Gay zorro? Isn't that redundant?
-
Yeah, people LOVE politicians. Makes senes. After 4 years of bitterness and 're-elect Bush', he decisively won. If Kerry had won though I GAURANTEE you M. Moore would have been the man of the year. Gauranteed.

I don't think RVD roids (He is extremely flexible, when I've heard roids get your muscles tight as hell) And he probably has one of the biggest LOWER bodies of any wrestler. He has enormous legs. COmpare to HHH who is getting better, but used to have the tiniest legs I'd ever seen. Toothpicks. Anyone who's played sports can tell you that all your power comes from lower body strength. One I'd be curious about is Scott Norton. He is immensly strong, but you can't really tell, his face hasn't changed at all. Mark Henry I wonder about. He was an olympic-trained athlete, obviously hugely strong, and they test. And while he's incredibly strong, his frame makes him look like he was meant for it. One person who looks crazy is Batista. I really enjoy the guy, but he looks so freaky because his frame wasn't meant to carry that much muscle. Seemed to me that Rock just used roids when he was recovering from injury, which is actually a pretty valid reason for roids, from what I've read.

I generally like action or humoure with character. Rumiko Takahashi's stuff is my fave so far. Reccomendations?

I occasionally got a good whipping, but I had to be a prick to get one. It was pretty rare. Dad was cool though. Once it was over, it was over. It didn't get brought up and he'd act cool to you.

Keep in mind they COULDN'T sign most of those guys from WCW. They had ludicrous contracts that had to be paid to them while they sat on their asses at home. DDP took a PAY CUT from that (because no matter what can be said about DDP, he LOVED wrestling) and the WWE treated him like dog shit. I will always be pissed about that, and I'm not a huge DDP fan or anything

Re: Cat in the Hat, Mad TV Kathy Griffin: I'm pretty sure most of these are largely reviled. And if you've been on Hollywood Squares, and your name isn't Triumph, you probably suck, and always have.

Take that back, KKK. Public Enemy and especially the Clash are awesome. And you know Bush rocks out to Rock the Casbah. He probably listens to it once a day.

Well, Houston and Dallas are cool.

Whatever. Seattle rules, besides the politics. I would say cut off Texas for its politics, but you know what? Texas is a badass place, and many of my best friends in college were from there. Politics are overrated. And Eastern Washington is dull as dirt, though pretty.

DC Comics' Next Big Event after Identity Crisis
Special K replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Literature
Probably not, but a second run was ordered on the first couple issues, so I bet you can find the whole series. You may be able to buy the complete run on eBay, as well. Good series. -
I think it's the fact that the room is empty, as opposed to filled with some important mobsters there to see him be 'made'.

Kings of comedy. Got great reviews, was pretty damn bad standup. M*A*S*H. Liked the movie, HATED the show. Oh, and Dude where's my car? That was an abomination. The ONLY remotely funny parts were the parts they showed in the commercial. I HATE it when that happens. That movie SUCKS.

Jim Carrey - Most under-rated dramatic actor ever?
Special K replied to a topic in Television & Film
He's also pretty darn good at picking scripts now. Or perhaps people with a quirky dramatic role seek him out. I am glad that his upcoming lemony snicket's way too long title does look funny though, because Bruce Almighty was so shitty that I didn't laugh once, except at one of Steve Carrell's outtakes. -
If it's safe, who cares? It's probably just somehow sorting the sperm to see which have the X and which the Y. If that's how they do it without actually altering them, what's the harm? It's not like they're taking a female baby and forcing it to be male, or vice-versa. It's a natural sperm and egg. If Hitler had been female, he would have been different. Likewise, if he had recieved a different male sperm, he would have been way different as well. You're never going to be able to prevent or promote evil in this manner. It's all a crapshoot, and all the suppositions otherwise are rather stupid.

^^^ Made my post for me, pretty much word-for-word. The ACLU was a vital organization, but I believe there just aren't many valid causes for them to take up nowadays, since they did a good job back in the 60's and 70's. Now they essentially fight so that very thin-skinned people never ever are uncomfortable. They have gone from fighting for equality and freedom to fighting for conformity. I personally think I'm pretty liberal, socially. That doesn't mean I throw all practicality out the window. Parents need to be able to parent. Hopefully that shouldn't include invasion of privacy, but if it does, so be it. If despite my best efforts, I suspected my kid was doing drugs, as long as he or she is living in my household I should be able to check their room for it, or listen to sketchy conversations. As I said, hopefully it shouldn't come to that, but I'd rather do that than have my kid sent to Juvy or kicked out of school, or have their transgressions blamed on me. I swear. In 10 years the gay cause will have fared well and the ACLU will be left trying to prevent people from wearing rosaries and yamakas to try to justify their existence.

Kneeling Man: I won't have to do this everytime I get a bill passed, will I? Bush: It's cool, it's not like we're married! Kneeling Man: ....Do you always put on your underpants backwards?

EDIT: Ignore.

Seconded!

The thing is, yeah there are crazies on both sides, and they sometimes can make a case (not that I agree) about public lands. But private companies shouldn't be cowed by 1% of bitchy people because they have a tree up. My college celebrated Yom Kippur. Did I give a damn? Of course not. No one did. If you allow yourself to be intimidated by crazies, it's your own fault. I also think it's a better option to do as the post office does (they have stamps for all holidays) than to just generalize it into nothingness. Hardcore atheists can shut the fuck up. Someone celebrating their religion does not oppress a lack of religion. I don't remember people losing their shit about the Darwin fish, and that's more directly offensive, since it's using another religion's symbol. I DO want to market a Darwin fish eatting a Jesus Fish eatting a Darwing fish to make that stupid little feud completely absurdist. This may be the best sentence ever.

I have watched several of these matches, and don't recall a blown spot. I haven't seen the whole series, but I'm sure they improved with time over their first match.

Japan could have an interesting wrinkle in it too, as guns are very rare. They could beef up the hand to hand fighting! England would have the most killer soundtrack. I want an all-Clash station. I'd love to see what they could come up for for London or Tokyo in the graphics dept. I bet it would be gorgeous. GTA in the FUTURE!

Does anyone have a tape to time the chinlock? It was ridiculously long. So long that people on this board are remembering a chinlock, myself included. (also memorable due to the insane heat it generated, which Buff probably took to mean he was getting over huge as a heel.)

I'm not offended by most 'controversial' content, I'm offended by just rank fucking stupidity being submitted as entertainment. Hey I know shitloads of stupid people! I don't want to read a book about them or watch them on TV! I want something stimulating. I don't even understand why some of the shows are popular. (I know why it's popular by the networks, it's cheap as fuck.) Is it just so we can look at complete idiots debasing themselves and feel better about ourselves? It's so bad the only things I watch on TV now are the FX original shows, Arrested Development, and football.

Who knows? I always thought that it was really weird that mister passionate about politics Rush Limbaugh didn't vote until he was in his mid-30's, por exemplo. I think a bunch of the pundits just figured out that if they only debated idiots on their shows and made outrageous blanket statements by tying the craziest people on either side to their wing as a whole. And I would be very surprised if she actually liked the Ramones. She probably just said that because she knew Johnny was a conservative.
