And it's funny, if you think about it, that Buffalo's about 10 seconds in game 1 and an inch in game 3 from being down 2-1.
-
'97 and '99. They won games 6 and 7 in '97, swept them 2 years later, plus the 3 wins so far this year.

Man, the Sabres have beaten the Sens in NINE straight playoff games. That's gotta be some kind of record.
-
You guys are still going to win the game if it keeps going like this.

The value menu kinda sucks. The Junior Chicken's nothing special, none of the burgers on there are really as good a deal as the McDeals were most days. And all that time spent memorizing which deal was on what day (which is pretty sad) gone to waste. EDIT: Although, the Junior Chicken commercial is kinda funny.

The best Chinese buffet in town here closed a few weeks ago because they "didn't pay their rent". I'm really hoping that's the case and it's not some health code thing, since I went there all the time.

The marker for me points to where the Swiss Chalet in town is.

So, all the series are 2-0. Hopefully the other teams get it going, since 4 short series will be pretty boring.

Most of this is just a product of where they play. Everyone on the overrated list (aside from Burnett and Kendall) play in NY, LA, or Chicago. But yeah, a lot of this is probably just jealousy of big contracts by people who figure they're worth more.

Halladay and Weaver are mowing through the hitters tonight. Game's already half over, no hits for either team and I'm pretty sure Weaver's faced the minimum so far. The only baserunner the Jays have gotten is a Catalonotto walk in the 1st.

Jose Oquendo was my favourite player for about 5 minutes when I was younger, because of the segment on him playing all those positions on the Super Dooper Baseball Bloopers tape. Also, Oquendo sounded like Canseco and I wanted to be different from everyone else. Probably why Ed Olcyzk was my favourite hockey player when I was little, too.

Some girl got hit by a train here about a year ago, so now they have crossing guards at all the train crossings near the school she went to. They even have the stop signs, it's the lamest thing I've ever seen.

Yeah, just the one disc.

REDACT IT! Loved the stuff at the end, with Toby putting the box of Dwight's complaints with all the others. The Jim and Pam stuff is going to come to a head soon, should be interesting, though I wonder why the camera crew followed Jim to his interview with Jan. And you know that group photo is going to be on their website by tomorrow. And who was that photographer? The actor looked familiar.

Anybody, really. I feel bad, because I like the guy and know he can be a good pitcher, but he's been horrible this year and is a blackhole in the rotation.
-
I don't know what's happened to Josh Towers, but it seems like he's forgotten how to pitch. Gotta wonder how much longer the Jays are going to stick with him in the rotation.

You threw the ball at the wall and had to catch it on the bounceback before it hit the ground.

We called it Red Ass (or Red BUTT, since we weren't allowed to swear). The school I went to from grades 2 to 4 had a wall that was perfect for it, since it was huge, no windows, and it was impossible to roof the ball. Played a lot of World Cup basketball, which was the same as World Cup soccer, just transfered over to basketball. Playing as teams of 2 was usually better. A lot of foot hockey or ministick hockey with tennis balls was played, too. The best, though, was football in the snow. Grade 5 was the best year for that, since there was this huge field in the school yard and a lot of snow that year. We could tackle each other and shit without worrying about grass stains or anything else our moms could get mad at us about.

The half-sister will probably end up being Shannon or something.

Seems like every other out the Jays are making is a fly ball to the warning track.

I'm more concerned with the lack of a lock on one of the stalls at work. They just replaced the toilet seat the other day (it was pretty nasty looking), but there's just a strip of tape where the lock used to be. I always have to stick my feet out the bottom of the door to make sure the person coming into the bathroom knows it's occupied.
