I don't know what to think about the Detroit/Chicago series now. Once the Bulls swept the Heat, I thought they'd ride that wave of confidence right out of the East, much like Dallas did in the West after beating the Spurs. Time will tell if tonight's game brought them down a peg. I hope not, because I'm really pulling for them out of the East. I like the Jazz against Golden State, if only because Boozer is playing with the fire and aggression that Dirk wasn't in the last round, and I don't think the Warriors will be able to contain him. That's going to be a fun series. I'll say the Jazz win it in 7. Suns/Spurs: Much like John said, this is one of those series where one team just has the other's number, much like the Spurs and Mavs last year, and you'll believe the other team winning when you see it. Spurs in 6. The NBA champions will come out of this series. Nets/Cavs: This is going to be one wretched series. The Kidd/Carter/RJ trio combined with the Nets' experience will just be too much for LeBron to overcome. Nets in 6, but God help us if they come out of the East again.
-
This is only the second series ever where the home team won the first six games, and the road team won game 7. The other was the 1969 Finals, where the Celtics beat the Lakers. Russell's last year, Wilt's first on the Lakers, and featured the famous Don Nelson shot. Carlos Boozer is incredible, he owned Yao this whole series.

Name "Sensational" Chris Stevens Age 28 Height 6’ 1" Weight 221 lbs. Hometown Rochester, Minnesota Alignment Heel Stable Affiliation none Wrestling Style Technically proficient, with some cruiserweight influences (American, more than Puroresu or Luchadore) Theme Music Who Are You - The Who Entrance Style The opening riff of Chris's theme music kicks in and the arena lights glow a dark blue as Chris walks down the aisle, either smirking or scowling depending on his mood. Chris climbs up the ring steps and steps into the ring, raising his hands to usually a hearty chorus of jeers. Entrance Attire Long robe, ala Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff. Often carries a mirror to the ring. Ring Attire Short tights, Basic black kneepads and elbowpads. White athletic tape around the wrists. Black laced boots, polished to a shine. Chris wears his brown hair long, and is certainly conventionally attractive. His body is lean and well-toned. Finishing Moves Frog Splash. That's all...for now.... *dun dun dun* Signature Moves Diamond Cutter -- Chris used this as a finisher in his early career. RARELY used nowdays. Superkick -- Chris' main setup move for the Frog Splash. Tornado DDT (a la FUNAKI~) Running Kneelift (a la HHH) Northern Lights Suplex (with bridge) Basic Moveset Lots of amateur-type moves and mat moves -- headlocks, amdrags, leglocks, takedowns. Dropkicks often, and sometimes catches opponents with a superkick. Likes to trap his opponent in the corner and use European uppercuts. Chris Stevens is a clean fighter and will break a hold when asked, but he's not one to shy away from dirty moves, if he can get away with it. Short answer: CHRIS STEVENS IS A MAT WRESTLER. Manager/Valet/Sidekick none. Catchphrases/Trademark Gstures Nothing really. He's just kind of a jerk. History/Background/Career Highlights Since I'm too lazy to keep up TWO complete bios, here's just a little history. Born in northern Minnesota to an affluent family, Chris was a pretty normal kid. As such, he idolized his heroes and wanted to be like them, and to Chris there was nothing better than pro wrestlers. They were, like, so cool. In addition to the WWF and AWA shows, Chris would make his daddy take him to any and all local indie shows. Chris ended up becoming a good-sized, well-built, athletic young man, and he made the concious choice to get into wrestling as a career. It hasn't always been an easy road for Stevens, but he's worked his way up to the "big-time" of the OAOAST. However, certain events in his past, most notably involving a good-looking and talented former World Champion, have left his attitude a bit sour. Chris's main goal is to be the best in-ring competitor there is; his second goal is to make Hoff's life a living hell. Fame can wait. It has so far. Titles Held OAOAST 24/7 Championship August 5 to August 12, 2004 OAOAST Heartland Championship October 30, 2005 - December 18, 2005 Greatest Matches vs. Hoff, 8/12/04, 24/7 Championship vs. Sly Sommers, 9/26/2004 vs. Hoff, 1/30/2005, Steel Cage Match vs. Alfdogg, 7/31/2005, Heartland Championship Barbed Wire Ladder Match

I think Avery certainly deserves a small percentage of the blame. When you won 67 games in the regular season, you shouldn't need to change a goddamn thing, especially not for an 8 seed. When he put Devean George in the starting lineup, that let everyone know that the Warriors were in his head. From that point, Nellie just kept playing his mind games, and the Mavs fell for them and fell hard. I think they actually thought that the Warriors were just happy to be there. The Magic were just happy to be there. The Warriors played to win.

Wow. Cuban's a wreck.

Steve Nash is the MVP, I don't give a fuck about anyone else's votes. Fuck Dirk Nowitzki.
-
AND REMEMBER, IT WAS THE TRADE WITH INDIANA THAT TURNED THIS ALL AROUND!
-
omg, Devin Harris actually passed the ball to Dirk! I think I may have a heart attack.

ESPN fails at grammar "Raise your hand if your ready to face the Spurs. Thanks, Steve." EDIT: Ha, they changed it.

See, if Isiah had never traded Van Horn, maybe the Knicks would have got some of those calls at the end of games, and got enough wins to get in the playoffs.
