Fuck that noise. Even those Cena against HHH makes more sense than Hardy/HHH at this stage, I thought them doing a Hardy/Cena/HHH match for the belt would have been better. That finish pissed me off, I was crossing my fingers for a Hardy reversal of the FU, but it didn't happen. The fans, though, continue to show they really want Hardy up there in that title role spot again, as it was a much stronger pro-Hardy crowd by the end of it than I expected. Really entertaining Raw tonight, great follow up from the ppv.

I find myself pulling for Hardy here in this match alot. Cena just seems the natural heel right now.

Undertaker has a leave of absence every year via legit injury or staged death. He'll come back like he always does. Yes, but how do they explain this one? It's already said he couldn't just move to another brand... The same shit they always do. Someone, either the BOD, a new GM or a desperate GM reinstates him. Vicki could also be drafted to ECW or Raw as well, forcing a new GM on Smackdown.

Thats one wild fan doing the run-in there.

Undertaker has a leave of absence every year via legit injury or staged death. He'll come back like he always does. Vicki will sooner or later get the ax as SD GM and I'm sure the first edict from the new GM (it will probably just be Teddy Long again) is to reinstate Taker at (insert ppv here) against Edge in a HIAC match. Or who knows.

Yeah, the Crime Time deal was weird, and then Cade basically squashes Murdoch. Expected their first match to have gone a little differently, and at least advertised a bit ahead of time on the show too.

From the live shot they showed him take the bump last night on the ppv, it looked completely legitimate. Show kind of fell funny on the way down and misjudged when he would make impact with the side of the stairs and he knocked himself good. I also would have been very shocked if the writers would have let Show do a bladejob like that right before the first blood match. Show's hardway blood totally came across better than Cena/JBL's finish for sure, and I'm sure that wasn't the intention. I also want to add that the main event was tremendous and what made it probably more notable than anything else on the card was that I was in total shock when Edge actually won. I thought for sure, we'd see Taker rise up after the huge table bump, and then Edge was en route to taking some other big spot as a receipt. When it didn't happen and Edge actually won, I think it shocked the crowd just as much as me. Taker winning was a virtual given, so we thought, as it was the unofficial selling point of the show in a way. Whatever the case, it was the first time in a long time that the main event, particularly the finish of a ppv was that strongly done, and preceded by a HELL of an undercard. Even the Orton/HHH match was strong before the injury, and the Orton injury itself almost made this ppv stand out as better than the rest even more. While an injury like that is never good, and having to rush a finish as well, the dymanic of the situation was entertaining as hell and will become a memorable moment this year for sure, as HHH was getting heat on himself for fucking around with Orton after the injury, and Orton got the respect applause from the crowd for fighting thru it a bit longer after the injury occured. And then for Orton to respond in the way he did back to the crowd was heelish gold. As some have already said, a RNN vignettes return would be perfect, and him forging together an alliance with a guy like Batista and maybe Ted DiBiase Jr as well would be solid when he returns.

It will probably put Burchill on the radar finally with something or against someone he actually is noticed for, so that's good. Katie Lea has tons of potential too. And Kennedy will still get the push ahead that probably was aimed for Regal originally.

Im loving Melina in this new role of hers.
-
Two ladies teams that have never tagged together - Katie Lea/Phoenix v. Melina/Mickie James.
-
Hmm, that wasn't the finish I expected at all. Both guys came across as pussies. They have played into last nights' "injuries" to JBL and Umaga significantly tonight in how both of those guys have done tonight.
-
Considering Bradshaw did a job hardly anyone except a grade school kid would think was legitimate anyway at the ppv (and I'm sure the intention of the way they booked that first blood finish was to protect him), it doesnt surprise me they are just continuing to push him hard, plus he's in the right place at the right time currently with Raw in some need of some strong heels, at least til June 23. As much as I can't stand JBL, I fucking loved that spot last night where he was teasing cracking Cena open with the bull whip, that got his character a little more over in my eyes.

I can't figure out Jericho's deal with his character right now.......seven shades of tweener I guess. With that said, I'm really enjoying it. That promo just seems code to me that his focus back on the IC title is "too little too late" and he's jobbing tonight. He had a hell of a unconvincing delivery on top of it.
-
This is probably the blowoff match of this feud, which will lead to Holly/Rhodes v. DiBiase/???? for the tag titles upcoming. Umm, exnay on the ixnay on that one, I guess that lame program continues.

Vince is in total promoter mode here.
-
Hmmm, so they are giving away a million dollars over the entire duration of next week only? Thats how Vince is talking like....
-
I think a three way would be much more better. Hardy/HHH just doesn't scream ppv main event at this point, and Cena/HHH as a single match for the title seems like something they should maybe save for down the road at a bigger show like SummerSlam.
-
That's actually a great idea, I'd even like to see it at a county fairgrounds or a beach.
-
Goddamn yum to Katie Lea. Umaga/Kennedy should be decent here.
-
Haha, I was thinking the same thing, it might be! Cena v. Hardy tonight and Jericho/JBL for the IC belt (thinking a title change there for some reason)......sounds like a good show coming off a really REALLY good ppv.
-
I can easily recommend this show, 3rd best show of the year behind Rumble and Mania for WWE. Everything on the show is pretty solid stuff.
-
Dude, relax. Foley is redeeming his usual "eh" Smackdown commentary with some good work here in this match.
-
Watching it in HD at home, its working. One of the more stronger non-major ppv shows for WWE so far this year by me.
-
Yup, the crowd is applauding Orton right now. Haha and Orton is screaming at them. A true heel never dies! That was definately a legit injury, I hope that doesn't keep him out very long as he's needed.
-
Either that's a hell of a sell, or Orton is legtimately injured after taking that awkward bump over the top. I'm thinking the latter. They seemed to rush/improv the finish so I think he's really hurt. Possible broken collarbone. Damn there is all kinds of crazy shit going on with this show.
