You ever notice that when people recall a telephone conversation, they use that "I'm talking on a telephone" hand gesture? Is it really necessary? Haven't we already established that you were on the phone?

One game so far and they managed to not get a single hit from the 3rd inning on. Oh and they lost, having only scored a single run. But you'd also have to take into account that Rich Aurillia and Ray Durham are on the DL and they're usually solid hitters, with Aurillia being top notch (usually) in a clutch. And the fact that Jesse "Useless Rookie who has yet to impress anyone and manages to walk every goddamn lead off hitter, while fellow rookie Jerome Williams has kicked ass" Foppert was pitching. Still though, they needed Bonds. I pretty much make it a point to never get my hopes up when anyone but Jason Schmidt is pitching.

So a guy can be let off the hook if the leg work only takes place in the very beginning of the match? That's fine by me, but how many workrate freaks would cry foul if it were anyone else?

It was good, but not gut-busting funny. Some moments were great, everything else was kinda there.

I voted with Andy for the sketches and bits before the interviews, but during the interviews, he was pretty much useless. Nothing better than Andy finally winning the Staring Contest. Except, of course, for Triumph in line for Star Wars Episode 2.

My DirecTV service rarely goes out when it rains. In fact, it's gone out mostly when the weather was clear. Even then, it was very brief.

I AM Hispanic and I'm not a walking stereotype or charicature that you seem so concentrated on. My family came here in the 80s to avoid having our family and home ravaged by war and wouldn't you know it, that's how alot of them immigrants find themselves coming here. Not to sell drugs, not to rob 'poor little old white ladies' or other bullshit. It's the desire to support yourself/family/whatever in the safest environment. Fact is, the third world doesn't have as many opportunities to do that as America does. The other thing is, the legals never get the attention that illegals/thugs/cholos/assholes get. And that will never change. And it pisses the shit out of me. I agree with you about attempting to stop stereotypes. But some of us just don't care, while others do try to progress the image of the Hispanic. It's pretty much that way with every race. Would it be fair to say that because most reported school shootings are perpetrated by white kids, I should stereotype white people as mass murderers?
