I cannot wait to purchase a Frank Thomas A's jersey. Just like a Namath Chargers jersey.

It's never too hot to masturbate. -
I honestly thought that Boy Meets World was on air a bit too long. I loved the early years, but it just seemed forced after a while.

They are not going to finish dead last. They have their shit together. Now the selection of Ching over Twellman drives me up the wall. Who gives a damn if Ching is kicking ass in the MLS....the MLS is not Europe..you don't have 30000 people at each game lighting flares, smoke bombs, and singing pub songs...it isn't the world, considering that, I believe, each MLS team is limited to only so many international players. One of the reasons they have peformed well in Japan is because they had a central compund away from it all to prepare for upcoming games, and to keep the players relaxed. For Germany, they have the same thing going for them. Best team they have ever assembled....great goalkeepers, great midfield, and the potential to have a good strike force in Brian McBride and Eddie Johnson.

Devin Harris was a big reason they even went up 3-1. I can live with his subpar performance tonight. I was dissapointed in Dirk, to tell you the truth. I thought this was the game where he would close the door and then ride it to the finals. But he disappeared at the end of the game. The fact that he didn't call time out in the corner was a bad move. On the other hand, he did make some great assists during the fourth quarter, when he finally figured out how to make the double team backfire. The referees were atrocious for both sides of the game. Inconsistent and makes you think about game fixing. A last thought is that Finley showed more fire tonight than he did in his last two seasons in Dallas.

I am not really sure on England's chances right now, what with Rooney breaking his foot. It was bad, because Rooney is a pretty tough guy who goes balls out on the field, and when he broke his foot, he was in so much pain. He will probably miss the group stages of the Cup, and even after that, he may not have the right form to make a big difference in the tournament. Meanwhile, Owen hasn't been consistantly healthy in the last six months. Heck, we could be seeing Defoe and Crouch starting up front. And Crouch could be quite the target for the midfielders, especially Beckham. I think they'll go far no matter what. Now, the United States...I think we may be able to make it out of our group of death. Here's hoping that Italy is old and tired, and we can win the games we need to win. I just worry that the team only having one month together before the tournament doesn't hurt them when it's time to run the offside-trap and such. Eddie Johnson needs to be a force for the U.S. to go far.

I am not excited because everything has a way of being anti-climatic to me in the last few years.

Classical Music, The Postal Service, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Earth, Wind and Fire, and some Johnny Cash... She used to listen to Zeppelin, Sabbath, and Hendrix....but she is pushing sixty, and she has to mellow somewhat.

I enjoyed the book more than the movie. The ending was much better, and in the book you found out how that one girl killed both guys. A blunt instrument was involved if memory serves me right. -
I'm interested in seeing "Thank You for Smoking". Why? Well, I smoke. Also, William H. Macy is in it.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
A Happy Medium replied to Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye's topic in Video Games
Today, I played Oblivion for six hours straight. I developed a head rush when I arose from my chair. It was worth it, though. I finished the Thieves Guild quest. I'm writing a review of the game for my college newspaper, so I have lost my life. -
I mean. I retired my guy and it said that I retired just as I was close to being hall of fame material.

I would have to drive 1000 miles to go to this. The good news is that I know how to navigate Chicago's public transport system. I like Grant Park. I can stay at my Grandma's house. Perfect location for an August festival too. Right on the lake. Even during a terrible heatwave, the temperature should only get up to about ninety. Another good reason to go....I haven't been home in two years. The line up is good enough for a square like me.

And furthermore, the commentary for this game is smart, and very good. They make comments according to age. Tell you how poised a certain player is for how old they are. It's pretty cool.

I enjoy this game. However, I have a few problems. In career mode, I have a pitcher. 42 years old, 306 wins, 2.40 ERA, and over 4000 strikeouts, yet I am not Hall of Fame eligable yet. I'm thinking it's one of those goals yearly goals type of things that is holding my pitcher back. However, a good tip in order to get into a starting rotation when you're young is to pick the team you go to Spring Training for when you're a free agent. Pick a team with a good offense, a good defense, and absolutely no pitching. A good year is very likely.

Maybe I can sell our citizen's blood to other countries. Without civil rights or political freedoms, we miss out on a lot of commerical sports and pop music.

Is it a satellite? I got one in January of last year and am having similar problems with my Toshiba. Is your computer very hot when it dies?
