American's Slipping In Education
Special K replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in Current Events
I sometimes wish I was born in Japan. 6'4" and a standardized test master. (a skill you pretty much get to use ONCE in your life.) I would a demigod. -
Obviously not a lengthy topic, just wanted to know. I'm assuming the Sharpshooter was not one of them, since that was the finish, so we have: Russian legsweep Backbreaker 2nd rope Elbow Atomic Drop(?)

^ Search for Santorum on the net. It'll be number one or two. Dan Savage is awesome. -
Great clip, Fook. That Bruce is one crazy guy. I like how he starts with this really obvious fake voice for like one sentence before he goes nuts.
-
Gah, yes I mean early 90's, specifcally against Misawa. He was working matches past '92, but as a shadow of his former self.
-
I've only seen his late 90's stuff, but it's superb.

Don't you think you're an extraordinary case in this situation? I'm not a huge proponent of soy, but either you're allergic, or it was something else. I ate a burger once, and was evacuating from both ends, I'm not going to say that beef's the devil. It's delicious.

Standardized tests aren't necessarily only about memorization, especially in math. There should be less of an emphasis on vocab and more of an emphasis on reading comp, but if you do really badly on a standardized test, you're either just fucking around or stupid. And if you're mentally handicapped, there's a very good chance you're just incapable of meeting NCLB's standards. Which is cool because then they'll take away your funding and give it to those who need it.

As an aside, being in a coma (not being braindead) COULD conceivably be awesome.

We're FOURTY-NINTH IN LITERACY? Wowzers. I think the creationim/intelligent design/evolution debate is not that applicable here. Nor is the liberal/conservative issue, besides right-wingers' refusal to admit there's any sort of problem with the environment. It does seem that less and less people are interested in math, science and engineering in this country, which is a DEFINITE bad thing. you can't have an entire country of businessmen. -
Oh, man. You could make a dirty limerick out of that.
-
Oh, IRDM, of thee I ask you: pussy eatting tips. I love it. To the point I have foregone straight sex for it. I do all right, and have a fairly dexterous tongue, However, I feel you could probably drop me some science. (P.S. read Miracleman)

I was just rummaging around and felt like going to Lance Storm's Website (no other wrestler answered his message board and replied to emails like Lance) Here's a commentary he did which was just swell. No comments, just fine reading. http://www.stormwrestling.com/121304.html

Could Van Dam be a viable WWE main eventer?
Special K replied to Superfly Snuka's topic in The WWE Folder
Here's my take on RVD. In ring: He's capable of having really good matches, but putting him in the ring with a great worker does not in any way gaurantee a great match. However, he's capable of having pretty good matches with complete slugs. So, that being said, he's above average, but not great in the current WWE roster. (and yes, he can do more than the flippy-floppy. He's perfectly capable of pin-reversal sequences and throwing a few suplexes and biels. Chalk that up to WWE style. ) Also, while he sorta sucks at long term psychology, he will sell individual moves like a god. He still has the best piledriver and stunner sell I have ever, ever seen. On the mic: again, above average. He's very funny when in given a bit of mic time in that role, but he can also cut a pretty darn decent angry promo, though his voice isn't really suited to it. Charisma: Almost off the charts. We all know this. People reacted to Benoit's in-ring charisma, they reacted evem more to RVD's laid-back cocky persona and high-flying. I would say he should be in the lower main event. Maybe have a month-long title reign or big win against somone established to set him in stone as a contender. Then He works in the upper midcard. Like many performers, all they need to do is give RVD a little mic time, and a little more time in the ring, and they have an absolute asset. -
Thanks much, Fook, (and everyone else who donnated matches to this thread)

6-11 ommitting #8, which is just an old-school reprint issue. http://s5.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2NIMUYMQ5229W1ZCFPD8LRHGXS part 3 http://s29.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3UF41TS...BW20XGLWVXAJBV8

I would call the new Dawn of the Dead 'good' and the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre 'ok.' Both were devoid of originality, and the original TCM blows the new one away so badly it's ridiculous. What is this Wrong Turn? Hmmm. Eliza Dusku. I think I shall rent. The only really good horror movie I've seen lately that that doesn't star zombies is Audition. Creepy as hell.

Was the bulldog part of it? I can't believe I forgot that. He used it all the time.
-
Re: The Valentine's Thread That's honestly one of the funniest things I've read in quite a while. Between that and this CronoT HAS to be a gimmick poster. Wonderful.
-
And where's that soylent green we were promised? It's supposed to be delicious.
-
I'll probably put it back up, perhaps in 3 sections (ommitting the lameass reprint issue.) for slower connections. It'll probably take until tomorrow, though.

Moore will be all for it if they develop a cheeseburger bush. Oh ho ho. I've never heard a reasonable argument as to why this stuff is in any way bad, besides reactionary panic. And if they ever do get that square tomato out, Wendy's burgers will look awesome!

He honestly needs to be a little bit MORE selfish in his matches and diversify his offense a little. He's a hell of a bumper and seller, but he barely gets any offense in during his matches. We know he knows the moves, he just needs to get a couple more in.
