That is a huge opening for Shrek.

Are you really? Vince has always favored eye candy over actual ability. Maybe Ariel isn't tops in the wrestling department but the Expose girls are more over with the casual watcher (read: horny guy). I'm waiting for Jillian Hall to go next.

MLB.com actually referred to the Braves as Boston's "natural rivals." Please. I believe Boston played Philly this time last year.

Good Lord. I thought I was the only one who remembered that one. -

I'll admit I didn't give a lot of really interesting dramas on TV a chance this year - but only because I've been burned too many times before with networks pulling them right after I get interested. (Most recent examples of this: Invasion, Day Break.) -
Yeah - that list is a FALL preview. Lost won't start until January or February, with 16 episodes, no repeats, no breaks.

My prediction: Nathan sacrifices himself by grabbing Sylar and flying him into the ocean just as he blows.

Hearing BIG hype about Pushing Daisies.
-
It's also been mentioned that Law and Order: Criminal Intent is moving. It'll be a USA Original next season, though I believe NBC will air encores. For those that care.

Give it up for emo Peter.

Oh, and one other thing - after the end of Spider-Man 2 I was hyped for Harry being *the* major villain to beat in Spider-Man 3. We didn't get that, and we didn't get a whole lot of Venom either. In this respect i feel robbed.

I thought it was a good movie. The effects were great, the acting was decent, and it was entertaining enough to hold my interest all the way through. The problems I had with this movie echo everyone else's: too long, too much crammed in, not enough Venom. The movie was so long because they had to go through the whole "black suit" story just to get to Venom. If they were going to do this they needed to eliminate something - either push Sandman off to another movie, or push Venom off to another movie as a conclusion of the black suit storyline. Many critics (and many of you) are calling it a bad movie, but I don't believe that is the case. Compared to many other movies of its genre (and much of what else it out right now) it's a great movie. The problem is that it has flaws in abundance, and it falls far short of the quality of the first two. On its own it's decent, but in trying to top the previous two it falls flat. Gwen Stacy is smoking hot. Nuff said.

HOLY SHIT! Saw it coming. But still. HOLY SHIT!

So they're supposed to "take down" the Walker tracking system. Are they out to kill Molly Walker? Does Bennet realize the tracking system is a child? (I'm sure the others don't.) I think I missed something. Why does Molly's ability make her "the only one who can stop Sylar?"

Two weeks left. The NBC preview said to watch "the next 2 Mondays."

Two words. Clint Barmes.
-
If they need people they could bump up Rose and Bernard to regulars. They *did* already get a flashback episode.

Yes, TVGuide.com reports

Yeah, and Locke's seems so as well. Think they're going to eat it this season? If you ask me - I think one of them will...

Since one or more people were asking about this... TVGuide.com broke the release date for the Heroes Season 1 DVD today. It'll be out August 28th.

Jericho over HHH back in... was it 2000? ... would've been huge if the decision hadn't been reversed later in the show. I remember for those few minutes my buddies and I were audibly marking out. Loudly.

OK, in all honesty, if you're looking at buying a house and have the qualifications to get a decent job, I'm sure you'd do fine here. Can't tell you too much about Melbourne but Palm Bay is growing at a phenomenal rate so there's plenty of opportunity here. The problems come in if you are not so well off. Renting is expensive and getting more so, and the jobs aren't paying any better than they were at entry level. Like I said, if you've got the qualifications to do better than more power to you. As far as lifestyle here. Palm Bay was much smaller when I moved here ten years ago. Almost *everyone* here comes from out of state. So, it's not very hard to make friends with others Those that *do* come from this area, I've noticed, are very passionate about their local lifestyle - like high school sports, for instance. Die hard high school football fans. I wouldn't say there's plenty to do in Palm Bay or Melbourne, but you're within one to two hours of most of the major tourist areas in Florida - them being Orlando, Disney, Daytona Beach to the north, Vero Beach to the south, KSC, etc. Living near the ocean is nice. Just watch out for hurricanes. Hope that helps. Any other questions?

I live in Palm Bay, Florida. DON'T DO IT!
