A lot of people start with the VU & Nico and are turned off by Nico. (I like the album). Maybe try to pick up a copy of 'White Light/White Heat'. It's really loose and frantic sounding, and is quite a bit of fun. I like all of the stuff by VU, but they realeased a few widely varied albums and hung it up. As to Queens of the Stone Age, you have catchy hooks, sexy songwriting, some nice guitar work, and some nice, stuttery stop/start moments. They're also an incredibly fun band live. Through happenstance, I've seen them live three times.

Maybe not quite supernatural, but the Brood's Bloodbaths were pretty cool. The widely-rumored angle for the KISS Demon and Vampiro is the most ridiculous, though.

House of 1000 Corpses was 5 minutes of brilliance folloed by an hour of pure shit. House of 1000 Corpses absolutely sucked ass. Devil's Rejects is honestly one of the best horror movies of our times. TCM, last house on the left, it takes all that crazy shut and does it well.

Ok, OMAC+Sacrifice was great. I really liked Day of Vengeance, well written, great supporting charactars. great art (who let that guy do the cover art? It was ghastly.) I hope the Shadowpact have a part in the IC series. I liked Villains United quite a bit too. Catman and Deadshot were awesome, also Scandal. A well-written series that made you like the Secret Six, while there's a lot more brewing. Rann-Thanaar was ass IMO, but I'd like to know what was going on. I never much liked the kree-skrull-brood-shi'ar nonsense in Marvel, I thought it was fucking boring. And at least then, I knew what was going on. Does anyone want to suffer through an explanation of the Rann-Thanagaar series?

If I ever put anyone on ignore for stupidity, (CronoT, Fishyswa, UTSU), it would have taken a lot of the fun out of the board. As it is, they provide me sustenance. A shrine of CronoT, Fishyswa and UTSU quotes would keep me endlessly amused. (fuckin G key.) Slayer'll do the rest.

Joe Jurevicius (steadily making himself my fave late pickup ever) LJ Smith Lindell Vikes' D (They're going to have a great game) Here's my dilemma: Palmer vs Aaron Brooks. Carson is obviously for real, and an incredible QB, but the Steelers can, and will fuckin shut down a rival out of sheer bitterness. They're the only team to shut down Carson. They gave him a pity rush TD much to my delight, but Carson was shut down. Meanwhile, Aaron is still alternatingly painful and fun to watch. Wait, he's facing Tampa, go Carson.

Well, that was a decent, but thoroughly unpleasant episode. I guess we can add martial arts master to plastic surgeon, expert dancer cokehead and general evil SOB to Quentin's growing resume.

Raul Julia owned this movie in every possible way. It's sort of sad it was his last movie ever. Nearly as bad as Orson Welles' last screen credit bein the voice of Unikron.
