His character is immensely bland to me. Heel or Face. Looks like they were shooting for the next Rock, and got Lex Luger instead. Now they're trying to retrace their steps to find out what went wrong by turning him heel and starting from scratch. Orton just doesn't have the dynamic personality that Rocky has. I don't find a thing special about him. Since I didn't watch over the summer, was Orton getting face pops as a heel? If so, why?

Well, the season's over for me. Of course, the Giants didn't HAVE to be built around one player, but that's the been the front office's MO for years now. Pedro Feliz is finally gonna get that playing time that Giants fans have screaming about. If he wasn't a hack, I'd be excited, but he is. Shit. Does anyone know how to stop a baserunner in his tracks? They had it last year, and on the GCN you had to press Z+B or A to stop a baserunner in the middle of the basepath. It doesn't seem to work in this year's version. I hate having the CPU control when I tag up and how far I veer off the basepaths on a bloop hit.

Man, that Scarecrow 'costume' is pretty bad. Bat's mask looks weird. Different from the Burton/Schumacher films I guess. I was kinda hoping they wouldn't go with the rubber bat suit right out of the gate, but it looks good. I don't get why they leave off the yellow bat symbol, only to keep the the Utility belt the same color.

Hitting is way harder this year. Which is good. I rarely drew walks in last years game, opting to swing away as the cpu rarely threw anything outside. This year, I'm taking alot more pitches and waiting on my pitch until I get to two strikes where I expand my zone. I love that I can foul off multiple pitches this time around. It's kept many an at-bat alive for me. Giants won the west in my first Dynasty season. Beat the Marlins in the Division Series (where Benitez blew the first save opportunity he had) before losing to the Reds (yes, the REDS) in the NLCS.

Bret vs. Bulldog, SummerSlam 92. Both guys had already hit their finishers. Unlike today where guys have to hit their finisher 3 times to put a guy down in big matches, back then it was 1 and done. The sunset-flip reversal was something I definitely didn't see coming. But it worked in the context of the match, with no man being able to put the other away, ending in a last-ditch desperation move.
