Calvinism. You are born predestined to heaven or hell. While good works and intentions might indicate you're going to heaven, it's all a crapshoot.

Re: the IGN interview It's sickening how New Jack takes pride in crippling people in WORKED MATCHES. I bet I could be a hardcore motherfucker if I was to smash someone as hard as I could with a chair or cut a kid with a blade when they weren't fucking expecting it. Fucking piece of trash.

Hardly. It's just a niche thing, and someone who gets way too into a niche or cult thing is going to probably be obsessive. There are planty of people who like anime and/or puro who are perfectly chill. The only connection I can think of is Tiger Mask was a manga character originally.

Mel gave one sort of wild-eyed interview and suddenly he's crazy. It's not like Coppola who pretty much DID go crazy filming a movie. Gibson sounds like a stand-up guy with his own ideas in most interviews.

From what I read into it, it seemed pretty clear the documents were not government documents. While they may be replicas (I doubt it, the onus is on CBS in this case to provide the original, or admit they either forged it, or blindly accepted it as truth. I think paying reporters is pretty sleazy too.

What did he say about the Dudleys?

I never really heard the similarity to Bohemian Rhapsody and Christian's operatic music, except foe the Queen-esque opening vocals. Then it shifted into a fairly generic sounding guitar melody with deep operatic singing. Of course, I've never heard the whole thing. What happened to the guy who wrote WWF's music in its heyday? THere were so many great themes Austin Rock D-X and Jericho(I think these were done by a band though) The Brood Edge Mankind (orchestral and Crash) Dude Love Owen's Bret's Razor's HHH's - My Time (Maybe my favorite heel music ever)

Is this the sword of truth series? If so, hell no. I might be interested in some Goodkind stuff, but that series went downhill quicker than any other (besides maybe Ender) as he immediately started stretching out a popular series and making it crappy. (as opposed to, say, Robert Jordan who started stretching it out with the fourth book) Song of Ice and Fire just gets better the more you read into it. Definitely best fantasy series currently going that I know of. It too was originally planned originally as 3 or 4 books, so he's really taking his time to get all the plot into place before going ahead with it. I want the fourth book badly, but I'll wait for it to be done right.

It was a rip-off? I thought it was just a cheaper cover. That one was EXACTLY the same.

How could Alex Wright's music break the mood? He is Das Wunderkind. He is German Beauty. He had his little eurodance. It should have turned you MORE on. Alex Wright used to crack me up.

I would say Sting is above average, though I'm not a fan. Big time over, bad mic skills and good charisma cancel each othe out, pretty good in-ring if one looks at his career as a whole. Maybe Luger? Somewhat over, good look, garbage on mic, below-average leaning to bad in-ring for career, but was a world champ. Honky-Tonk? OK on mic, great heat, pretty bad in-ring, moderate success. Bubba-Ray or D-Von? Pretty good on mic, Ok in ring, with some in-ring charisma, pretty good success, but only as tag members.

^^ Wow, I dunno if I can beat that.

Dreamer kicked out of the Superfly Splash in ECW. Styles sold it as Dreamer being the first person ever to do so. Don't know how true that is.

Foley's second book is only half a book, really. That half is good. The other half is an extended screed against the PTC, which while somewhat well thought out, is way too forgiving of the WWE, and just a shill for Vince. Hey, guess what, Mick? Everyone who bought the book probably already liked wrestling. I think it's just because it was far too soon to write another book. Not enough new material. I have heard the Tributes and Pure Dynamite are the only books that can compare to the first Foley book. I've wanted both for a while.

Psychosis' music was pretty cool (I think they used it for Mysterio at some point as well?) But it could have well been stock music. It was just a beat caused by many strings playing at once.

nWo theme had a few Hendrix licks in it too. The most obvious one from Highway Child. There was another one I had definitely picked out as a Hendrix lick, but now I can't remember it.

Sonic Youth - Teenage RIot Bjork - Hidden Place/Hunter Clash - London Calling Orbital - The girl with the sun in her head

Exactly. Humorous misunderstandings are a very basic type of joke. That's all this is. IMO, it's quite a bit less offensive than one of those 'White/asian/hispanic/black guys drive/walk/dance/sound like this, other guys drive/walk/dance/sound like this'.

That Zappa Crossfire is great. I want a Carville versus Backlund debate. That would be ratings gold, baybuh

Now matter how sharp the blade is, it's probably going to hurt for a few seconds. The head stays alive. I know it's gruesome, but there it is. (maybe you go into shock instantly, I don't know.)

How many cats would it take to kill a man?
Special K replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in No Holds Barred
You're offended by pictures of adorable, albeit terrifying, kittens? -
A) That is the joke. It is a double entendre. B) The character does not intend it as a racist term, but Stiller's Character probably takes it as that, and is shocked. That is the comedy of the situation. If the character does not intend it as a put-down, it's hard for it to be offensive. C) I honestly don't see it as being very offensive. Nor do I find Chris Rock saying 'cracker ass cracker' offensive, and that's actually using it as a put-down.

Oh god why can't I find Stella Artois in this town
Special K replied to Giuseppe Zangara's topic in No Holds Barred
Stella is excellent. I would recommend perhaps Sopporo as an alternative? It's an excellent, crisp beer, as is Asahi Dry though Sapporo is better. Pilsner Urquell is pretty good too. -
He didn't have a good look, and had horrible mic skills, but about the former he couldn't really do anything, and as to the latter, they could have written for him. He WAS over and DID bust his ass. While he got some help from uncle Eric, I've never heard about him bitching about jobbing. His willingness to be made to look like shit after taking a pay cut in the WWE should demonstrate that. He deserves no disrespect.

Special K replied to rising up out of the back seat-nuh's topic in No Holds Barred
Most of my cats could/can leap about 4-5' straight up. And they WILL latch into what they find. My fat ass cat can leap about 3' but can claw his way up a 6' fence afterwards.
