Those who know Atkins shouldn't be surprised that this would come from him. The guy is worthless when he's not making threes, yet he somehow becomes one of the most hated guys on whatever team he joins because of his big mouth. I hated him on the Pistons, I hated him on the Celtics, and I hate him now on the Lakers.

Just saw a commercial for this. This season on Dream Job, it will be six former NBA players trying to win a job as the newest NBA analyst, ala Greg Anthony, Tim Legler, etc. The players are Dee Brown Darryl Dawkins Matt Bullard Dana Barros Gerald Wilkins and there was one more who I forget. I fear if Darryl Dawkins wins, it could become another SAS/Michael Irvin/Shannon Sharpe/etc. deal. Discuss.

Apparently just last week Stern was asked about Artest, and he said he had entertained the idea of considering reinstatement, but has decided to stick with his decision. Artest is not coming back.
