Joe/Liger wasn't as great as it could have been (I also think Joe looked like he was moving a little slow), but it was fine. I've loved this show so far.
I'm very interested in seeing how they use the first thirty minutes to get more people to order the show. That right there could say a lot about TNA to the new fans.
And from PWInsider:
That second one is pretty obvious though.
I'm right there with you on Gilberti. I was a big fan of his too in WCW, but I hate to see that it's been so hard for him being able to get past the Disco Inferno gimmick.
I was a big fan of David Young when he was in NWA Wildside. I talked to the guy a few times, and he seemed pretty cool to me. And Skipper, I've always liked him.
It reminds me of both the time that Dean Malenko did that (dressed as Ciclope) in the battle royal at WCW Slamboree 1998 to get the shot at Jericho, and when DDP dressed up like La Parka in WCW.
I like Larry, I loved him in WCW, it's just when I've seen him trying to enforce something, it just doesn't come across right to me. I think it's his voice, I just don't find it suited for what they have him doing.
