King brought up a good point about players being given leeway with arguing when they have one T, and if nothing else, Carmelo's ejection shows that they're not going to show favortism to the star players with these new standards, which is a nice sign. They've always called techs for throwing headbands and such, so that's nothing new. He already had one technical, as well, so it's not like they immediately just tossed him without warning for throwing a headband. Then again, I'm not really a big fan of Anthony, so I could be biased.

ANGLESAULT However, he has informed me that he will be ready to go in time for November Reign, and he wanted me to inform you of his challenge to a Survivor Series-style match. Crowd cheers, as Reject begins to laugh. ANGLESAULT I wouldn't start laughing just yet, Reject. He also let me know that in addition to Spanish Fly and Team Jamaica, one of his partners will be the man who defeated you this past Saturday at Syndicated...Colombian Heat! Crowd pops, as Reject does stop laughing, but still keeps his smirk. REJECT You know what? That's fine. Yes, Colombian Heat did CHEAT his way to a victory this Saturday, but like I've done all year, all my LIFE, I'm going to bounce back... As Reject is saying this, an arm goes around and a hand rests on his shoulder. The camera pans over to show Alfdogg as the owner of the arm, drawing more boos from the crowd. ANGLESAULT Alf! Long time, no see. NICE showing on Saturday. Reject smirks once again. ALF (nodding sarcastically) Very funny. ANGLESAULT Can I help you with something? ALF Well, I came in here to discuss this triple cage match at November Reign, because I KNOW you've got a spot reserved for me. ANGLESAULT You know, I was going to talk to you about that...in fact, I have spots reserved for both of you! Alf and Reject start to trash-talk about the belt. ANGLESAULT IF...if, you make it through your first match of the night. You see, you will both be participating in Survivor Series-style matches...and if you happen to survive those matches, and whoever happens to survive their matches, will advance to the Triple Cage main event for the championship of the world. *crowd cheers* ANGLESAULT Now Alf, as for your match. Pacers win in Charlotte 106-99, after getting nothing in the first half from O'Neal or Harrington thanks to foul trouble. Sarunas Jasikevicius tied a career high with 20 points. On the other side, Okafor had a monster game with 19/13/6 blocks. Harrington actually started at center, which could do wonders for a few of my fantasy teams down the road.

It's fairly common knowledge that Rose and Isiah were constantly at odds in Indiana. Isiah would sit him for long stretches of games, and basically had no clue how to use his versatility. Walsh also promised him that the team would be built around him...part of which was Isiah needing Jalen's backing to get hired in the first place...when he signed his max deal, and Isiah came in and went in a different direction.

I never disputed your comments on Rose's defense. I just think you're overstating Richardson's worth a little bit. Maybe he's changed since being in Phoenix, but I never recall him doing much on the court other than standing out and shooting threes all day.

Jalen Rose can play the 1, 2, and 3, is good for 20+ points on any given night and is a very good passer. Quentin Richardson shoots 8 threes a night, and pounds on his headband. I'll take the first guy.

Not that surprising. Isiah ran Jalen Rose out of Indiana, and now he's run him out of New York. So...Jalen Rose is without a team...and Quentin Richardson is the opening night starter. I had trouble keeping a straight face, too.

OK, feedback. Fun little match between Heat and Reject. Really picked up towards the end, and it had the feeling that either man could win, which is always good. Heat avenges the attack on his friend, Jumbo, but is it over? We'll find out! Loved the Wright/Teddy segment. Big fan of the Theodore Moneymaker character in particular. Can't wait to see what's in the future for these two. Great, fast-paced 2/3 falls match, with some mind-blowing moves, particularly the SSP into the crowd. Definite PPV-quality, IMO. Why PR, you sneaky little bastard. The fans may love him now, but he'll still do what it takes to pick up the win. Fun, intense match. The commentary was funny, too. And now, War Games. CEREMONIAL SALT OF DOOM~! OK, so it said powder, but let's face it, ceremonial salt sounds much cooler. Former World tag champs have Leon all to themselves, and target the knee, but Leon fights them off a bit. Scotty to even the odds, and here comes the blood~! And BLOOD MIST, and the STEEL SPIKE~!!! Awesome. And of course, it didn't even peak until Bruce and Zack arrived. Fork to the nuts for the win! Tremendous match, and with the BRUTAL and HEINOUS attack on Leon, it's not over yet...but where do you go to top this one? My back is fed. Great show.

Any chance on getting an update before HD this week? I wanted to announce my survivor matches on this show.
