I don't think this hurt Taz(z) at all, and it was obviously just a part of the show. I loved the entire segment, we almost never get stuff like this anymore: And since I'm sure someone will ask for it: They have a history together, so this shouldn't be a shock to anyone:

There is no doubt in my mind that ECW is the new "B" Show, no doubt at all. About about anyone pulling the plug, well, look at it like this. Vince McMahon himself has his fingers in all aspects of ECW from top to bottom. He wants it to be a success, and that's plain to see from where I sit. I don't think we'd see them sticking Angle and TBS in ECW and I don't think we'd see a show like what we saw tonight, if he didn't want to really seriously push it hard. I mean, they worked to get an actual TV show for it at 10pm, on SciFi, LIVE for God's sake. Sure, Steph might want to kill it, but if there's one person who can stand in Steph's way, it's her daddy. Also, if they actually let the guys push the limits just a bit more and give people more freedom, like what we saw tonight (at least that's how it looked to me), then what will that do to RAW and SD? Let's say ECW starts getting over. It might make other talent want to jump to ECW, and as a result of that we might actually see some changes on RAW and SD. As of right now, I feel really good about this entire thing. We shall see pretty soon though. Sure it's possible that they fuck all of this up, and almost likely, but you can't sit there and say that they don't want it to really work out.

No. Smackdown even without Benoit is still better. I just wish that we didn't see anymore ECW build. They did a nice job tonight for the most part, and with another show they could really fuck things up. I don't read spoilers so I don't know what happens, but that's my fear. I'd like to just see a SD with King Booker's Court.

Get some USWA tapes. Lawler in WWF/E is just a shell/joke of the man he is in Memphis. Yes, I'm not a moron. I've watched Lawler all of my life I am talking just about in WWE. I hate that he's been in WWE for so long, and we almost never see him actually let loose. The last time Lawler was like this was when he was feuding with Bret Hart. Yep, and I loved every second of his rants back then. He has a lot to offer, but they want the WWEized version of Lawler. I hate that Lawler.

I almost hate seeing Lawler like this. I mean, he's so damn good at being this character, but they almost never let him do so. It makes me wish that we could see more and more of it, but I know that wont happen.

I love seeing Sabut like this. The guy has deserved to make more money for years, and this is finally his chance.

I never could have guessed that Sabu would be main eventing a WWE program against John Cena a few months ago.

When they come back, it should just be JR and Styles.

This is also one of the main things that most new workers no longer learn on their way up. Hot damn is that how you cut a promo that sells tickets or what...

If WWE ever wanted to get over any program, they could just have a special "Story Time With Mick Foley", and he cuts a promo like this about whatever program they want to promote.

ECW wanted too much from Foley, so he went to WWE to take the biggest bump of his career.

This show is going by a lot faster than a RAW, at least to me. Say what you will about the show tonight, but at least it's had a different feel to it, with a few changes in the action.
