Whoa now. I may have taken the idea and ran with it in the most ridiculous ways imaginary, but I most certainly didn't start it. ... I think. ... I hope.

Rather than clog the thread with it, here's a link to the Minor League Danceoff, hosted on the now very much defunct Midnight Carnival website.

As for mind bogglingly ridiculous things... I suppose my match on the final ML Show counts. God I hope no one has a copy. Since I knew I would never be able to beat Stubby if I faced him, I vowed at some point or another that if I were ever booked against him, I would write my match in the first person perspective of Jose the cameraman as he was filming the match. Just so I could do something goofy. And wouldn't you know it - for the final ML Show, it was Simon Flare (Stubby) vs. me vs... Someone. Forgive me, I can't remember who. It started out nice enough. But then, things like "school", "work", and "bail (or lack thereof)" started keeping me from writing, and the last 9/10 of the match was rushed to all hell, and made no sense whatsoever. Flare had a heart attack, the Manatee came down to ringside, just whatever came to mind went into the match. I had no time to be funny, just really really stupid. And the finished product was hideous.

I never leave home without it! Well, actually, I do, which is why I can't post it right now. But once I get home, I'll dig it up and post it here, if no one beats me to it.

That probably has more to do with the fact that Silent Hill 4 was just announced, while RE4 has been hyped for what, at least a year and a half? Bah. That's no excuse. And to echo everyone else, I agree - four of the top five will be Halo 2, Half Life 2, Doom 3, and MGS3. The order of those four may vary, but they're pretty much locks for the top 5.

Resident Evil 4 over Silent Hill 4? Fuck Gamespy.

Anyone remember this show? I wouldn't be surprised if you don't. Only four or five episodes actually aired before it got yanked for offending people. Wimps. Here's a quick rundown of the series, in case you're not familiar with it: http://www.comicsutra.com/cs/tv2000/god_devil_bob.htm Now, the reason for this post. Has anyone heard anything about a DVD release at all? Plans, maybe's, definite no's, anything at all? I can't find much, but I doubt I'm looking in the right places (Google ).

Philosophy - B Criminal Law - B+ Juvenile Law - C- Geosystems - C+ Not my finest work, but whatever. I passed, that's good enough for me. Cumulative GPA for three semesters: 2.7, if I remember correctly.

Pranksters hack into Burger King DriveThru Speaker
chirs3 replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in General Chat
Couldn't they at least come up with something better than "You're fat"? I mean, Kudos for a great idea and all, but come on. "We don't have anything. Pull up." and "You're too fat for a whopper" are the best they can do? -
Super Monkey Ball. Why didn't anyone tell me this game was so damn good? I would've picked it up sooner.

Agreed. Me too.

My bestest friend in the whole wide world is flying up from Baton Rouge to spend a week here. Not that there's anything to do here - aside from viewing ROTK (which we're both holding off on until the visit - it's hard, so very hard) and spending a day in Salt Lake City, there really isn't much of anything we have planned. He'll fly up and it'll be like I never moved - us sitting there, having this conversation eighty times over: "Whaddya wanna do?" "I dunno." "Me neither." *wait 10 seconds, repeat*

The Smartmarks Official Video Game Awards
chirs3 replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in Video Games
Same here. I can still count on one hand the number of X-Box titles that I'm interested in, and the number of Gamecube games I've deemed "worth owning" and haven't traded in. -

She was pardoned for all her previous crimes, yea. But isn't holding a federal agent at gunpoint (when she was planning to kill Jack and get pardoned for that too) something she could've been punished for?

Golden Globe 2004 Nominees Announced

Uma Thurman as best actress... for Kill Bill? She was the very definition of AVERAGE in that movie, inoffensive but completely unspectacular. Where the hell did that nomination come from? -
SWF Fight Before Christmas Comments

I can't seem to find the "jaw-dropped-to-the-ground" emoticon, so I'll make due: *jaw drops to the ground* More in depth comments to come once I finish the whole thing, but for now... Wow. -
Can you please tell me why you like it so much? Not really. I don't know why I like it so much - I can't bullet-point the reasons. I just know that when I first watched it (and when I go back and watch it every now and then) I really really like it. Aside from the crappy finish, everything was done just right.
