My main issue with the movies is that the guy who played Jigsaw wasn't a good enough actor to carry the movies to the degree required.
-
It used my favorite Kierkegaard quote, other than that I didn't much care for it. The movie sounds good, though.

El Brujo once dug a bunch of freaks out of a mountain, only for them to be gunned down by the intolerant townsfolk. He subsequently went on a shooting rampage, killing all of the people in the town in retaliation.

I finally caved and got 24/7. I didn't watch wrestling until I think the Raw before Survivor Series '98, so it's fun going back and watching these shows.

I once got points taken off in an English class in high school for using the word "titular" because the teacher hadn't heard of the word.
-
I'm a little confused as to the usage of the word titular versus the word eponymous. I thought that "titular" was referring to the thing after which something was named (The titular character in a movie) and "eponymous" was referring to the thing named after something (The character from the eponymous movie) but I've seen both of them used either way. Are they interchangable?

There was a very good bio-pic about the Joy Division frontman called "Control" that came out a year or so ago.

12 Hours are up. My pick is Ellen Burstyn.

I don't think he was ever near Linderman on the show, but it stands to reason he was near him at some point if Linderman and Pete's Dad were so close.

They should get drugged up and fuck each other.

Yes, this thread is downright callipygian.

W was better than I expected. It was fairly even-handed throughout, although it took some timeline liberties (ex: when he said the "won't get fooled again" thing), and James Cromwell was a terrible choice for Bush Sr. but Josh Brolin nailed the character, especially the voice, and Jeffrey Wright came very close to stealing the movie around the middle section in a scene where they hammer out the plan for the war. Dreyfus was good as well with his portrayal of Cheney. He could've been a sneering villainous type guy with death rays and ranting about the Big Board but there was a very noticable lack of death rays (there was a Big Board but it wasn't referred to as such). The ending didn't work, but the ending to the movie was going to be an issue anyways. But it seemed like they couldn't decide between several decent possible ending points so they went with none of the above. Overall, I'd say it's worth seeing for Brolin and Wright, Dreyfus too but to a lesser extent.

Omar Epps He's come on REALLY strong as "House" has progressed. The "Euphoria" two-parter especially showed what a great actor he is.

At least Mind of Mencia isn't the first commercial of every commercial break, and occasionally one or two in the middle. I'm seriously considering not watching anything on Comedy Central until it's been on for a few weeks so I don't have to sit through advertising for the godawful show. And I normally would just say that it LOOKS shitty instead of calling it shitty, but I've seen enough clips by know and know enough of how bad David Allen Grier is to feel pretty safe in saying the show sucks.

I wish "Chocolate News" would premiere so they can cancel it already.

Holy shit.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

lol. Don't get it. I used the calculator on my computer to do the first half, and said fuck it when up came 25.857482 (give or take - I'm stressing laziness, not incomprehension). A dozen, a gross, and a score plus three times the square root of four divided by seven plus five times eleven makes nine squared and not any more -
Awesome.
