Wow, that's a terrible play. Let it roll...
-
This game is quickly approaching legendary status. C'mon Braves. If you take this one, I'm positive you can take Game Five.
-
No, you have to include the Quizno's evil singing marmacets in that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The marmacets were pretty creepy, but they were worlds better than Bob.

Jets win 14-12. I've never been so happy to be completely wrong.
-
Jets go for it on Fourth and Goal and pick up a big TD. 14-9 NY. If they pull this game out, I'll be shocked and delighted.
-
Whoops, didn't read the previous posts properly. Sorry, my mistake. I'm not thrilled with the prospect of the Cards being the NL Champs again either, but then again, I like them infinitely more than the other three teams in the running.
-
You really think the Cards are unable to beat either team? Honestly, I think these guys are vying for the honor of being defeated by the Cardinals.
-
Hey. No vacation time needed right now, thanks.
-
Wow. Didn't see that coming.
-
That was pretty ridiculous. Joe's entire argument is that Cano wasn't trying to cheat, so it should be an out.
-
Yeah...even I don't think the Jets have a chance in hell at winning on Sunday.
-
Seems likely. The commentators were saying that Clemens was still in deep pain from his hamstring injury.

Fuggin' Tripod...

Seriously? They've been promoting the hell out of it for at least a month now. Not that the ads were particularly annoying, since it seemed to be the best bit of ESPN Original Programming yet.

Story of this game is just like yesterday's. Padres slowly but surely give up runs and squander scoring opportunities until they find themselves far behind with three outs left. Only difference this time is that Padres didn't have the flare of offense they showed in the top of the ninth yesterday. Cardinals win 6-2 and go into San Diego with a 2-0 lead.

Very prominent around here. "I cheer for two teams, OSU and whoever's playing Michigan." It's like goddamn mantra in this city.
-
It looked like it went right over the plate, and that the first contact he made was with his folded left foot, well after he had been tagged. Seeing as how Pujols is coming up with the bases loaded, that could be a game-changing call. Edit: And Astacio walks him. 2-0 Cards.

Angels finally get a run on the board thanks to a Juan Rivera Solo HR.
-
"Girls Girls Girls" never seems to get any love when people discuss that album. I think I'm the only one who has that as their favorite Blueprint song.
-
Angels fuck up the hit and run once more. At least the commentators recognized the play this time.
-
Cano with another RBI double. 1-0 Yanks.

Maybe they'll at least let Testaverde throw a little bit. Bollinger played as badly as he did mostly because he wasn't allowed to throw until the second half. Also, it didn't help that the Jets' receivers kept dropping his damn passes.

Heh, Andruw redeems himself with a 2-R HR. 4-3 Astros.
