Favori's in New Orleans. I have heard that the REAL cheesesteaks (i.s. in Philly) instead of having some melted sliced/shredded cheese on them, instead have a nacho-cheese like sauce slathered on. Is that true?

I liked Cabin Fever alright, it had a very weird vibe though. A really disparate cornball humor mixed with nauseating gore vibe.

Lucky. \Napolean Dynamite I've only seen a live DVD (which rocked), but I love their albums. Hope it's a great concert!

I personally thought Napolean Dynamite was hilarious. 'Saw' was dissapointing. It wasn't godawful but it sure wasn't very good.

I think there will come a time as well where it may just take too much devolop games to taht extent, except perhaps the really big budget titles. Of course, developer's tools keep evolving, but there's gotta be a manpower bottleneck in the future.

I'll make it brief, I need some good hip-hop, but all my friends listen to G-Unit shit. I'll tell you what I like. De La Soul Public enemy Tribe Called Quest Roots Some old 2pac. Old school Snoop and Dre Some Jay Z My Faves are Beasties and DEL! I love Del. (Note: I fucking hate ICP, Ja Rule, Eminem, Ruff Riders shit) I like Acelyone, but don't know if there's a particular album I should buy. Anyway, that's the thread. Give me some good hip-hop. EDIT: listening to some Sonic Youth, I remembered that I like Cypress Hill. I hear they like cannibus!

I wonder about McGwire, he was always very open about using Andro, which was basically a steroid that was OK at the time (banned now).

Bear in mind, the PS2 Fallout and Baldur's gate games are dungeon crawls. The Baldur's gate one is pretty fun, but they're not what you're looking for. PC RPGs that rule: I liked Planescape and Icewind Dale more than BG, though it's good and I haven't played BG2 (I assume it's out) Anachronox is good, good stuff, though it's light on combat, heavy on sidequests, and the story will never be finished. Has a great sense of humor. For example, the collectible in the game is called a TACO: totally arbitrary collectible object. And of course Fallouts I & 2 Also, I really dug the Dark Sun games (old School D&D)

Okey Dokey, I am a social liberal economic conservative. I voted for Kerry, though I REALLY didn't want to, since he was such a weak candidate. My justification for this was the slightly skewed reasoning that a tax and spend liberal would be curtailed by a conservative legilslature. Plus, again, I'm a social liberal. Bush has now proved that whatever exorbinate spnding he desires, he can have. The legislature basically kowtows to him. What can be done? Can we have a Prez that doesn't have the sickest budget of all time? Cut the pork, George.

Suikoden I+II are way better than III, and III's all right. Suikoden II in particular is godly (and ungodly expensive) valkyrie Profile is supakeen The first Shadow Hearts is good. I expect the second one to be better. I thought the gameplay in the LoTR RPG was pretty awful, and the story not particularly great. And yes, please play Disgaea.

In terms of booking logic flaws, the absolute biggest is the burial of RVD. Vince should have went with his wallet over his ego, because RVD was fucking MONEY IN THE BANK! He was getting the biggest pops every night, despite being a heel (at first) My friend who never watched wrestling watched EVERY WEEK because he loved RVD so much. Over with smarks and marks alike. So they neuter his style leaving him outrageously spotty. (he was very spotty vefore too, but he was exciting because he had variety and could run through a big variety of moves quickly.) And I believe twice they book him against a heel (UT, HHH) where RVD has the advantage the way the math is set up, and he just gets absolutely squashed. The damage is absolutely irreparable now.

Anyanka, I'll definitely take your word for it. I was a very good TTT player (Brian Xiayou team is a monster.) and a really, really good T3 player, but besides Xiayou's fuck 'em up game, and Nina's general dominance, I couldn't much get into T4. And I still say Paul was weak in T4. He had very few horizontal moves. He was fucking ridiculous in T3 though, but I was never a Phoenix Crusher player. Wouldn't work against my friends anyhow. It just seems all his deceptive combos you could easily sidestep and probably get a back throw on him. He has a lot of feints, but they're all very side-steppable. EDIT: What characters typically win tourneys? My love of Xiayou's subtelties are (now) well documented, but my friend was tremendous with Kuma, for one.

