Ummm, WWE.com took down that picture of Eugene I posted earlier.

Let's bump this up for two reasons: 1) It's almost Halloween. 2) Cannibal Holocaust hits DVD tomorrow. It's the 25th Anniversary Collector's Edition, and it's limited to only 11,111 copies. If you like the flick, or at least are interested in it, it looks like a winner. http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=18351 http://www.monstersatplay.com/review/dvd/c...olocaust_gh.php Now, let's here some more suggestions.

Perhaps they didn't want to promote it in advance, because they are going to book it as one big screwjob/clusterfuck DQ job.

'Friday the 13th' Alums Celebrate 25 Years

I'm sorry, but that part needs to be in bold! -
Let me say one more thing before I go to bed, something I know I've already said a few times tonight. One of my favorite things about TNA so far, is that they give you the feel that just about anyone could win the title at any given time. I don't even half way know what the hell is going on, but from what I have seen there are quite a few guys who are serious contenders to the world title. You don't get that feeling in WWE. At any given time you will have the world champ, and usually just one guy who you could seriously look at as any sort of threat, and at times maybe two or three, but that's not very often. Having them let everyone know that Raven was the champ, and JJ beat him for it, and then having Rhyno win the title tonight...it just says a hell of a lot, not to mention them showing Monty and Raven all showing their desire to get the strap. Even with guys like The Truth, Abyss, or hell even Jeff Hardy and Sabu, it wouldn't surprise me for any of these guys to win the title. My point, is that I like their world title scene, where it's not just dominated by the same two or three guys just all the time.

For me, pretty much a brand new TNA viewer, their title already means more to me than either one of WWE's world titles. Just by watching the Spike TV Impact shows, and this PPV tonight, they just made it look like their world title means a hell of a lot to a lot of different people. I just don't feel it with Cena or Batista right now. That's one of the biggest problems of WWE right now if you ask me.
-
Will AJ/Williams take place on the upcoming two hour special more than likely? Then right after that, at the PPV, AJ/Joe? One thing I really like about TNA so far, is that they have any number of guys who I could see taking on the champ at any given time, unlike in WWE.

If it was up to me, Crispin Glover would already be signed on to play the part of The Joker. He's just far too perfect for the role to not be the guy. Not only does he have that natural evil look to him, but he's also not a huge name known in the mainstream enough where it would possibly overshadow Bale as Batman, or the Batman character itself.
-
And just for the hell of it, some VERY early news regarding the next Bat flick: Michael Keaton as The Joker? http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=21542 Other random things:

I hope they do as I wanted, and posted about, earlier in this thread, and go for something like this with the Joker in the next Batman flick: That is Conrad Veidt from "The Man Who Laughs", the original inspiration of the Joker. He was Major Strasser in Casablanca. He's been dead since 1943:

Anyone who knows a damn thing about the business wont say that about Rhino. Most people I know will look at him as the champ and say something more along the lines of "it's about fucking time someone else besides Paul Heyman used the guy correctly, WWE totally screwed him over".
-
Yes, of course. It started before the actual PPV even started. If such a well told story, most of which was being told in the ring where it counts, is the wrong thing to do, then I don't want to see what's right.
-
Exactly. They told a better story about Rhino in a single night, than what we've seen in WWE in terms of storylines that last for weeks, or months even. What's the better story? What we saw from Rhino tonight, or some bullshit like we saw with Eddie and Rey?
-
Why? For making fun of your beloved TNA? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No. It's because most of the time you come across as this way in your posts:
-
Ummm, ok, I guess I'm in the minority as usual. This was my first TNA PPV ever, and I haven't even watched much TNA period. I watched it with my brother, who hasn't watched wrestling since before WCW closed down, and my father who has always watched wrestling, and still watches, WWE, etc... We all loved it, and thought it was better than most WWE PPVs we've all seen lately. That's all I'll really say now. I don't feel cheated out of my money. There were highs and there were lows. I can't wait to see what you guys call a "good" TNA PPV.
-
Just watch Raven run in and cause the match to go to a no contest or DQ.
-
Ok, Joe isn't going in slow motion in this match...
-
Imagine if they actually gave the strap to someone like Joe tonight.
-
Another quick random question: If JJ was a face to start with in TNA, who were the main heels?
-
I thought that was great.
-
I haven't really minded Larry tonight.
-
I didn't catch Sabu going face first through the table, so that replay was great. Damn.
-
Before Hardy did that, I was thinking about how it would be if someone climbed onto the sign and jumped onto Abyss from there, but I figured for sure whoever did it would break their back on the side of the stage. Just, holy shit, that's all that can be said.

That was one of the most awesome high spots...ever.
