to win.
-
Absolutely unbelievable. If this holds it'll be the most entertaining comeback I've seen in a good long while.
-
Oh man. In the past five minutes this Texans/Colts game has gone from kinda boring to freaking great.
-
Really no story behind it. It was early in the game and I guess Sveum didn't want to use his better pinch hitters until later on.
-
The interference call at the end of the game was really interesting. I didn't even know the rule could be applied in that fashion.

Three Badgers drill a Buckeye receiver at the exact same time to force a fumble (which Wisconsin recovers) and knock the receiver into the next county. That was pretty fun to watch.
-
Oh God, I can't look away.

TEN/CAR/CHI/GB/IND/SD/NYG/PHI/DEN/BUF/CIN/NE/PIT/MIN SF - 13 Even 17 for Dallas? That's kinda strange.

Ambiorix Burgos could have killed two women in a hit and run. http://www.metsblog.com/2008/10/01/news-bu...-trouble-again/ Anyone who's still trying to defend the Burgos-for-Bannister trade might now have to deal with the "Well, at least Bannister hasn't killed anybody" argument.

From now on, unless the Mets have a spot clinched with seventeen left to play I'm just going to go ahead and assume that they're not making it. Congratulations to the Phillies and the Brewers. I'm gonna go throw myself off a bridge.

Those are Titans throwbacks - they had that name and color scheme for their first few years of existence.
-
At least I'm getting good news on the football front today.
-
Make that 34-0. Maybe Matt Leinart wasn't the problem.
-
31-0? Is it too late to become the Titans again for good?
-
Brought back to a tied record thanks in part to a phenomenal start. Final game against the Marlins. Beleaguered lefty on the mound for the Mets. Have I forgotten anything? This is so similar to last year that I'm almost expecting another another seven run one out performance. Maybe Castro's Grand Slam will clear the wall this time.

That's definitely a concern, but he needed to go all nine frames today to set a career high for innings pitched in a season, so it's not like he was worked an undue amount this year. Today was his first start of the season on three days rest. I'm hoping they won't need him for 230+ innings every year going forward, but I'm not holding my breath.

Team does not equal franchise. They could go out tomorrow and lose 14-0 and I'd be incredibly pissed at the team, but I will never say that I wish I was a fan of another franchise. I'm proud to be a Mets fan and that will not change no matter what happens.
-
You're confusing me with naiwf, dude.
-
It's been a joy and a privilege watching Johan Santana pitch this year. I can't even express how proud I am that he's a member of this franchise.
-
I didn't think it was possible, but this team is actually giving me a distaste for baseball.

And they've reached whole new levels of incompetence. Stunning.

He's a second baseman. Considering that his defense out there has been adequate, I'm willing to let the occasional error slide.
