I was mostly posting it for the song, but yeah, I watched that play over a few times, as well.

Lakers clinch with their win over Seattle, leaving only the Warriors and Clippers fighting over the last available spot.
-
The Pacers named their 40th anniversary team today, as voted on by the fans. If we lose our last two games and Philly and Sacramento each win their last two, we'd have the tenth-best odds in the lottery, which would put us in position to keep our first-round pick from the Hawks. Of course, that's who we play next, and they're doing a pretty egregorious tankjob of their own, so it's unlikely.

I own this jersey too, btw. I'm not a big fan of the Warriors alternates, either, but I've got nothing bad to say about their other jerseys. And there's only room for one blue & gold team in the NBA. Philly and NO/OK officially eliminated from playoff contention. Which means I don't have to type NO/OK anymore.

The Sixers may have just fucked our playoff chances, getting blown out by the Magic a week after beating us. We're now two games out of eighth again.

Despite my bitterness, Kurt Angle Mark pretty much has it right. Granger consistently plays the Heat well, and was doing so again tonight. I know Jermaine is supposed to be our go-to guy, but at the same time, stick with what works.

Hibbert & Green into the draft from Georgetown.
-
Hey, Dwyane, when you say "we won as a unit", make sure you include the three guys in grey shirts next time.

I don't suppose we could ban Doug Collins from calling any more games involving Kobe Bryant, could we?
-
It's pretty valid in this case. I didn't have them in the playoffs, but that's a lot of games.

Well, I guess I didn't beat the "If the Knicks did it you'd all complain" wave, but my point still stands. I never said Isiah was the only coach to complain about the refs, and I'm well aware of Phil Jackson's antics. But I don't know of any coaches who play that card as frequently as those two. As for Nate Robinson, yeah, I probably would be more on him, if they would honestly consider running up the score after the way they complained about George Karl earlier in the year.
-
P.S. - Before I'm accused of bias towards the Knicks, I should point out that the Cavs performed a similar act against the Pacers last month. I didn't have a problem with it then (I would've mentioned it if I did), and I don't now.
-
And if it was a close game, Isiah would just claim they were screwed by the refs, as he usually does. Those guys have to be the center of attention, no matter what.

So here's the situation with a week left in the season: East Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Miami, Cleveland and Washington have all clinched playoff spots. Detroit has clinched the #1 seed in the East. Toronto and Miami have clinched their divisions, and will be top four seeds as a result. 7. New Jersey (37-41) (NY, @IND, @NY, CHI) Tiebreaker over all four teams 8. Orlando (36-42) (@PHI, BOS, @WAS, MIA) Tied w/PHI 1-1 9. Indiana (35-43) (@MIA, NJ, @ATL, WAS) Tiebreaker over ORL, PHI, NY 10. Philadelphia (33-45) (ORL, @DET, CLE, @TOR) Tiebreaker over NY 11. New York (32-46) (@NJ, @TOR, NJ, @CHA) Tiebreaker over ORL West Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio, Utah, Houston and Denver have all clinched playoff spots. Dallas has clinched homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs. Phoenix and Utah have clinched their divisions, and will be top four seeds as a result. San Antonio will be the other top four seed. 7. LA Lakers (40-39) (@PHX, SEA, @SAC) Tiebreaker over GS, LAC 8. LA Clippers (37-40) (POR, SAC, @PHX, NO/OK) Tiebreaker over GS, Leads NO/OK 2-1 9. Aaron Afflalo is also going into the draft.
-
The Hornets are also only a half-game behind the Clippers, and a game behind the Warriors.
-
Going by last year's playoff schedule, they'd be up to the fourth game of the series by the 28th, if that helps.
-
I thought surely you would make Scott Skiles the coach.

Dwyane Wade came back for the Heat tonight, and had 12 points and eight assists, but the Heat lost in OT to the Bobcats.
