  1. In one very simple word. No.
  2. Just for the record, I didn't say I thought RVD was a great worker. I just like the guy overall.
  3. Me to. I didn't say right now but, with the way RVD is it wouldn't take much to build him up as a ME star. Then we agree on that. Give him a few months of actual buildup, then he could be a threat, especially in an ECW named group and if they actually allow him to work as he did in ECW, then he'd have a shot. Just, not right now and not right after WM. Maybe in mid-late Summer.
  4. People use to say the samething about Eddie, but look at him now. But wait, since it seems that RVD is not one of your beloved favorite wrestlers you are still going to say that he is not in Baby Brocky's league and all he does is the flippitty flop flip whatever. Please know what you are talking about, before you speak. RVD is in my top 5-10 in WWE, I've been a fan of his for years. I do not mean that RVD couldn't be built up to eventually face Brock. Hell, in my eyes RVD could be a world champion if they treated him as they should. But since they say ECW will start right after WrestleMania, and seeing how RVD is nothing more than a tag team wrestler with Booker T right now, and seeing how he'll more than likely lose at WM, I don't see him instantly going from tag team guy who loses to the guy who can defeat Brock Lesnar. As for Eddie, I never thought for a second that he wouldn't be taken seriously and would never be a threat. Eddie had a buildup, for months from Chavo feud which he ended up destroying Chavo, to winning a huge RR on SD, and being able to cut a true main event promo just helped speed up the process for him. He also had a neatly packaged backstory, etc... When Eddie was just taking on Chyna, or whatever the hell else, no, I didn't see him as a threat either.
  5. I disagree. I mean, I couldn't even take him seriously taking on Brock Lesnar right now, and I'm a RVD fan. If I had my way, I'd just make RVD, or another actual ECW star, the top guy when (and even if) it starts up.
  6. If you even think that RVD is anywhere close to being in Brock Lesnar's league, or being any sort of threat to him not only in WWE's eyes by in the eyes of the fans, then you are simply kidding yourself.
  7. Sure they would. There is a difference between protesting because you don't like who is being pushed and misused, and a wrestling company's owner wanting to push and misuse a child Ya know?
  8. Is everyone who wants in already in?
  9. [echo]Back in 2002.[/echo]
  10. The travel thing, you have a point. I still don't think it will happen though, it's just too much of a step down for him. Besides, if you have Brock Lesnar move to ECW, who in the world would ever be able to take him on? They would be forced to move other already established talent over there also to do so. I can't see any other former ECW talent looking like any sort of challenge to him.
  11. I highly doubt that. For someone like Brock, being moved to ECW might just be another reason for him to be a bitch and quit. Do you think he'd be ok with giving up his spot on a weekly TV show in prime time on network TV during the week, to being moved to an 11PM slot on Saturday night?
  12. Come on people, we could have a great thread going by now.
  13. Could someone please move this thread back to the WWE forum please? It's not a fantasy booking thread, we aren't booking any specific guys in some sort of efed type way or whatever. It's just a discussion as to what WWE could do to once again seem important. You wanted more in-depth discussion in the WWE folder, so here you go. The original post wasn't even the only point of the thread. It was to discuss both that idea, as well as whatever anyone else presented to talk about how WWE could one again be looked at as important, etc... Thanks a lot. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
  14. Why move a topic this in depth to this folder? It wasn't fantasy booking, no one specific is mentioned. It's all about what the actual WWE, in the real world, can do to solve all of it's problems and to make it seem important once again, as it was a few years ago. We get a really great topic posted in WWE, and it's moved...to the wrong folder. That doesn't make sense at all.
  15. I'm very glad to hear that.
  16. or lethal... That's what my uncle Danny thought. Untill...that night.
  17. Now you see, that would just make WrestleMania.
  18. If we had GTV still, they could have had it be "secretly" recorded. That would've been great right there.
  19. He couldn't have been serious, I took it as a joke. I mean, he couldn't have been, right? Right?
  20. Whatever you think is right.
  21. Goldberg was santa on The Man Show?
  22. Saying that someone actually died from steroid abuse is a myth, A MYTH I SAY!
  23. I've never seen one with that exact type of plot, and besides, you've never seen Goldberg as Santa!
  24. Not as much as them showing up, and then stepping aside one by one, leading up to TBS, and then even him "allowing" Austin to pass while basicly telling him to kick their ass. I will admit that to joe blow fan who doesn't know that Brock is leaving, it does look a bit odd. But hey, Brock put them in this posistion, so they do what they can in a situation like this.
  25. Eh, don't worry about it. They haven't booked Goldberg right hardly at all while he's been in WWE. This is a fitting way for him to end his WWE career.
