Sorry, but I think that Roseanne AND Courtney Love are off the market right now.

Dude, I have a new level of respect for PDS now.
-
I'm going by myself, somewhere in the 3rd row of the 400's. It'll be fun.

Another quick mention of something stupid: Munich suggesting "Death On Ice" for our PPV match (a match that took place on an ice hockey rink), and me agreeing to do it. God, that match was SOOOOOOOOOOO bad.

I destroyed RSR, so I don't hate it that much.
-
I defended the HGC Title once in 61 days, and the SWF World Title twice (once where I lost) in 2 months. Go me!

I joined the fucking Alley. I was in a stable UNDER ICEMAN. That's enough right there.

It's beginning to look a lot like Kingmas...

He was in Drumline and Love Don't Cost A Thing as well

Who travels with who?
TheBostonStrangler replied to The Amazing Rando's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
I rode with Wilson most of the time. He told the worst jokes of all-time. I dunno if I could have made it through another trip with him. When he was gone, I started traveling with TNT when he was around, and stayed off by myself otherwise. -
Man, I'm gonna have to be more subtle with my spamming now. Having Ejiro ban me would be SO bad for my ego.

I remember trying to do CC stuff early on, and King was a massive help for me back then. He also gave me a shot to break into the main event, which I am eternally grateful for. King's been the best head booker this place has even seen, and I'll miss the guy. Now, time for everyone to artifically inflate Z's ego to a new level. Should be fun.

As far as I can tell, Angle came back after his surgery a changed man in character. In that first promo he cut after his return, he talked about spending time with his daughter at home and visiting troops that were split up overseas when he did a tour in Iraq. Seems to me that someone who's had a chance to see what happens to families divided by war, and a person who's had a chance to experience having a child for the first time, might just change their perspective on family. He comes out, gives this speech, and what happens? That same night, a family is being broken apart willingly, rather than by war or other reasons. This is what Kurt hates to see, so he's willing to go out there and try and reunite them, even if it's not his place. To me, this is perfectly logical. It stems from things that legitimately happened, so it's grounded in reality. If he sees a conflict, he's going to do what he can to resolve it. Anglesault mentioned in his column about how Kurt wasn't a family man, but things do change, and, in my opinion, the Angle character has most certainly changed from his earlier issues with family, and he's done it in a believeable way. I would have liked to see a couple weeks between his return and the involvement with Eddie/Chavo, but other than that, I have no issues with this feud. In fact, I find it to be one of the more compelling pieces that the WWE has going now. You have Kurt trying to straddle the line between what he believes to be right and trying to respect Eddie's freedom, you have Eddie trying to reconcile his family and dealing with an outsider butting in....it's well-written, IMO.

I'd peg that match at about **1/2. I enjoyed it (perfectly acceptable wrestling), even if it wasn't a technical marvel. With the exception of the bodyscissors, there was some decent psych in the match as well, with Randy working over the neck (seemingly setting up the RKO), then taking what he was given and hitting a top-rope DDT (on RVD's injured neck) to finish it off. It makes Orton look good and smart in the ring, gives him a clean win without his finisher, and puts him over. I'm starting to become an Orton fan (he needs a little work, but I can see him making definite progress).

Look at it this way: At least we're in the dark about what's gonna happen, instead of us knowing exactly how shit was gonna go down last year. This is a definite improvement, and I get the feeling that things will end up fine no matter what they do. At least they've made it unpredictable, since we have a few viable Rumble winners here (Benoit, Angle, Goldberg, and some dark horses like Cena), we have no clue what the main event is gonna be, and there's the potential for some epic matches here.

Scott Keith gave HHH/HBK ****3/4
TheBostonStrangler replied to TheOriginalOrangeGoblin's topic in The WWE Folder
A definite **** match, but I really can't go above that for this matchup. Still, it's not every day you get a **** match on TV, and this might be my favorite TV match of the year. Hell of a way to end 2003. -
There were three people I always wanted to have singles matches/feuds with: - Chris Wilson. I wanted to feud with Wilson, but the timing was never quite right. Too bad, since I really enjoyed his work, and I think the two of us could have put on something pretty entertaining. 'Twas never to be, unfortunately. - HVT. We always had tenative plans to try and work something, but there was always a conflict for one of us, so it never happened. A nice battle of the giants is always a good time. - Mark Stevens. When I was a heel for most of 2002, I would have LOVED to feud with Mark. Unfortunately, he retired before I even came back, and when I did come back, I still wasn't in a position to try and feud with someone of his caliber. Still, I loved Mark's face character (probably one of my top 3 of all time), and I would have loved to do something, even just a match, with him.

Erek. No doubt it was Erek. That was a fun as all hell feud both times we did it.

SWF Fight Before Christmas Comments
TheBostonStrangler posted a topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Well, from what I've skimmed, congrats to the following: - Duran - Danny - Craven - HVT - Janus - Matthews A big, big, BIG shoutout to Ejiro Fasaki for winning the big one. Feels good, don't it? Nice job. And I'd love it if people would read my match with Erek. It was a fitting way to cap off our feud (IMO), and I'd appreciate it if people at least read it. I spent most of my Tuesday blowing off studying for the finals I had the next two days in order to write 8,000 words for it, and this angle took a lot of work from me and Erek over a long time. I plan on reading this entire PPV over X-Mas break, and I urge everyone else to do so as well. -
I have one. TBS' LiveJournal I don't mention the fed or anything in it, but I know a few guys (Supes, Z, and Thoth in particular) read it.

Soldier writes letter to Michael Moore
TheBostonStrangler replied to Skywarp!'s topic in Current Events
I'm a staunch liberal, but goddamn, I hate Michael Moore. This has fake written all over it, since it's just about impossible to believe anything that this guy says.
