  1. Check out the main site! I finally got around to checking this one out, and I was very happy with what I saw. If you like any sort of zombie movie, the Evil Dead series, Dead Alive, and stuff like that then you really need to check this Australian flick out sometime. I don't know what the budget was exactly, but it is said to have been very little, but by watching the film you never could just guess such as that. They did a great job on such a small budget. They did better than some films that I've seen that had a huge budget. The Spierig Brothers did a great job on every aspect of this, from the lighting, effects, sound effects, score, and on and on. This is a B-movie zombie movie, and every single thing about it makes sure you understand that. Well, everything but the effects, that is just great. The acting is fine also, aside from a little problem that I had with the main cop in the film. Just like in other films like this, it's just "too" over the top for me. Everyone else did great in my opinion. What's so odd though, is that this is really unlike any other zombie type movie that I've ever seen. I don't really want to say much about the plot and what happens, but just rest assured, it's very much a roller-coaster ride with things that you just don't expect to happen, happening left and right. It's just flat out a film that'll have you saying "holy crap, now that was bad ass" over and over again. Anyway, I'll just give you this description of the film, from the main site. Go check out the trailer, if you haven't already, because it's worth it. Just remember, this is a B-flick that KNOWS that it's a B-flick, and a damn good one at that. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
  2. God, I really need Showtime. I didn't even know this series existed untill the first season came out on DVD. I need to check this out somehow.

I forget what site it was, but their forums were showcased in an article, showing you just how horrible it really is. Do any of you remember what I'm thinking of? I'd like to see if they ever talked about any other forums.
  4. I don't remember where, but I saw this game for $10 somewhere yesterday. If I think of where it was, I'll let you know.
  5. I don't even think he should be a heel/face. Have him manage guys on both shows, some that are heels and some that are faces. If this leads to ECW, you don't want just a bunch of heels with Heyman. I've always wanted a manager that was with faces and heels at the same time. A guy who wasn't in it for the boys, but for the money that he can make himself regardless of who he is with. On RAW, stick him with A-Train, Tajiri, and someone like Storm/Hardy/Rhyno. On Smackdown, let him be the agent for Bradshaw, the Dudleyz, Paul London, and possibly RVD or someone like that. The Heyman/Bradshaw combination could be great, and would also make sense. Bradshaw wants to further his wrestling career and he knows that Heyman could do just that for him, while on the other hand Heyman will need a go-to-guy for his finances once his ECW starts up. They are just trading services for one another. I think they could really work great together. Do not play Heyman as a straight face or a straight heel. Allow the fans to decide when to cheer for him and when to boo him. Have this go on for maybe one PPV each for RAW and Smackdown, and after that have him reveal his big "plan" for doing all that he's been doing for the past two months. He did it just so he could sway a few guys to join him and the rebirth of his ECW, to show Vince, Bischoff, and everyone else that he can be sucessfull on his own.
  6. I would think that there would be way too much travel involved in that for Heyman. It would be worth it. He wouldn't have to do so for too long, two months or so maybe. Have him work RAW, then SD the next day. Everyone used to do that, it wouldn't be that big of a deal for him to do short term.
  7. It reflects very bad on Affleck. If he doesn't get a few better roles pretty soon, he's going to be in real trouble. As for Smith, I like how the critics have put it. This is the kind of movie that he would have made fun of ten years ago.
  8. I'd book it that Heyman managed people on BOTH shows. Make it so that WWE didn't hire him back, but instead, individual wrestlers hired him to be with them. This way, he could infect both shows with his way of thinking, leading up to his eventually getting the guys that he gets with, to join his ECW group.
  9. Here is the trailer for it. Everyone, check it out, and let me know what you think of this at least. http://www.themoviebox.net/movies/2004/DEF...ailer-page.html
  10. If it isn't him, it's his freakin' twin or something.
  11. Eh, the Gawain character was just too accented to me, and the same thing for Lump. I didn't "hate" them, but I didn't care for either one that much. I didn't even dislike them as a whole really, there were just certain times where they both really got to me. Well, he isn't credited for being in the movie but it sure as hell looked just like him. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. The only thing, is that he might not be the same size as Murphy.
  12. I picked up two DVDs today. 1) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait Revisited $5.99/Best Buy I've been wanting this for a while, so I figured I might as well throw down a few bucks and go ahead and pick it up. 2) Brock Lesnar: Here Comes The Pain $8.99/Rainbow Records (Local CD store.) I wasn't ever going to pick it up, but once Lesnar just up and quit I figured that I might as well pick it up since I saw it for so cheap today, seeing how if he never wrestles again this DVD is the majority of the high points in his career.
  13. I've added a lot of titles since I last posted this. http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=brentlumkin http://guzzlefish.com/collection.php?usern...kin&mediatype=D
  14. I watched two films today, both brand new theater releases. 1) The Ladykillers --- 8/10 I really liked this one. I didn't care much for the Gawain (Wayans) character, and the stupidity of Lump (Hurst) was just too far out there. I mean, I understand the point of making him out to be stupid, but to act like a certified 100% in every way RETARD was just too much. I mean, he couldn't hardly even speak. Other than my problem with those two characters, I loved the film. The Professor (Hanks) character is just awesome, and everyone else did great also. This one has the signature of the Coens all over it. I've, sadly, never seen the original version, so I can not compare the two. I'll watch the original soon though, just so I can get the entire feel of the story. 2) Scooby Doo II --- 7/10 I loved the first one, and I loved this one in the same way. It's Scooby-Doo, I think it stays pretty faithfull to the orignal material for the most part. The only problem I had with it was the cheap ass fart jokes. Seriously, Hollywood please listen to me, ENOUGH IS E'FN'OUGH!
  15. Here is a new trailer. http://progressive.stream.aol.com/aol/us/m...d_trlr02_dl.mov
  16. I like these two. Like "father" like "son".
  17. What in the world is that for?
  18. I hate to hear this, I really do. But I do wish that this would cause WWE to take Austin off of TV once and for all.
  19. If anyone has a match of his, then please send it my way or something. Thanks for the information guys.
  20. I'm confused. How do so many of you know Kenzo Suzuki?
  21. Bradshaw just won me over. Wow. Bradshaw for OMG world champ!
  22. wtf So, Chavo just beats Spike perfectly fairly, with the Dudleyz at ringside? What was the point of this?
  23. I wish that the Dudleyz would cost Spike the title, and just destroy him.
  24. HHH should do the same thing on RAW that Eddie just did, just with a HHH twist. Go up to each face and say something about him. That would be entertaining.
  25. This is an instant classic. Seeing him walk out, by himself, with the flag with Fifi leading the way is just funny as hell.
