Goddamit, Of course I know that Bush can't fire a congressperson I was exaggerating, but the administration will certainly let their displeasure be known. And I'm sure plenty of congressmen want Bush to back them up in the future, as he did for many people. They SHOULD curtail some social spending. That's the economic conservative way. Bush's new philosophy of tons of tax cuts and tons of new spending (not just on the war, but on social programs as well) is conterintuitive, especially since it seems we'll be supporting a war for a good long while. He doesn't have to get reelected. I understand if you cut a little money, everyone starts bitching and moaning, but he doesn't have to worry about that now.

Halftime heat was chockfull of this crap/gold. Rock eatting salsa: 'Ugh, it's mild' slaps salsa on Mankind, who sells. Rock picks up a piece of fruit 'Rock doesn't even know what this is!' throws it at Foley, who sells. And one of my all time favourites, they're fighting in the bathroom slamming each other around. Girl: EEEK! Rock: (panting and sweating, but suddenly givng the 'sexy look' and speaking in a 'sexy voice' ) Hey, baby. You want a piece of the Rock? Girl: EEEK! NO! ROck: (angrily) Well, well, the rock says your nothing but a big skanky ho! Get the steppin'. (Resumes beating) guess you gotta see it. but the Rock looking half dead and hitting on this girl while Foley is doing his usual selling noises and looking almost all dead is great, and whoever was the lady was hilarious. She seemed absolutely terrified.

His BatB comments post-Hogan joining the yet-unnamed nWo were very memorable, but that's when he quickly started devolving, IIRC. Tenay was sometimes a little hyperbolic too. Remember Hector Garza? A marginally talented Luchadore who was given a brief push probably because he had a good look and NO MASK~! His big move was like a 360 plancha. just twisting on his vertical axis 360 degrees. Didn't even get much air. A moonsault is 10x as impressive. Whenever he did this move (always on 7 guys who held him, then comically fell) Tenay would start hyperventilating about the twisting cyclone splash or something like that. 'I've never in all my years seen something like that!' This while Mark Mero was doing SSPs as his finisher in the WWF. Going overboard on 7 guys catching endless weak planchas is what made Tenay seem like a joke.

Not very long ago you posted a very similar thing with the EXACT SAME TOPIC, people both tore into you and responded with clear logic to which you just sputtered and came up with no rebuttal. You have no knowledge of the Middle East, and coming up with a post that has the same damn topic as the other one you got pwned on leads me to believe that you are, in fact, a troll. Hence I really wish you'd go live under a bridge. So answer me 2 questions: 1. Why won't the U.N. help Israel, when they sanctioned the Israeli state? If they lended a small hand, there could be less accidents, and fuckers like the late, not so great Arafat (your best buddy) might be a little bit cowed. 2. Why is Israel the bad guy when they haven't broken peace treaties in the area, and why do they get resoundingly crapped on whenever they want to build a border to keep civilian-killers out? 3. How is an accidental shooting a tactic? If you can answer these questions logically, I'll retract my comments. However, I don't think you can really defend your views. Sorry.

I dunno how Campbell's being a hypocrite. I've seen him talk twice and read his book, and basically says: stop asking me about Evil Dead 3, there are no plans to make it. And there weren't. And there wasn't anyway a low-totem actor like him could get those plans rolling. And why would he have reason to believe Raimi, hot off directing one of the hottest movies ever, would want to make another horror movie at that moment? That's not hypocritical, that's just not thinking it'll get made, and if you had been asked the same question constantly for 10 years, you'd be sick of it too. Just like every author I've seen winces whenever they get 'so, where do your ideas come from?'

Speaking of, is Bendis really bad with continuity? I've heard gripings from his stuff on DD and Avengers. (besides other just retardation on the Avengers) based on other stuff that he completely controls, USM, Jinx, Powers, he seems really good. How many damn comics does he write now? It's probably an issue of being stretched too thin. USM has not been all that for a while, and I don't really like UFF.

A little different looking, I think. I think sometimes, though, the brow can look enhanced from years of blading. Such is probably the case with Douglas.

On the last post: while they may have been multiple reasons for going to war, were they expressed to the U.S. people, or congress? I payed careful attention during the ramp up to the war and ALL I heard about were WMDs and Al-Qaeda. Maybe they retroactively went back and found some good reasons, but that doesn't change the fact that the reasons they expressed for wanting to go to war were those two.

Who has the writers? It's the terrific humor of Pixar movies that make them continually great. Hanks makes it seems that Pixar employed the writers. The witlessness of recent Disney-made animated movies would seem to back this up.

Don't be a burger tease Rob, how was the monster? I should mention the scarlet tree burger at the scarlet tree cafe here in Seattle. At least 1/2 a pound patty, I am pretty sure more. It's a *big* patty more than a *thick* one. That's because it has a crapload of bacon, all the veggie fixins, to cheeses, and to top it off, 1.5 hotlinks (big ones) halved on top. I believe you can get it with their chili (which is excellent) on top as well. Best part? On like Tuesdays you could get two for $6. It was a monster.

Oh, the chin is slightly enhanced as well, I believe. Certainly showed on Hogan. We could have some fun with the before/after picks on this thread.
