From WM2, when Hogan is choking Bundy with his rib tape Jesse: Now what do you have to say, Alfred? Alfred: It's tit for tat, Jesse, what's good for the goose is good for the gander! Jesse: I figured an Englishman would come up with something like that! Elvira: Jealous because you don't have a cartoon show, Jesse? Jesse: Don't you get on my case either, Elvira, or you won't go out with me later tonight!

The Wolves throw another five-year deal at a bench-warmer, this time Damien Wilkins of Seattle. Link~

I actually pointed that out to Hoff when he sent me the match to see if I had any problems with it, but I guess it never got changed. So...blame Hoff. LOLZ2005

The Magic will waive Doug Christie using the amnesty clause, according to ESPN.

THIS JUST IN from the OAOAST's OFFICIAL~! website (OK, it's not really posted there, but work with me here.) On July 14, it was mayhem all over the Mall of America with SG. This Sunday at License to Pin, it was a brutal and bloody ladder match with the CSI's Chris Stevens. Alf had this quote after his crushing defeat at the hands of Hoff, regarding his escapades as the Heartland champion: "If they're still craving for more, just wait until a week from tonight, and hear what I have in store for this title at AngleSlam." ...well you heard the man! Tune into HeldDOWN next Thursday night to hear the big news!

If we're going to do a show at Fenway, we should save it for a PPV, IMO.

btw, didn't the Celtics just get *another* name change to their arena just recently?
-
I'm also writing my promo right now, and I kind of need a location confirmed.

Since Hoff was just in this thread and didn't do it, I'd like to call the ME for our match.

How long since Baltimore has been done?

Last I heard, the Lakers were rumored to be interested in Anderson.

I'm really digging all the people (not necessarily anyone at this board, mind you) who are saying the Pacers will have to "adjust" to Artest being back, while teams like the Heat and Cavs have nearly half their rosters consisting of brand new additions and it's "OMGz THEIR GOING 2 B CHAMPZ~". Please...Shaq, Walker, and Williams ON THE SAME TEAM. There's no way.

It's at ESPN, too. Link~

Shaq is an amnesty clause waiver of the future. No way he'll be able to warrant that kind of money for five more years, he's already 33.

I thought the deal with Jackson was he ended up getting less money with the Hawks than he would have with the Spurs because his agent fucked him over.

Awesome job on the graphics. The opening segment was hilarious. Jesse dropping the "I ain't got time to bleed" line got an LOL out of me. Great old school stuff in the tag match. It really is a throwback to the Midnights of old. But I used the president masks first! Funny stuff with Popick and the Cow. I thought it was just going to be a jobber named "The Cow", but...only in the OAOAST. Jenny/Brodie was very good. I liked the mention of the little girls crying in the crowd. My mom was in my room with me and my brother last week while we were watching this year's Rumble on DVD, and they showed the kids crying during the UT/Heidenrich package, and she started going on about how parents shouldn't be taking their kids to the events. Hopefully this doesn't sound sexist, but it's just funny to imagine that happening in a match involving two women, for some reason. Hoff/Brock seemed kind of rushed, for obvious reasons, but it was still fun to read. I like how he uses emoticons for some of the commentary. Widow/Lilith was quick and to the point. I liked Widow's promo a lot, and the random kickout times. That Jesse Ventura, he's a smart man. My match commentary was lacking even more than usual...I was originally planning to send it to someone and have them add in commentary, but I didn't finish it as soon as I thought I would, so I just went back and added it in myself. Good VX/Parka stuff...this is probably a dumb question, but is it just a coincidence that there's a character named Vitamin X as well as the poster, or was he in the OAOAST during my absence and you just kept using his character? Zack/Black was tremendous, and the ending really helped get Drek/GPX over as monster heels. Interesting to see what comes of the supposed deal with Dan Black. Ultimate X was awesome. Great match concept, and some sort of story between everyone involved, it seemed. Tremendous. The ME seemed a little rushed, but really seemed to advance a story between CWM and Tony...perhaps heading toward a collision course at AS? Great show overall. Also interested to see who our new GM will be.

Um, well...if this does go down, at least they're getting something back for him.