The greatest techno band ever is The Berzerker
Special K replied to Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye's topic in Music
I'll check it out, but it's going to be an uphill battle to convince me that a techno album is better than Orbital's In Sides. -
Agreed. The Johns campaign said that Bush had cut education when that clearly wasn't the case. (I think the money could be spent better but, hey) The point is, Bush shouldn't have to worry about shit like that now. He got elected, great. His first move was to spend more fucking money! That's why I loved McCain. If he had been elected, I think he wouldn't've spent so much damn money. And hey, if you cut the budget somewhat, just FUCKING EXPLAIN it! I would think that any American given to watching politics and not just voting by gut instinct could understand the basic fucking concepts of economics. Damn.

Um, I have a limited knowledge of foreign languages, but I know my Romano/Grecian roots. Did you, Nevermortal just say 'Eat the Shit?' Because that kinda stuff will put me off of any tactile experience for a week.

Back in the day they at least used to make passing references to WWF history. I.e. Rock's face promos stating 'the Rock and the Rattlesnake haven't always seen eye-to-eye.' It just needs a passing reference. The most egregious example is the Kane/Lita storyline. In ONE fucking week we're supposed to buy Kane as a face because his fucking RAPE baby was miscarried. Fucking phenomanal.

Who is the killer or killers in Identity Crisis?
Special K replied to Vampiro69's topic in Literature
After thinking about the tone of the series, I think we may have a second-tier villain doing the killings at the behest of an older villain. That way it boosts two characters, or perhaps the actual killer is axed. -
The hero as tryingto break out from forces he cannot control has always been a good comics staple. It's why I really liked Venom before the character was milked to death and his character was destroyed.

Hank Williams Sr. and Johnny cash are the absolute kings of Country. no one else comes close. Merle Haggard, Sons of the Pioneers, Willie Nelson are Pretty good. Recent rock/country is just so fucking lame I cannot listen to it. EDIT: If David Alan Coe weren't such a racist cocksucking fucker, I's like him for a good musician. Being a racist cocksucking fucker sort of turns me off from him, though.

That WAS sick. Another GREAT spot that looked brutal, but was probably pretty safe in the grand scheme of things (since Raven's DDTs always look awesome. Best DDT evah IMO.) Is a match with Malenko/Benoit v Raven/Saturn v Mysterio/Kidman match (which was INCREDIBLE) Raven ended in what I would call a true hangman's DDT. Much like the Hangman neckbreaker (neckbreaker while opponent is laying backward off of turnbuckle, attacker on mat.) Kidman is set up on the top rope, and while his shins are the only thing touching the top turnbuckle, Raven DDTs the SHIt out of him.

Do you have a fighter list? I LOVED T3 and TTT, but T4 left me somewhat cold. My friend was wfully good at Jin. I could only beat him with Nina or Xiayou. As long as Xiayou's in this I will have some fun, though. I truly think she is the most fun character be in a fighter ever. I would like some stuff added to Paul's moveset as well. He and Nina were obviously godly in T3, but they really neutered Paul in t4, IMO. Steve was really fun to play in T4, but he wasn't close to being top fighter.

Well, actually, there are allegations of fraud on both sides. Bush did win the election, and I don't think anyone credible is disputing that. The situation in FLA in 2000 was pretty fucked up, but everyone should accept that Bush is our president, and he was elected by the American people, at least this time.

A bit of a tangent, but Angle for a time would just SCREAM cuss words when he was applying the ankle lock. i.e. "Austin you stupid sonuvabithc if you don't tap out I will SNAP your fucking ANKLE..... WHOOOOO!" The happy whoo at the end made it.

Just watched Superman: the Movie for the 1st time. Great fucking movie. However, it is mired in the Superman infallible mythos. If Christopher Reeve ever met someone who could portray Batman, it would have fucked it up. Batman resents and challenges Supes every step of the way. Of course, Batman's defining trait is his humanity, and the filthiness of Gotham. He's like Superman in that he does what he does, and has a code of morality, but he knows he does as much as he can, becuase he limited to the confines of mortality. I must add, though I liked the movie, Lois's YOU RAPPIN' COOL poem was absolutely fucking horrid.
