A couple more things: I am still upset about not getting my Colts-Packers Super Bowl. Also, if Manning is on the cover of Madden 2005, hell will be raised.

*raises hand* I'm confident the Colts can beat the Pats (especially after our game during the season), but Peyton Manning is so used to playing in a Dome, I just hope he can adjust to playing in cold-ass New England in a playoff atmosphere. But the streak has to end sometime, and Manning's been so hot lately, I have faith that *THE* MVP can adjust. I predicted it would be Indy/Philly when the playoffs began, and I'm going to stick with it.

Fuck Charlie Ward. I pick him up mainly for his threes, so of course he goes for *0* points in his first two games with SA. So he's now on waivers, whoever's interested.
-
Well so much for timetables... I just read in the paper that Bender will make his season debut tonight. Ah well...I wouldn't have dumped any of my other guys for him anyway.

100 even last night. 1/15: PG: Jason Kidd SG: Michael Redd SF: Shawn Marion PF: Zach Randolph C: Erick Dampier Coach: Maurice Cheeks

Raven_Effect01. If you don't believe him, just look at his SN.

Just read that the Rockets are going to bring in Mark Jackson for a workout.

Payton, Fisher, George, Slava > the above Which leaves T-Mac going crazy by having to do everything himself and getting bad press by doing so. That was my point.

Some news from around the league, large amounts of it bad for the Lakers: Scottie Pippen was activated by the Bulls. Troy Murphy is out at least a month. Karl Malone will miss two to three more weeks, and Kobe is out at least five games because of his shoulder. Phil Jackson said Rick Fox could be playing again in as soon as a week, and that they will likely add a guard to the roster in Kobe's absence. Isiah Thomas has said he would not carry both the Head Coach and President responsibilities for the Knicks, but did not assure that Chaney's job was safe for the rest of the season. Christian Laettner was suspended five games for violating the anti-drug policy.

Well, it was the same way for T-Mac the last three seasons with Grant Hill. Yet the Magic still made the playoffs all three of those seasons. The Lakers are 7-14 over the last two years without Shaq, including wins over Cleveland last night, Atlanta and the Clippers. I honestly can't explain why the Magic have sucked this year, but McGrady has no more real help than Kobe does right now, who still has Payton to help, plus George and Slava stepping it up in Malone's absence, not to mention one of their championship starters (Fisher) now coming off the bench and one (Fox) still waiting to come back.

Don't feel too bad, as not only did I have Payton, but I also had Kobe, and the two combined for 10 VGMs, as part of my 79 for the night. 1/14: PG: Jamaal Tinsley SG: Larry Hughes SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Tim Duncan C: Marcus Camby Coach: Rick Carlisle

On the subject of Pierce, he and Ray Allen were named players of the week.

I wouldn't say Wade is a lost cause. This is his first injury of the season, whereas this will be Arenas' third trip to the IL. We don't know if Wade's injury is recurring. Murphy's stats aren't quite on par with last season's, but some guys just need more time to shake off rust.
-
Actually his whole first *two* years.
-
When did Jim Jackson build a time machine and go back ten years? He's been on quite the roll lately. 125 VGMs last night, solid nights all around. Could have asked a little more form Hamilton, but I don't want to get greedy with the rut I've been in. 1/13: PG: Andre Miller SG: Ray Allen SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Carlos Boozer C: Brad Miller Coach: Nate McMillan
-
Carrying them where, exactly? You being a Kobe fan, I wouldn't talk about anyone not being able to carry a team.
-
Fuck Bender, he goes from 2-4 weeks at the beginning of the season, and here it is the middle of January and he STILL has no timetable for his return. So, I have officially given up on him in this league.
-
Now we can just use "pick Keith Closs."
-
DAMN YOU TO HELL FLIP. TO HELL. I broke my streak of four consecutive sub-100 point nights, but Flip gives me a whopping THREE VGMs in his part. I had 103 VGMs, so the only reason I did break my streak was because the Wizards actually WON (~!) last night. When you have a lineup with Garnett, Duncan AND O'Neal, and have to rely on THAT to break 100, it's about time to pack it in. I'm gonna stick with it though. 1/12: PG: Gary Payton SG: Kobe Bryant SF: Dirk Nowitzki PF: Carlos Boozer C: Zydrunas Ilgauskas Coach: Phil Jackson

As far as I knew that's what he played.
-
Remember that "below average night" from Randolph? Well, he looks like Chamberlain compared to last night's -1 (yes, NEGATIVE 1) VGM. Not only that, Kidd gets hurt and ends with 9, and Shareef only has 7. Jermaine shot 6-16 and had 4 turnovers, and his 17 VGMs was my HIGHEST total as I end up with 51 VGMs. 1/11: PG: Steve Francis SG: Rip Hamilton SF: Peja Stojakovic PF: Elton Brand C: Ben Wallace Coach: Rick Adelman

Cuban should have named his team "Better than Atlanta." Or maybe "Better than Washington."
